Dira was super sweet 😍! The staff was amazing there the only thing that I did not like was that the manager started vacuuming in turn vacuuming and turning all the music off like 40 minutes before the place closed I feel like it should stay on until the customers are gone or at least until the store hours are over over that are posted. It Im paying you full price so I want full service. Jmo
I saw Ediliz at the Perimeter location for the first time Friday, June 11, 2021, but it will not be the last. Ive been trying to get PINK hair for years and so many places have given me a variation, none being the color I want/need. FINALLY she did it right. It did take a bit longer than I thought it would, but it was definitely worth it. THANK YOU!!!
I first came to Ulta in September 2019. I sat with the stylist Ebony. Omg, when I tell you that this lovely lady took excellent care of my hair, it is not an exaggeration. I wanted to go from natural to relaxed because of the heavy travel schedule of my job. Ebony walked me through step by step each part of the process. She was so careful to explain the condition of my hair, the products she was using and why and also how to care for my newly straightened hair. She even game me recommendations for hair care while on the road. Because of Ebony and her professionalism I entrusted Ulta stylists around the country (Chicago, Omaha, DC, Cleveland) to care for my hair in her absence. I recently went back to Ebony and was not disappointed. The Ulta salon is a wonderful go to if you are looking for a reputable salon with professional stylists that is trained to do all types of hair. I was a type 4C hair. Now I am relaxed and healthy.
I don’t normally write reviews, but had to come on here and share my recent amazing experience with Slater. He/they went above and beyond to help me find my color match in PUR! Shade LP4 didn’t let me down y’all when I say my face stayed in place, after a boozy day at the river with family on Labor Day this stuff is a godsend. Slater was extremely knowledgeable, kind hearted and informative on what to do with my cystic acne prone skin. When recommending the PUR love your selfie foundation, he let me know that it was long wearing and would help hide my blemishes and dark spots all while looking natural and not like I’m wearing pounds of makeup. Slater helped me feel beautiful again!
I loved getting my haircut at Ulta after growing it out for two years. Edeliz was my hair stylist and she was AMAZING! She did exactly what I asked for and answered all of my questions about the products throughout the process. She also (very patiently) gave my (really thick) hair a phenomenal blowout! I highly recommend her for your color and cuts...she put a lot of time, energy and care into my haircut!
I usually go to a wonderful stylist at the Buckhead salon but they could not fit me in around my work schedule. My hair was definitely in need of some color and my ends were begging for a trim! I decided to give Justin a try and he did not disappoint. I got a fantastic cut and color from him! For the last two weeks I’ve been getting compliments frequently about my hair. I will definitely be coming back to him and would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone seeking a retouch or new look.
Decided to try out a new stylist and new place not because I was unhappy with where I was going but because a friend said I should try a specific stylist here. First I would like to say the stylist at Ulta was very sweet, however, I am not spending close to $500 for sweet and not sitting in a chair for 6 hours to hate my hair. Looks absolutely nothing like the picture I showed her (I even showed her a picture with me with the same exact haircut I wanted as well as a picture of the front, back and side views of the style)A simple long bob was not something I would think someone could get wrong. After six hours of sitting in a chair and her asking if I wanted anything changed it was an absolute NO, not because I liked the haircut but because I didn’t trust her to actually fix it and not make it worse. I should have known when she didn’t know about certain styling tools that were out and have been out for 5+ years not to let her do my hair.My advice if you want a trim this is a good place to go and as I said the stylist was really sweet. But for a new look and color do not go here. For the same price you can see a Master Stylist with a lot more experience and better eye for style
This store is massive and they have three main sections: haircare(back left), skincare(middle and back right), and makeup (across the front).They carry a variety of brands from drugstore brand, Neutrogena and ELF, to luxury brands like Lancôme and Kiehl’s. I saw a couple of foreign brands from Australia (Kyn.), Korea (TonyMoly and PureHeals), and England.They have testers for most (not all) of their cosmetics and few of their skincare products. They have a few designated area for clearance items scattered around the store or they just have clearance tags on the shelves.
I was there today to get a haircut with Edeliz for the first time. She is a nice and kind young lady, professional, and best of all, she did a wonderful job! The haircut is flawless and she styled it in a way that made my hair look gorgeous. She also gave me a treatment because she saw my hair needed it and recommended it right away. Good luck, Edeliz 🌸
I was in desperate need of help with my mask acne. I needed a foundation system for oily skin. A guy named Shohaun helped me. Apologies if I spelled his name wrong! Anyway, he looked at my skin and found me a moisturizer, foundation, powder and a brush within three minutes. I got home and tested out the products he recommended, even down to the application which he showed me how to do. I’ve never had anything better in my life. This guy knows his stuff! Waiting in line was a little longer than I would’ve liked but I would go again just because of him. I found out he has 24 years of experience and it shows. Great experience!
I went in yesterday to find the NYX shine loud collection because it’s sold out in most places but I lucked up and found a couple of colors so that’s two stars for that. But as far in customer service I walked in and brought it Jacquelyn attn that I would like to exchange two items received as a gift from my mother;a foundation and a highlighter, upon checking out I was told from the Ulta employee at checkout that I couldn’t exchange my products because they wasn’t able to find it in the system due to no receipt and that I can only exchange if they could see it in the system that it came from Ulta which is not Ulta policy. I’ll go to another location who knows their policy !
I was incredibly disappointed by the response of a manager when making a return of a Philosophy Face wash. She asked why I was returning the product and I told her it was due to my allergies (genetic problems). She told me this was an all natural product and it doesnt cause rashes. I nicely responded that all natural products still require preservatives (even all natural ones) which may cause me to react. She than proceeded to tell me there was nothing in this store for me and I needed to get an allergy test.I am sorry, but I shop quite frequently at ULTA and I had already told her I use La Roche Posay and some other brands, but am trying to expand my search. DO NOT be disrespectful and tell me nothing is here for me. DO NOT tell me to go get an allergy test, because you do not know my health problems. Additionally, DO NOT tell me that I am mistaken about a product which is causing me a rash. All skin types are different and as a result not one product works for everyone. You are not a doctor, dermatologist, chemist, or allergist.It is disheartening to know that I will now have to travel to another ULTA for my business or Sephora. DO NOT shame people.

The benefit bar brow is amazing. Ask for Tonya. The other sales associates could be a lot nicer thus only 3 stars. I see a lot of people with the same comments and an apology from Ulta but it cant be that hard to find better help. I stood in a line with 7 people to check out at 1pm on a Friday. Only one cashier was ringing people up while 2 other employees stood behind the same counter gossiping about someone
I went in earlier this week to get an ombré color done to my hair. I showed my stylist exactly what I wanted in a picture. My stylist did not do anything that looked remotely like the picture I showed. She even said to me after revealing the color that she added a bit of her on touch in. The style was not ombre, it was right at my roots and was much lighter than what I had wanted. The stylist even put some of the chemical that removes old toner from the hair right onto my forehead skin. I now have a long scab across my forehead from this. When I pointed this out to my stylist she told me it was just “redness” and put some lotion on it. I’ve been to the ulta salon before and have not been disappointed so I’m willing to give them another shot. I have an appointment tomorrow to hopefully fix the outcome of my hair. Disappointed with this particular stylist, not the location.
Poor customer service here. They are virtually nonexistent. Had to wait in line to ask a simple question lol.

Not the selection I was expecting to see. The new spring items reflected on the Ulta website are not available in this store yet. The only reason I went to the store was to purchase a new perfume for a friends birthday. It would be helpful to let customers know the actual in stock date in stores. Theyre still trying to clear out holiday sets!

Pike is my absolute favorite hair stylist ever! She always makes me look and feel amazing, and I always walk out extremely pleased with my cut! I don’t know how she does it (maybe magic???) but she is able to transform my hair from boring to fabulous so quickly, and she always keeps the conversation fun throughout the whole appointment. I refuse to go to any other stylist - Pike is the only person I trust with my hair and I recommend her to anyone and everyone I can!

I am absolutely disgusted with the customer service at this location. As I came in, I wasn’t even greeted or acknowledged. Maybe they were busy, it’s fine. Then I search the store looking for a product l and I couldn’t find it, so I tried looking for an associate and was unable to locate one on the floor. I have to walk up to the front asking if someone was available. After waiting another 10 minutes someone comes to help me and his attitude was appalling. I asked about the product and with a snarky response he said they don’t carry it at this location, then I asked about another product and he points me to something else. He didn’t even try to help, like I was bothering him. Then just walked away once he pointed me to the product. I was so upset because I just needed help. I will not be coming back to this location.

My experience here was an absolute disaster. We used the online-store pickup service for a bottle of silver conditioner. Stopped in during my lunch break to grab my order - which wasnt ready I might add - and took it home. It was then that my wife realized that Matthew, the clerk who helped fulfill the order, gave us the wrong color as we received platinum, not silver. I believe he knowingly gave us the wrong color. I know this to be true because when I went to the store the next day to make the exchange - the silver was out of stock. I was then refunded the cost of the online order in cash, then had to re-purchase the silver online (for $4 more???) then had to have it shipped to the house which took another 4-5 days for it to arrive. Overall I was super disappointed in the online order/ store pickup service. Equally disappointing was the fact that it took 2 store visits + an online purchase & delivery to receive one bottle of conditioner. The incompetence of the staff here was truly astounding. If you really need Ultas products, would recommend that you purchase online and have it delivered, that way you can avoid waiting in lines twice.
Nice place to purchase your makeup items. Etc... Sometimes items are on sale and you can get a nice little percentage off. Really good service. Staff was really nice and eager to help. One of my favorite places to shop.
Low on inventory, no one spoke to me, and it WAS HOT inside the store.
I was shopping for makeup with my boyfriend in this location earlier today. We were asked to leave by the manager as my boyfriend was carrying around our miniature dog (who weighs less than 10 pounds). I have brought my dog into this exact store 5 other recent times, and on each previous occasion my dog was happily greeted by the staff. I was holding and planning to purchase around $200 worth of makeup, but set it all down the moment I was asked to leave because dogs were suddenly and unexpectedly “not allowed”. I then made the short drive over to Sephora, where my dog was happily welcomed by the staff (including the manager). I purchased my products over there instead. From now on, I plan to shop online if I ever want anything from Ulta, as the manager’s rude attitude and lack of consistency in store rules ruined my experience of this location. To be honest, this store is also not very well organized and many items are not stocked consistently. I’d recommend a different store if you want to ensure the items you are looking for are in stock. And if you like to bring your cute doggy to shop like I do, the nearby Sephora is pet friendly! :)
All of the staff at the Salon here are amazing. I personally love Pike. She has been the only stylist to ever cut my short hair correctly and to style my hair so it stays looking beautiful for days! I’m so glad I found her!
I usually go to this location because they have a decent selection of affordable makeup, body and skincare.I had a 60-minute full skin treatment with Daphne, which I had to wait a couple of weeks to schedule because they didn’t have an aesthetician at this location to do skincare. I had been in contact with the manager to ask what Daphne’s experience was and how long she had been a licensed aesthetician.When I arrived to my appointment, Daphne was warm and personable as well as knowledgeable about skin, however, her body odor made it very hard to sit through my hour and 15 minute appointment. I thought maybe she had just had a long day but when I visited the store a separate time like a month after my appointment, I could still smell her when I walked by her.I would also like to add that I was under the impression that extractions were included in the 60-minute full skin facial. I didn’t ask for extractions, she went ahead and did them herself then tacked on another $15 for doing them, which I was not happy about. I have been going to Ulta for facials for a very long time for various facials and never had that happen before.I wanted to continue to go to this location for facial due to the convenience of the location (less than 20 minutes from my house) but my experience wouldn’t allow me to do so again.
I have to get the name of the sales lady who helped me. She REALLY did help me. She recommended products (better than those I selected), knew what I was looking for (because I received & used a gift without knowing the name of the product) and spent quality time with me (or properly dispatched me - I offered so I could take my time to browse) while she was restocking. She was so helpful to me, other customers came over to her, too. Ill be back w a name to give you. Love her. She didnt cramp me, stalk me or ignore me; she Helped me like they are supposed to do. I def bought more bc of her service

No better place to buy presents for teenage girls for Christmas or birthdays. Lots of good selections at good prices. They have all the teenagers favorite brands and they usually have coupons out. The staff is friendly too.

I went to buy makeup. I was waiting for a benefit counter representative to be available to speak with them. A pushy manager came over and placed me with an Anastasia rep. I told her over and over I needed simple makeup that looked natural. She put so much on I looked like a clown. Immediately washed it off. Wasted an hour of my time.
Curbside pickup is really really slow. Would have gone in to purchase one item but didnt know store was open, already purchased & paid online. Will only hold 5 days. Will not be back until next Saturday, do they credit my card or do I just pay for something I never get?
Went to the brow bar. The ladies there, in my limited experience with it (Ive only been twice) I have come out with amazing looking (and feeling) eyebrows.
I like Ulta but I think its hard to find the items I need. The staff seems to have a hard time finding items as well.I enjoyed the clearance racks here though! Tons of great products - toner, eye shadow, moisturizers - all for a fraction of the original price. I didnt pay more than $2 for any item and they were all originally priced over $20.
Pike is an amazing stylist. She is patient and accommodating. I always leave her chair very happy.
Where to start? The makeup section has no makeup remover solution so how are you going to sample the product. Then I asked the general manager to help she was so rude and unpleasant. She pointed to the side of the store where I can get some makeup remover solution. Then it’s a worker on the floor with Apple earbuds in talking to someone the whole time. She wasn’t much help either. The phones were ringing off the hook to the point where me and a customer yelled thank God when someone picked up. I go to check out and the general manager is ringing me up but she never speaks or greets me. How did she even get the position? I will not be coming back. Should of went with my gut and went to Sephora. Ulta doesn’t even have the skin scanner to find my true foundation.
Good afternoon KKB, I am a big fan or your cosmetics, up until I bought two lipsticks .. and let’s be honest they are pricy but when you love a product so much it is not, so for me to be excited about buying your product and it smelling spoiled and dry .. it is not much of my interest left of buying any sort of products from this company . I am really upset because I myself am a fan of Kim and her beauty products /: . Not so happy about my purchase . I am just writing this so before anything is sold make sure it is in good conditions .. thank you for your time .And for ulta, I understand it was not your fault for products to Be spoiled and dried up, but to have a item in shelves for such a long time and still regular price for it to come out dried up and spoil and smelling ugly is a bit disappointing.
Employees were very rude and not helpful at all. Would not recommend this location for anyone who needs to go to Ulta. Go to Sephora or order online because the bad service is not worth the trip.
I was shopping this location last Friday. Was not greeted at the door and walked past several employees with no acknowledgement. One employee was clearly in the middle of a hair appointment and walked around with a cap and gown. Not very professional in my humble opinion. This location is very close to my home, but I will not be coming back. Ill have to shop at another location. Just some advice.... Disneys books on gold star customer service is a great read.
Terri is wonderful - she helped me pick out an entire new makeup lineup - from foundation to lipstick and eyes. She chose products from 6 different cosmetics companies. I am excited to try all my new products.
I had my hair cut and styled at the salon. This was my 3rd visit. Deanna always does a great job, friendly but professional. They were fairly busy, it being Dec. 20th, but she took me with only a few hours notice anyway. Its always a treat for me going to Ulta Salon!
One of the worst experiences with customer service I’ve ever had in my life. This was my first time EVER in an Ulta store. Its disappointing because I was actually recommend to go because of lashes a Sephora employee was wearing. Nobody here is friendly nor kind & not to mention the few employees that I asked for help don’t seem to know they’re product! I truly believe that they need to have a day where they teach they’re employees to learn their product and manners. As I entered this location let’s start with I wasn’t greeted at all for nearly 18 mins!!! Mind you the doors are right next to the registers. I wasn’t asked if I needed help at all. Everyone seemed extremely aggravated & not willing to help or even ask. I asked two people for help the First Lady took me to the wrong area I was so confused I just said thanks for the help & continued to look for help. Then I saw Another employee . She was the RUDEST OF THEM ALL! I asked for help as she wasWalking by she took a loud deep breath then said “ they’re working clearly I’m not” I said okay then proceeded to walk to the front to ask for the general manager because at this point I felt so disrespected. This location lacks customer service they will treat you terrible!!!

Great customer service! Each and EVERY Ulta associate spoke to me. Came in to replace foundation-left with an even better product. Terri took her time and helped me choose the products that I needed. Even called another store to get an item that was sold out at her store...
Just left the store and the floor guy followed me around the ENTIRE time I was shopping like every time I turned around there he was. I was in the Benefit section deciding whether I wanted brow products or not and he started there after I picked up the product and followed me to the Almay section then to the next aisle. Im a paying customer and a rewards member I shop Ulta ALL the time kinda felt profiled at this location. The cashier was really nice though. But I do appreciate being followed around like a criminal so I wont be returning to this location. Gave it 2 stars for the nice cashier.
Pike is amazing! She’s been doing my hair for years and it’s to the point that I just let her do what she thinks is best for me and my lifestyle. She’ll just ask me what events I have coming up, work schedule, etc. and she gets to work. Her balayage technique is awesome, and it grows out beautifully so if I’m not able to come in for a touch up for a while it still looks good! Also if you’ve ever gotten this process done you know it can take a few hours but Pike is so personable and funny, you won’t even notice that you’ve been sitting in the chair for that long.Plus you can’t beat the overall experience of getting your hair done (or any service, really) at Ulta. I love to shop and trying new products but I also love saving money and HATE driving all over georgia trying to get everything. Here I can go in and get my hair done or a dermalogica facial, get my brows shaped and tinted, and then buy all the products I need to maintain my look in one place. AND I get points for all the coin I just dropped for future purchases?? It’s my happy place for sure.
I loved the beauty products and the rates. I got my hair cut done here and the stylist was professional and gave me a very good face frame. But not the one to whom you could ask your queries about ur hair and get them answered😑😐. When they mention we get a consult we really need one not just a 💇
We didnt know what to get as a gift for a 7th grader who works for us. The staff jumped right in and showed us what she would like and, sure enough, our employee loved the gift. She even said it was the best gift she received so we were thrilled.
Young lady didnt acknowledge me as a customer nor did she offer any assistance. However, she did notice a particular customer and greeted her! That is all Im going to say about that. Sad and unfortunate for this young lady to chose which customers she greets.
My first visit here was great. My second however made me not want to return. Nobody knows anything about the store. And they act soooo busy when u finally find help that its not even worth it. If your getting attention 9 times outta ten its because their pushing a certain brand that day. The store has Everything... Just be willing to spend a great deal of time looking for everthing yourself.
This review is well-deserved. I stopped by Ulta Beauty nearly at closing for help. I had henna done at a bridal shower that transferred from my hand to my face due to me not listening to the artist. Tre helped with color matching some products to cover the ink. Most of the products were a no-go as the henna print bled through the make up. All praise to Tre, I was able to remove the ink, as he suggested, by finding natural ways to remove the ink all together!!!#Satifised #TreIsPassionate
Missy is an awesome salon manager and remedied the issues that another stylist left me with. She was social and friendly and graceful. Glad they redeemed themselves. This is the ULTA I know and appreciate.

Great selection a little understaffed the three times that I have been there. They dont have enough staff and you end up waiting. However when you do get their attention and someone is there to help they are very helpful. I will continue to shop here as they are very pleasant.

I visited this store looking for a facial steamer. I found it odd theta they didnt carry any. The store was clean and I was greeted with a smiling face as well asked if I needed help by one of the sales associates. I didnt purchase anything because they didnt carry what I needed. Theres a free parking lo as well.

Love Ulta overall but this particular location in Dunwoody, the employees follow me around the store. Very uncomfortable feeling when you bend down to look for a product on the bottom shelf and an employee swiftly comes to that aisle & pretend to clean up. Worst that being in a beauty supply store

Personally after walking into this store I will now be shopping online or even take business elsewhere. Not one person came to ask if they could help me. Saw many sitting or standing around talking to each other. I was within 10 feet of 2 workers for 20 minutes (and no I am not lying to make the complaint better) and no one offered to help me. Customer service is getting worse and worse. I could have stayed home and purchased online while looking at the reviews for help. I know little about make-up so I rely on those in the service to help me. Hopefully something in the store will change.
