Very nice, small ABC store...the people that work there are very nice. They say hello every time I go in...or do I go in too often?...LOL!

Its always fun to see whats new or what might be on sale to try,,,, I have quite a collection shopping that way! The Hope Valley Commons ABC store is always clean and neat and the staff is always friendly and helpful. My 4th of July treat is making Cherry Bombs (found on Pinterest) hench the vanilla vodka. The vanilla Kahlua is something new for me to try :)

This is a big attractive store well laid out and served by a friendly and helpful staff. It is a far cry from NC ABC stores of the past where one was made to feel like a sinner for entering and daring to purchase Demon Rum. My home state has grown up (in many ways)!

This is a well ran store, that is always stocked up and ready for beverage needs. Parking lot is alittle small so it will be busy on Friday and Saturday nights! Just a fair warning.

Cashiers are quick and friendly. I dont by hard alcohol often, but when I do the selection here is good. Is also convenient to Food Lion, Harris Teeter, and Small Cakes - nothing washes down a cupcake like a shot o whiskey!

On New Years Eve they had a line out the door but those cashiers were hustling! I was in and out in less than 10 minutes.

Their rules are very odd concerning liquor purchased at that store. Ive seen less strict rules in the Supreme Court.

A bit small and difficult to get in and out of. The staff are nice. The store could use some fresh paint and a Polish on the floors. I always feel like Im in a windowless box in here and cant wait to get out.

A smaller location but always quick service, friendly people and a well organized store.

It may be small, but this ABC location has the best service of any Ive been to. The staff is friendly, helpful, and sweet. The store is always well organized and clean. I always walk out with a smile.

All women. Totally clean. Felt just good af shopping here. No lingering gazes, no dusty areas where you might get cornered by a weird dude with space issues. Its the best damn liquor store Ive ever been in. To be honest, I hadnt realized how much better my experience could be until I visited this location. Enjoyed the vibe.

I sent an email to the State ABC board also because the customer service in that store is a welcome change from that I have received in other ABC stores Jason was so knowledgeable and willing to help with my selections and need to find the Peach Crown Royal as it was a limited product. I really want to give him a kudos for that!

A reasonable selection. They have a section dedicated to local products, which is good. Friendly people.

Just your standard government-run liquor establishment.Not the biggest selection, but they do carry some higher end single malts which is all Im really looking for usually anyway. I do prefer the privately owned model you find in some other states though. The employees tend to be less like DMV workers and take the job more personally.

I grew up in a state that didnt see the need to have a government controlled monopoly on liquor sales to protect the population. Perhaps its a bias, but I can never bring myself to rate any ABC highly when it restricts my choice, jacks up prices, and somehow thinks its providing me a service.

An okay NC ABC store with decent selection. There are other stores that have somewhat better selection within a few miles though.
