Penske literally SAVED us qhen Budget Truck cancelled on us THE DAY OF OUR MOVE. Mike at Penske was great in helping us find exactly what we needed in an emergency. Highly recommend Penske and safely stay away from Budget!

DO NOT TAKE TRUCKS TO SERVICE, they lie every single time you call them. its been 10 days truck still have not been touched but yet they have been lying and saying it will be done by the end of the day for past at least 5 days!! Finally Luke admitted today that they havent even touched the truck yet and its been 10 days! why would you lie and say it will be done when you have no intention of finishing at all?

Needed windshield wipers badly. One wheel was damaged prior to pickup which caused vibration. Process online and at pickup and drop-off was great.

Never disappointed here! First time we rented here, I was on my 4th truck by Tuesday. Today, I had a 2pm reservation, showed up well after 2 and now Im waiting at least another 1/2 hour for a 2nd truck because the first truck wouldnt build air. At least Ive got absolutely nothing better to do than wait.

The company I work for holds a fairly big account with Penske. That said every Penske I go to either Wisconsin or Minnesota has signs of services provided on the full service fuel island. Check fluids, do windows and mirrors etc. Eagan MN has someone who does this, but in 25 years of trucking I never did my windows or had someone else do my windows that actually came out so bad that it’s worse than when I went in. Unreal for a union shop and lack of caring for lease agreements. Nearly feel it was on purpose just for asking to please do the windows and mirrors. Total waste of a job to someone who acts like they don’t even want to work or courtesy to do the job right.

The representative was very meticulous, change 2 batteries, filters and prime the system. Thanks

Where should i start... Upon creating a reservation online (which is intuitive) a week before my planned moved, i called 4 days before to change the date, and the representative said because i changed to a day that is extremely busy, and wanting to give me the most time possible to move they would allow me to pick up the truck a day before at no additional charge. That was a blessing truly that they cared for me the customer in this way. Then 2 days before the move i saw that my finances were really tight, so i sought to cancel, but Brock the manger there personally reached out to me on his device, and went past the extra mile to retain my business. In all it shows true servitude, and gratitude of the customers that come to their Eagan location, which i might add is so rare now days. In summation, this is the reason for my 5 stars rating.

My truck was having a mechanical issue and called the Service Department and was told someone would help me. The mechanic was professional and had my truck back running in less than an hour. I appreciate this shops customer service and the quick repair so that I could get back on the road.

Rented a 12 truck for a cross country move. Had incredibly cupped front tires to the point where the steering wheel felt like it was going to shake off at pretty much any speed. After two trips to their service department (second was at 6am the day of the move due to the truck being loaded prior to identifying the issue) they replaced the front tires. Then, had an issue with tire pressure on the trip... many delays to the trip and a ton of extra stress. They fixed the main problem, but it shouldnt have ever been an issue. Will not recommend Penske or use again.

Loaded up the truck, noticed the headlight was out. Went back to penske to have it fixed and load the car on the trailer. Two different issues with the trailer waited nearly an hour to fix and then the team there wouldnt even guide my son on how to load the car. Now were on the side of the freeway with a blown trailer tire. Do they not inspect their vehicles? I have to take this thing over the Arizona mountains. Sure hope we make it.....alive

Equipment was available on a Friday with a booking 4 days before. Good equipment that isnt all scratched up. Oh yeah... I actually got to talk to a live person at the front desk when I called with questions before booking. Hertz had an automated system that gave you the run around to get info on booking a truck. I will definitely use Penske Truck Rental again.

Went there to return a rental hence staff was pleasant and returning the truck was easy. Plus, they are cheaper than Budget or U-Haul combined. I rented a 16 footer to move from Denver CO to Eagan MN for $650 for a 980 mile trip one way. Plus, I am retired military did get some discounts as well.

I cant recommend them. They set up our rental truck over the phone and quoted us a price, but then charged us more on the invoices (which we had to ask for because they never sent them - just charged our credit card). They said it was because we didnt provide proof of insurance, but they never asked us for it either. I got the information quickly from our insurance carrier, but they wouldnt credit us the additional amount they charged since we didnt provide it up front. How can we provide them with something they never asked for? So we promptly returned our rental and went to Ryder instead, who has been great to work with.

Reserved a truck for personal use. They didnt have a truck for me when I arrived, nor did the requested truck exist. Tried to get me into a truck that didnt fit my application. Cost me time and money dealing with them.Supervisor listened to the recorded phone reservation and never called back.Update: Penske called me back 3 hours later to offer a 20% discount for not having a truck available. However, they forced me to put the rental under a business rental and did not tell me about running a credit check on me.I did not authorize a credit check and Penske illegally obtained information about me without my knowledge.I went to pick up the truck a second time, and Alex at the front desk decided not to tell me that the $150 deposit had magically switched to $450 because it was a business rental now.Anyway, they still didnt have a truck for me and the manager got offended when I was trying to figure out a solution with them.Save your time and money, go to Budget or Enterprise.Thanks for wasting my time Penske.

I have rented a lot of dock trucks from this location and it can be slow over here but you have to realize that there are a ton of trucks waiting to get fixed or whatever done here. Everyone wants to get in and out, but grow some patience here if you can be understanding. If not then move on; there are other locations, other ways to rent, and different companies like Ryder Trucks for example. Or just do it your self, and stop whining.

Bad customer service. Not loyal to long time customers. Been renting for a good period of time. They were offering free 1000 miles after a two weeks rental, not anymore. If you forget any valuables in the truck after you returned it, your loss. They offer descent rates for business, but rather take my business somewhere where customer loyalty is appreciated.

Had a 28 to 30 foot truck attempt to run a few cars off the road last night, pretty surprised theres no customer service number, no tracking device, let alone a truck number on the vehicle anywhere to be found. Quite sad honestly. Its sad to see, the two individuals in the truck were giving drivers the finger, blowing the horn, he swerved into the right lane multiple times to try and run the individuals off the road.

These guys are great. We used them when we moved here from across the country and are now using them as we move back. Unfortunately weve had some emergencies and have had to change our reservation twice, but the team here has been very understanding and accommodating.

Great experience renting a truck through Penske. They made the entire process easy and affordable, truck was in great condition and after hours drop-off was simple.

Aweful experience. Misquoted on a price and over charged by hundreds of dollars and we just keep getting the same run around no matter who we call including corporate. Never EVER will I use Penske and Never will I recommend it to anyone. Pure robbery. I work in customer service and a customer would never be treated the way I was treated and lied to. All over crappy service. If I could I would rate it a -10.

Dont rent from them...got a loaner truck with previous damage...and now they are wanting me to pay for it...it is bs...and they play the passing game when i called to find out why...no one has their story straight...seem like a scam to me

Only made it about 6 miles and the truck broke down. Had to be towed back. Lost the whole day

Price beat every price I had looked at and the Penske trucks are alot nicer ride than Uhaul or Budget . Ive used Uhaul before they are ok but arent close to Penske in quality or price!
