I needed storage for just a couple months and getting setup with the app was easy. Location was only half mile from my house. Access was through parking bays using key code, so it was very secure and clean. Building has carts to move stuff. Used the app on my phone to open the bay doors to gain access to building. Tori helped me get setup and also closed it out when I was done. Hassle free. She was very helpful!

I am moving and came to this facility to look at what was available. The girl working said she was about to go to lunch but when I told her I wanted to look at the place, she said it was no problem and showed me a handful of sizes! Its very clean as well compared to other places Ive seen. Will definitely be coming back here when we are ready to move!

The 4.6 rating is based off of what Beyond Storage earned, not Public Storage. Dont trust the high rating of this location.When this was Beyond Storage it was a great place! Now that Public Storage has taken over, the facility is not as clean or well maintained. The Public Storage office staff is not as friendly or helpful as when Beyond Storage owned it. I was told by the staff of Public Storage that the rates would not go up, LIARS. Within a few months that raised the price by $17/mo. They have also taken away some of the nicer options that Beyond Storage had. Public Storage is nothing but a money hungry company. Their statements of being trusted since 1972 are just a marketing gimmick. Avoid Public Storage at all costs.

We rented storage unit at Public Storage when we first moved to Minnesota and before we had bought a house.Accessing the facility was pretty convenient and they did take “okay” COVID precautions. By no means did they enforce them though.The facility was clean and heated. However, there was an “air freshener” scent left on our items that were had stored there. I get it. People are smelly. But, I would have preferred not to have to air out my items just to get rid of the stench.Overall, we were satisfied with the storage location. It was convenient, a moving truck can pull in pretty easily (semi-sized pull into the drive only - the garage is nowhere near big enough for that.

Reed was great!! He showed me several units because I was not sure which size would be the best fit for my situation. He also thoroughly explained all the details about renting a unit. I was very happy to see that the location was very clean and well-maintained! He did all of this patiently and with an amazing attitude! I was very impressed. Thanks so much Reed!

Wife and I are thinking about moving to the area, so we wanted to find storage for the interim. Tori was very helpful, showed us a number of units and gave good information. Super helpful!

This used to be Beyond Self Storage which had 24 hour access. How disappointing that Public Storage took over. One big fail for this location is that the bathrooms are locked once mgmt leaves for the night. Absolutely not ok.

Update: Since Public Storage took over the rules have changed but have not necessarily been updated or posted on site. Then they call you to tell you that you have broken a rule and have implemented a 3 strikes policy. They also have raised the monthly rent on a 7x10 from $119 to $153 per month. Very disappointed with the changes.Original review: Rebecca was easy to work with and provided so much information for us on the phone. Then when we got there we were pleased to find a covered loading bay with door to protect from the elements. All around it has been a great experience.

Use BYS for 2 months, could not be more delighted, clean, easy access, no weather to deal with, 3 large bays for loading and unloading, staff: Tom and Rebecca were very helpful, friendly, and easy to deal with. On the last day of our rental, we had a major problem moving a very heavy item, Tom said the next renter would not be in to the unit until 11:00 the next day, without triggering a full month rental, he said if you can get it out by 11:00 no problem. NICE!!!! Five stars for location, facilities, staff, and customer service.

I have nothing but high reviews about this facility and its employees. It is convenient, spotless, and affordable. The employees are friendly and helpful.

This month we move out of our three remaining Beyond Storage units into our own warehouse in Minneapolis- Our entire experience at Beyond Storage was handled by managers Tom and Rebecca. Through being surrounded by such positive energy everyday day in day out we were able to grow from not one, not two, not even three at one point we had 4 units going with them and we were PROFITING !! Beyond offers offices clean facilities cameras drive ups and handles every manner in an exquisite manner of business. Tom and Rebecca are Both nothing short of a modern day Muse - They inspired us to grow big! I can’t stress how valuable this space is to any small business - I would love to see a community ship and print station in the future to adapt to e-commerce - because your team at beyond well you absolutely have all the pieces for us who focused on Amazon and eBay selling!

The staff are very friendly and more than willing to help you out. They have unita from 10x5 to 10x30 and possibly even bigger!

Ever since my initial phone call, to the present time, my experience with the staff at this Eagan location has always been pleasant. This place is always super clean, and the air smells fresh. I was not only convinced to use this building because of the location, but also because they cared about what was important to me and my belongings. After using outside lockers for years.....this is the only way to go. To have your belongings safe in a heat and humidity controlled environment, staffed by friendly outgoing people.

SECOND REVIEW:Since I wrote my first review, the facility has been purchased by Public Storage.Despite my initial misgivings (see below), I moved basically my entire life into that storage unit while Im living out of state for a couple years.Ive been paying $92/month for a 10x10 inside unit on the first floor.PS had some auto pay problems recently that forced me to log into my account. I noticed my rent was now $112/month. I assumed this was an erroneous late fee and contacted their support.Nope - its just a rent increase. I searched my inbox, and could find no correspondence about this. It just suddenly appeared.I was then told it was to bring my rent closer to market rent and if I had rented the unit today, i would be paying $132/month.But when I look on their website, I see a 10x9 on the first floor for $87/month. I see a 10x10 with elevator access for $75/month. So forgive me for doubting that the market rate has truly risen $40/month in the past 8 months.Their solution? Go somewhere else if you dont like it.FIRST REVIEW (edited for character count):#1 - As far as I can tell, they only have two loading bays. Furthermore, you cant see if someone is already in a bay until you open the gate. So either you get lucky and open the gate to find an empty bay, or you open it to find someone already there.Now you have 2 choices: You can pull in behind them - effectively blocking them in. Or back out and try the other bay. If there are already two cars there, then your choices are A) block someone in and risk an unpleasant encounter if you take longer than theyd like, or B) pull aside and sit in your car until they leave. Lovely.#2 - They have some practices that seem designed to squeeze you for money. The first one I noticed is that they REQUIRE insurance. This is not terrible in and of itself. What IS terrible is they dont emphasize this beforehand, thereby allowing you to see if you can get it covered through your own insurance.Now, to be fair, I went back and looked through the emails they sent me. One mentioned confirm insurance as a next step. But I am 100% certain they dont bring this up when talking to you.#3 - Want to use your own lock? It better be Beyond approved! Or else you will be charged a monthly fee. Once again, they will conveniently sell you a lock when you get there.#4 - Finally, and what prompted me to write this review, is their online billing sucks. When I signed up, I asked if they allowed automatic payments. I was told yes. Awesome. I create my online account - no auto payment option to be seen. Weird.When I signed my lease, I paid upfront for September. On September 17th, I get an email telling me my October bill is ready to be paid online. Cool. Go to their online portal - it shows I owe $0. I figure it was something weird with the first month and shrug it off.Then on September 29 I come back to the portal to check - still says I owe $0, so I cant pay anything. I figure I misunderstood and they have you pay your previous month.Then today, October 6, I get an email telling me that my payment is late. Sure enough, I check the portal and theres my past due amount.... plus a $20 late fee.To avoid this happening again, I went ahead and paid several months ahead. I will also now be setting a calendar reminder to make sure I sign in on the FIRST of the month - no sooner, no later. Or else theyll keep charging ridiculous late fees.Oh, and they make sure to mention in the lease that they have no obligation to send you monthly bills. So I guess just cross your fingers and hope their portal is working or set yourself a bunch of reminders.Theres no one thing thats blatantly egregious, but when you put it all together, its just....kind of gross and icky.

I didnt know how clean and organized the Eagan storage was until I went to different storage with a friend. Thanks for keeping it clean, the hallways, the carts,& bathrooms. Just feels and looks clean, your a step above other storage places.

Great customer service! The facility is brand new, clean, and has pleasantly smelling elevators. All paperwork can be done online. They have dollies and carts you can use to move the stuff you just cant part with. I got a 10x10, but realized that was not going to be enough space. They transferred me to another unit and still honored the internet special.

This place is amazing. Were storing most of our stuff while buying our first home. The entire facility is really clean, and completely indoors, so temperature controlled. They have a large bay so you can unload a vehicle or large moving truck inside. There are several different price options based not only on the size of the unit but also where in the building it is. Staff is really friendly. They also sell moving supplies like boxes, mattress bags, and locks.

Great storage facility. clean and well maintained, easy access and very secure. although, I dont agree with there 1 day is the same as 30 policy which means if you plan on vacating your unit, be sure youre out by the last day of the month because if you arent, and you vacate one of 1st, they will charge you for a full month. just a friendly fyi for you.

I heartily recommend BSS in Eagan. Tom and Rebecca were very helpful all along the way. They helped me get the best deal. Arranged my multiple storerooms to be next to or cose to each other. They were always and friendly during my stay and closed out my account promptly when I vacated. Building and units are clean and well-maintained.
