I have now been at Extra Space Store for a year and TWICE my rates have increased. They increased by $33 after about 4 months and after a year they have increase by an additional $37 a month. They lure you in with wonderful people and easy sign up BUT BEWARE if you plan to be there any appreciable amount of time your rates will likely increase.

Kevin is a very good person to talk to and very helpful.

Nice clean place, will jack up your rate after you rent for a few months. If it werent for the frequent rate Increases would be the Gold Star of self storage.

Kevin is the best!!! He answers the phone and treats people like friends instead of just another customer. He got me in a unit the same day and gave me no issues at all when I downsized and then later moved out!!! Will use this again when needed thanks to the amazing customer service Kevin gave me!!!! As stated in other reviews, Kevin is great to work with. Hes polite and professional. The one star rating is for how this company operates. It is in the lease but they do not disclose this upon signing. For others considering this storage facility for month-to-month storage, be sure to read the lease agreement fully; ...Owner may change or increase Customer’s Monthly Rental Charge, fees and charges, due to changes in market conditions or for any other reason at any time upon 30 days’ notice to Customer.. I was not given a notice and Kevin has worked with me on this months rate. The lease agreement says rates may change. They do not tell you it will automatically increase with the market conditions but will not decrease automatically if the unit value falls. That said, this should be disclosed at signing. It may not be mandatory but any company should treat its customers ethically and be forthcoming with any practices that will directly impact the customer, especially regarding costs of services.

I have used Extra Space Storage for a little over a year now and I will have to say that Kevin, the store manager for the Easley location, has been a real pleasure to deal with. Kevin epresents this location and the company in a very professional manner, and is always very helpful when the need for assistance has arose and is very prompt in returning calls or gathering information when requested Not only is Kevin very professional, he has been extremely nice and always stops to speak and see how things are going and asks if there is ever anything needed or if he can help with anything when he sees you. Kevin is always walking around checking out the grounds and does a fantastic job of keeping the grounds clean and the location very presentable. Any business would benefit if there were more employees like him who are always smiling and seem to care about their job and take pride in their work in todays work force. I had a unit here for almost a year. I am only moving out due to a new home purchase. Everyone has been nice and helpful. The facility is clean and bright. There are plenty of carts to move things in/out of interior units. Antrice was very helpful with my move out! I would definitely recommend this Extra Space storage to anyone in the area.

This storage unit is a phenomenal place to keep all of your extra belongings. It is always very clean, dry and the hours for access were great. I’m giving it a 4 out 5 only because I feel the climate control unit that I had could of been a little cooler in the South Carolina heat that we have🥵. The staff is very professional and eager to help!

Professional Staff, curteous and attentive.

They where very accommodating and with the gate times open till 10pm allowed to go after work easily. We stored our camper there and was great having a designated spot to park it. They where very friendly and helpful. The lot where the campers where stored is level and clean.

Kevin was amazing to work with. That was my original review 4 months ago and I gave it 5 stars. However, after being there just 4 months I have received notice that office hours are being shortened (which is perfectly fine with me) but I also received notice that my monthly rate has increased by $30. This means I will pay over $350 more per year. I am exceedingly disappointed. They gave me one months notice. During these trying times this seems absurd. Now there is less service with fewer office hours and MORE cost. Nothing has changed to the unit so why should the cost increase that much? As soon as I can I will be moving my items to another facility that hopefully will be more honest with their pricing.

Clean, and safe for your special items to be stored here, I have had 2 of my children to store their house items here to keep there until they got into a house...lots of room, different storage sizes for your need...give them a try, gated and security system in place for your items to be protected, you do need a lock to be put on outside of storage door, that is to purchased by you...they do have some on hand in office area when you ck in...May you get what you are looking for here...you pay a monthly fee...The SmithClan

Friendly staff! Used their services to store my camper for over a year. Facility is clean and offer large spaces for trailer or vehicle storage. The gate is large and accommodating for large vehicles/trailers. Security is reinforced with on site manager and cameras everywhere.

Unfortunately, my remote tech quit before I could move him into this facility and truly get to experience it, but I would recommend them to anyone, even without being a customer. I received exceptional customer service through the whole reservation and they even checked in to make sure there werent any questions left unanswered before the move in date. If I have a need in the future in this area, I will definitely call Kevin up and book at this facility!

Very friendly and helpful with getting set-up. Knowledgable about what space I would need to help get everything stored. Kept everything stored for 10 months during a prolonged relocation. I dealt with Kevin at the Easley, SC location and he was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. This is our second unit at Extra Space Storage and we are extremely pleased with the facilities.

A little confusion on the availability of indoor storage between the the website versus what is actually available. However, the staff performed expertly in resolving the issue on the same day and were extremely pleasant to deal with.

Kevin Rangel was very knowledgeable about the storage space and helpful getting me set up with a storage unit.

Easy to access from both directions on 153. Clean facility. Always carts readily available (big deal when you are moving stuff). Well lit and secure at night. Plus staff that is easy to work with and friendly. Rates are great in comparison to other similar facilities in the area!
