Absolutely loved the food. Tacos were huge and stuffed with meat. Definitely will return again. The table area could have been wiped down a bit, but it didnt bother me much. Price was fair. Boyfriend got the chicharon and salsa. Meat was nice and tender and that was delicious too.I do shop here every once and a while, store is clean, organized, and things are easy to find.

Terrible social distancing! The isles are so small, and the people are not respecting each others space. Walking right next to you, and arms over your shoulders grabbing stuff above you or around you. Get with it MEXICANOS social distances is the key to get rid of Covid-19! And the menudo was to spicy too. The owners have to make changes quick on the 6-feet apart. I will not come back, they just dont get it!

They have a decent selection of basic groceries, but what makes this place truly unique is that a lot of products are imported from Mexico and some things are cheaper than the big grocery store chains. In addition, the taqueria here is hands down one of the best in the NW Indiana Region and very reasonably priced. If you like Mexican cuisine, I strongly recommend giving this place a try. Youll be supporting small local businesses and families by doing so, and you get an amazing deal for a win win.

While it is primarily a store that sells groceries to the Hispanic community it has one of the best taco stands in the area. Prices are reasonable for the food and one of the few places I know where you still can buy a Coke in a glass bottle.

My favorite grocer within my neighborhood! La Mexicana offers friendly and excellent shopping experience! I appreciate especially their poultry, beef, poultry and seafood. Indulging my appetite, by purchasing from their various mild versus hot tamales, bread assortments, and their chocolate long johns,--which are fresh daily! Lastly, I am desperately seeking,--to experience a meal from their restaurant section!

This tiny store is packed with so much. They meat is very fresh. They now have a small restaurant which has delicious authentic mexican food and the employees are very quick and helpful.

The taquería inside the store it is fast pace just stand by the cashier to place your order he will get to you fast. The food is good. The men seem more courteous than the women.

Good avocados an meat always cut to order just right. Staff always very friendly and helpful. Parking can be an issue though.

Not your typical style of dining but the eats are delicious and reason for my 4star rating. Small little dive, tucked in a corner inside a Mexican Produce/Carniceria store. Nothing fancy about this small, taco stop at all but, if you ok with that...!!Call for information to get their specialty plates such as: caldo de res, pozole, menudo, carne en su jugo. Very reasonably priced and friendly servers. La bomba!!!

The food was just ok. A burrito, with no sides, was about $6. Could have went across the street to Burger King and gotten a whole meal for about the same.
