I love this hair city location on burnside, everyone there is amazing all the girls in there will keep it 100 with you especially when you ask for their advice. Lee is really nice and seems to care about his customers more than your average beauty supply. Everyone in there is great I see no reason for disappointment.

Awesome staff I always get great attention when I go there . If they do not have what I need or want they always find me something to take with me I’ve never left empty handed

During this quarantine I wanted to do a few hair projects, so I went down to Hair City. They are adjusting to the given times and only doing curbside pickup. I pulled into the parking lot and called the store. An awesome associate grabbed all of the products I needed and brought them to the window to see if it was the right product. *I had to do some quick google searches to make sure I was asking for the right thing.*I was rung out over the phone and my products were brought to my car window by the owner (in a mask and gloves.) I’m amazed by the service I received today, and just wanted to say thanks for making it possible!

The girls are always so nice, patient, and willing to assist you without any hesitation. Love coming here!

Beware of this place! I bought $100 worth of supposedly virgin hair and the guy running the store swore I can dye and bleach it all I want, just like my own hair. After 1,5 hours of bleaching the hair havent changed even a bit of color and when I was washing off the bleach, black color ran down with water, which means the hair has been dyed before and tampered with chemically. That is not why anyone buys virgin hair that cost much more than any other type. I would not trust this place ever again.

Same old styles. Went to 2 of them in e.h. fraid wigs. Good for Holloween 👹

I needed freetress wavy faux locs 12 inches 1b. I went to 3 other stores in Hartford and 1 other store in East Hartford. Hair City on Burnside avenue was the ONLY store thatcarried it. The owner was courteous and helpful. Im definitely going back!!!

This place is filled with all kinds of hair products that you wouldnt find anywhere else but online,if you need anything for your hair youll find it here and they also sell basic jewelry like earrings and necklaces.
