This place is now my favorite ice cream place. Its as fresh as you can get and they have a lot of different add-ins. The price is also great for the amount of everything you get. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Overall great experience and will visit again.

Overrated and overpriced. I decided to give this place a try after seeing all the hype. The self ordering doesnt have the house combo ice creams so I tried to make the same ones DIY. The employees were too busy to take orders and the place was short-staffed. Paid nearly $18 for two ice creams. Mine was made 15 minutes after my friends so hers melted by the time I got mine. They had to make a new batch for mine and they must have forgotten an ingredient because it tasted like nothing.Maybe it was just bad luck but I reached out to the owner and he doesnt seem to care. I went back in the afternoon but they were closed (the door says open at 12 PM). I went back later that night at 9 PM and they were also closed.... (google says 5-10 PM). Seems like they dont have a clue what theyre doing.

This is my first time visiting this place absolutely best milk tea and rolled ice cream place I have ever been too I live about 30 minutes away and randomly found this place when I looked up places near me that sell milk tea and rolled ice cream I decided to drive all that way hoping it was worth it and Im so glad I did will definitely be visiting this place again as much as I can

Super friendly service, a zillion combinations of ice cream, add-ones, syrups. Bubble tea and other novel drinks top it off. Loved it.

Good selection of drinks with the standard toppings. Did not try any of the desserts, just ordered a couple of drinks. Only knock on it was that the boba was overcooked (to me) when we went.

I am mute but not deaf, i typed that and my order on my phone. they handled it very well. if you have communication issues, i would say this place is good with it. i got some unicorn rainbow icecream roll thing and it would heavenly. literaly delicious. i also got rose milk boba which was also delicious. i will say, the tea is very strong. that’s nothing against this place, that’s just tea in general and i don’t usually like super strong things. so if you’re looking to try new teas and you don’t like it super strong, i would recommend somewhere else or making it at home. all in all, i love this place and the prices are good.

Hand rolled ice cream with a lot of toppings to choose from. Dont be afraid to experiment because you really cant go wrong. The staff was nice and the portion was good for the price. I didnt get a chance to try any of their drinks so thatll be on my todo list next time Im there. This time though, I got the chocolate ice cream rolled with nutella and brownies topped with mango boba, strawberries and fruit loops. Finally, it was drizzled with condensed milk. It was fantastic and really hits the spot during those hot michigan summers. So delicious!!!

The people were rude and very uninterested to be there and do their job and to make matters worse their menu was confusing it showed ice and then asked if you want more or no ice and there wasnt ice in it and it tasted gross.. I would not recommend anyone to go here

The worst boba mike tea shop in East Lansing. Their kitchen looks dirty, and staff did not wash hands and wear gloves while preparing food. Charges me 4% ‘process fee’ for no reason.

Went in for bubble tea, my favorite! Unfortunately, choices were VERY limited. Got mango bubbles in an orange/mango cream. Tasted real good!

This is the second time weve visited Unicha, and even though all of the rolled ice cream combinations look delicious, I wanted something especially light and healthy-tasting, so I ordered the Matcha Lady again. It consists of green tea ice cream with specks of strawberry, Teddy Grahams, slices of strawberry, a toasted marshmallow, and condensed milk. Yum!!! The husband ordered a honeydew milk tea; while it was decent, we noticed we didnt quite love the bubble tea at this place, but we like that they have drinks as an option. We definitely will be coming back again :)!

The rolled ice cream is amazing. The staffs attention to detail is impeccable. Even when it’s really busy they courteous and kind. They have ruined regular ice cream for me.

Nice artistic idea for icecream yet not practical for bigger groups and crowds. Plan on waiting a while as it takes a while for each person to be made. Cost is high perhaps due to the labor spent into making the ice cream. Not the amount or quality. It is just like any other middle good grade flavor ice cream.

Very good and great selection. Just wish they wouldve been a little happier to be there. Didnt say hi and after telling them it was our first time, they showed no enthusiasm for my 2 and 6 year old. Also didnt help with options or explain anything.

Ever since I heard that there was a rolled ice cream placing coming to Lansing, I’ve been so excited!! There are not many good ice cream places that are as cute as Unicha, especially because they come with different flavors and toppings. I’m from California, and I’ve had a lot of rolled ice cream before, and Unicha is probably your best option if you’re craving this type of ice cream. The interior of this cafe is also very cute, lots of photo ops for your ice cream! I’m definitely coming back when I want ice cream. Love it.

The ice cream is fun and tasty, and every college student loves a good boba tea. Thats probably why its always so busy 🤣. I recommend visiting Unicha at least once if youre in Lansing.

Unicorn atmosphere is kind of cool. Service was fast for the amount of people in line. Good selection on the menu. Watching the ice cream be made was interesting. Seems like a fun place to take a date if you want to talk and get a quick treat.

This a hip little ice cream/bubble tea place with lots to choose from. Rolled ice cream is new in this area and the novelty is still fresh. Tasty, and if youre near MSU campus, check it out!

VERY small interior, but good ice cream

Went to Unicha tonight and was not impressed. The cashier was new and when I asked her about something on the menu she said she didnt know because it was her first day. The way she said it was rude and I felt like she should of asked her co-workers for help if she didnt know. Then the Thai bubble tea lacked flavor as well as the ice cream. My sister ordered mint flavored ice cream and it didnt taste like anything at all, definitely no mint. Definitely go to bubble island or ding tea if you want good bubble tea.

The staff are super helpful! They helped me work out how to make things vegan and clearly knew what they were talking about. It is a little pricey but not worse than other bubble tea places. Limited seating, but not unlike an ice cream shop. I recommend!

The best ever

I always wanted to try the rolled up ice cream because it was a cool process. Im glad I did it, but I wouldnt go back again for a few reasons. Its just ice cream- nothing fancy except for how they make it. The menu is super confusing and I felt absolutely lost trying order.Honestly if you want $12 ice cream, go an ice cream place where you will get exactly what you want.

Fiancé and I ventured here and found it to be a great experience. Customer service was super! Staff was very helpful - being this was our first time. Highly recommended if you are having that crave for ice cream, or if you enjoy bubble tea.

Friendly staff, kind of $$ and limited choices. I think their drinks have a higher tea to milk ratio but that’s just a preference of mine. Also, their shakes are very milky which is not something I like. But again thats a preference thing. I like that they have fun seasonal drinks. ++cute decor, clean bathroom.

For all the hype, its not that great. You dont get that much ice cream for what you pay for and I feel like the workers are still figuring out/honing their skills so it took quite some time to get our ice cream. They also messed up on one of my groups so they had to restart. Cool that East Lansing got a place like this because I doesnt have much else, but you might as well wait until youre in a bigger city to get something more worth the hype

The Tokyo Moment rolled ice cream is really good! The staff are really nice and patient while you are ordering. It was $7.00 and you get toppings and a syrup, and it is a lot of ice cream so it is a fair deal!

Finally got to try this place at East Lansing today! It was a super friendly store with creamy ice cream and refreshing hand made teas. Ordered a mint chocolicious was surprised me with full fresh mint flavor and Nutella, it was nothing like other ice creams I had before, and wide selection of toppings just gets me difficulties to pick them out! They also offer free float tea samples during my visit, it was amazing! I would say I am going to order the float tea next time, its highly recommended! Cant wait to go back again!

I go here everytime I visit Michigan State. The Smores combination is personally my favorite and it tastes so fresh. I will continue to come back each time. For the price you get a good amount of ice cream, perfect to share.

A new place in East Lansing to try some Real Tea!Ordered a fresh fruit tea called “Fruit Shawty” today, it came with a bunch of fruit - blueberry, mango, strawberry, grapefruit and citrus, couldn’t taste any bitterness out from the green tea and it only cost a little under $5!Also saw they hand shake every cup of their tea, the sugar amount and ice levels are adjustable. I am just a person very sensitive about pre-made stuff, because you have no idea when did they made them.My new must go place to try some refreshing tea! Highly recommended!

The ice cream was delicious, but the format it was presented in made it difficult to eat with the plastic spoons that are provided. Bring a metal spoon from home and impress your friends!

Maybe I went at a bad time, but there were only three customers in the place and it took much longer than is acceptable for bubble tea. Additionally, the bubble tea wasnt that great compared to many others I have had. I would recommend going to a different bubble tea place if you dont mind walking somewhere else.

RUN AWAY!!!!!!This place makes my sick!My mother’s boba tea that was coconut was warm and it’s not post to be cause it’s milk.And also the ice cream had no flavor!My tea was sour and your not post to put grapefruit in a drink with pineapple but the strawberries and blueberries were ok but the whole point is THAT IT WILL BE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE ME AND MY FAMILY MADE.And also there was no ac in there.All you could smell was BO.

I heard good things about this places ice cream and I tried it today. First of all, their ice cream is not something crazy, so I believe it is way overrated, and relatively expensive for what you actually get.When I got there today, it was 79 degrees outside, and it was even warmer inside. The AC or any ventilation system was either broken or off, and the place was stinking because of peoples BO. There are obviously under-staff, cause I waited like 40 minutes to have my ice cream.But something that I found really disturbing was that all the milks were sitting out of fridge! It was disgusting. That place was at least 80F and those milks were sitting outside for at least the time I was there! I think these people needs to practice basic dairy-handling-rules before running a business.

Extremely disappointed in this place. I was excited that rolled ice cream was coming to East Lansing and in the form of a small business. I visited this place on a warm Sunday, so I expected to wait in a large line. I never predicted that I would wait 45 minutes. The wait would make anyone bitter, but in the end I am glad I sat their for 45 minutes because I know I will not be going back.Below you will find the real reasons as to why Unicha will not be receiving my business:1. Customer Service (or lack of)Every small business I walk into (especially during a grand opening) offers the best customer service. They know that first impressions matter and do what they can to make customers feel like friends instead of credit cards. The staff and Unicha made no attempt at welcoming their customers, except to direct us to the one self-serve ordering station.2. Sanitary habitsAs a former food service industry member, it was quite easy to pick out what health codes were being violated. Customers paying in cash would order with a staff member. The staff members would touch the register, handle cash and continue to make ice cream with the SAME gloves. At one point, a staff member went into the bathroom to turn off the light, closed the door and went back to making ice cream with the SAME gloves. That’s putting a lot of faith in other people’s hygenic habits. The gloves weren’t even the worst part. The other one star post shows exactly what I saw. Milk sitting in a tub for over 45 minutes!!!3. Customer Service, Again!!At this point I really wanted to leave but they were getting close to my number and the hassle of asking for a refund would only cause others to wait an additional 15 minutes for their ice cream. I also wanted to give them the benefit of being a new business. They called my number, verified it was right and said nothing. I just waited 45 minutes!!!! I would think some form of “I apologize for your wait.” or “Thank you for waiting.” would come out if their mouth, but they said nothing. This was their Grand Opening!!!!4. Mediocre ice creamYes! Rolled ice cream was cool to eat, but it lacked flavor. I got the matcha lady and all I could really taste was a hint of strawberry with a side of ice.In conclusion, I really hope that the owners of this business train their staff to be customer service oriented. They’re serving ice cream for Pete’s sake!

First visit. Interesting and tasty. Lots of mix and topping choices. Serving size is large.

I have never heard of rolled ice cream, but it was very good. I hope they can expand and get a bigger building, because it was so small and so many people came in. Maybe one day theyll have the funds to do that, because from one visit I was satisfied and I hope to go again sometime.

Delicious! The Matcha (Green Tea) Icecream was super creamy and flavorful. Dont let the process fool you into thinking its like shaved ice because its far from it! Creamy, decadent icecream thats a must try. The Boba Tea ( Bubble Teas ) are also fabulous!

It was satisfying to see the ice cream being made in front of you (espically the rolling part lol) it was very yummy too ! I can say thats the best ice cream that I ever had and Totally worth the wait! But hopefully The waiting time could be shorter when I visit next time
