I always have a wonderful time here. One a year we go to MSU, and spend the night. Learning about different cultures makes life interesting, and gives you a new prospective on the world.

Great spot for a event or Wedding!

Love this cozy place! Its got a dairy store (ice-creams are the best), the Federal Credit Union, a coffe shop, a dining area, the gear shop.

Great place to get work done. Always clean and has that distinct Union smell.

Historical University, the buildings are well maintained. Very beautiful and interesting place to study and such a vast variety of subjects and opinions. The administration is very good and the counselors are amazing at explaining everything to perfectly. They will answer all the questions and make sure your happy! The students are good. There is absolutely no bullying and the whole campus is very safe and secure.Emergency service always reaches the scene within five minutes.

We made our yearly visit to the Holiday Craft Show and found some great treasures. There are a lot of artsy vendors and its always a fun time.

Stopped by here on our way through Michigan to show the kids our Alma Mater. We went to the spirit store and then to the dairy storefront. The sesquicentennial swirl ice cream had chunks of birthday cake...delicious! Highly recommend stopping by it if you are in the union. And if it is open stop by the bowling alley in the basement for a few frames!

Heavily underrated place. Late night dining hall for the students, free bowling on wednesdays, and plenty of floors and lounges to study or just chill with a couple of friends

Perfect place to study. They have a lounge for just women and that does include breast-feeding but most of the time it is empty. They have 4 levels. There are classes held there daily. There is cafeteria and an ice cream store. They just renovated it so it is really nice. They have Tvs playing games. It can get loud during game nights. Most people go there for group projects. There is a bowling alleging the basement for kids to go to but you will have to pay.

Nice place for cultural shows, gatherings. USPS drop box and MSU storr is there inside the building.

The MSU Union is located on North Campus and is used for many student activities and events. Many students do not utilize the facility because it is located away from most of the student dormitories and is not a convenient place to convene. There is a small food court on the lower floor. The main floor has many large ballrooms for meeting spaces and events. MSU Union is a nice building but rarely utilized like other University Unions.

Union is great for both events, studying, and some food. One of the two dairy stores are located in the union. Stop in for some of the best ice cream in Michigan and make sure to get a grilled cheese too! Both made with milk from MSU cows. Make sure to also get a picture with Sparty!

This a great place to hang out for MSU ice cream and bowling. Its great with friends I recommend this place.

The old building still has some of the best things and spaces housed within.. the food court I believe was better last year but food is ok, bigby is great. Outlet for MSU dairy keeps it quite busy in the spring and summer. If you cant have icecream, you should try their grilled cheese. Its comfort food for when you need it. I havent yet been to Spartans cafe but its got a small area to work with. You can get something to eat fairly quickly and late at night. The ground floor mingling areas are good for a quite conversations and socializing. I prefer to go through the building if Im looking for some fun activities to do within the week... There s always something happening. There is also MSU clothes/gears store on the ground floor (its a bit pricy for me). I prefer studying on the second floor or in the above rooms... The small art gallery spaces are nice to add vibrancy in the area. Spend time here or study, if you cant visit the main library or a cafe .. a relaxing sparty (sculpture) will give you company if you want it...

Awesome place...parking was great...we parked in the hamster ramp... it was free and then we can walk to a place to eat afterwards...

Dependable, consistent. Some of the amenities are outdated, but the food and lounging spaces are awesome. Many quiet corners.

A great place for meeting up, studying, and relaxing. The Union has many resources, from computer and printer access to a food court. The space holds many groups and events.

Loved working here on weekends but now theres no popcorn!!!! Why not? Will probably work somewhere else... International center??? Miss the womens quiet lounge. Old, older man came in to read but say and watched the girls in there. Im sure he was harmless physically and was probably just lonely but it was uncomfortable to watch. Sorry... Just so hyper sensitive right now between Nassar, human see trafficking, Kavanaugh, etc....

Its great that the MSU dairy has an outpost located in the union. Dont forget to take a picture of the newish Sparty bench statue on the 1.5 floor

Went to Biggby Coffee inside the Union building. It was very nice to get out of the cold. Lots of seating options.

We thoroughly enjoyed it. My granddaughter enjoyed it also.

Hosts great events and is VERY BENEFICIAL to those living on campus.

Getting tired if its supposed to attract todays students.

Went for a tour MSU and it was amazing I got to check out the union before going to the meeting and it looks like a great place to be.

Go Spartans! Love MSU and all but as part of the proud Falcon Lumni nation, the MSU union was a real let down. Drab bookstore, non-descript conference rooms and a corporate coffee shop. Hell, our union in college had a good friggin bar in it. As a whole, it doesnt bring much to the table. Best redeeming feature - satellite dairy store.

The newly renovated union hosts events for the sober on campus. The bowling alley in the basement has sup par lanes, on the contrary, the main floor hosts a mini Dairy Store, but still big flavors.

I might be a little partial towards the Union because I work here, but that just means I can give the inside scoop.I think this building is incredible, it has such a rich history and great architecture (that you can read all about on 2nd floor on our 40’ timeline). It’s also a great place to go and study by yourself or in groups— the fishbowl rooms on G, main lounge on G and 1st or the entire 4th floor (nobody goes there).But if you’re not into that kind of stuff (and you have a dining plan) there’s also famous Union Late Night with some fantastic options.Need some caffeine on the run? Biggby coffee.Stamps? Union Post Office.Ice cream? MSU Dairy store.Cash? ATM.Bank account? MSUFCU.We gotchu

This place use to be pretty unique. It had some pretty cool things like the bowling lanes and the billards hall. I saw Phish here at the Ballroom located here in the early 90s (yeah it was that cool). The commons area offerred a super friendly, super comfortable area for study and functioned as the perfect resting spot for people to catch a short nap or a bite to eat in between classes as our computers charged. This place WAS really unique.Now its kinda just another boring, sterile, spend-money-or-get-out, dump that has less to offer than the local ymca. The first thing that you notice you walk in is the smell. The building itself smells like a county jail. The restrooms are in disrepair, probably because their too busy doing nothing or watching girls on security cameras and frivolously calling cops.Furthermore, it employs some of the most judgemental, aggro elitist cop-calling, out of shape bigots life has to offer. Some of their staff have no problems whatsoever lying to further their agenda, whatever that may be.Clearly the magic has left the building. Was passing through on my way from one job to the next to charge my phone and catch a short nap like hundreds of other people do during the course of a week. Some out of shape butterball of a soul thats been harassing people there decided to call the police as I napped. Even the MSU PD police officer that responded to the call seemed a little confused, embarrassed and awkward about the whole situation because there was no situation.I hooe the rest of the campus hasnt turned for the worse like this dump.
