I brought my car in to get an exhaust leak I had repaired about year and a half ago. The staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. They communicated the issue thoroughly and offered me options for the repair. They did an amazing job with the repair. Recently, I developed another exhaust leak, so I brought it back to them they inspected the issue and saw that the part they replaced failed. They ended up repairing and replacing the part under warentee at no cost to me! This shop is amazing. I highly recommend them, and I will be returning in the future! Thank you!

I went to American Muffler this morning to have some advice on what to do with the exhaust of my SL 500. After a rough start Tony understood quickly what I wanted and we decided to remove the muffler. Tony weld a custom line the sound is literally night and day. Great family shop owned by great people. Will come back again for sure.

Do not let them work on classic cars, you will be very sorry, instead of using factory hangers they drilled through trunk floor for hangers, who does this kind of thing to a classic car, they also damaged my passenger door and then helped me load car onto tow dolly so I wouldnt notice damage, well they got me good, then he didnt know how to properly bleed rear disc brakes but charged me for trying smh, never again Tony never again Also after reading all the reviews, had to ask myself this must be some business with all excellent reviews . NOT, there more then likely alot of fake reviews .

I used google to help my son find a place for his exhaust and I liked the reviews. My son went down yesterday and couldn’t believe how down to earth everyone was and the price for what needed to be done was great. I highly recommend this family oriented business.

I made it to American Muffler at 4:50 pm today. Have passed this place time and again on my way to and from different places locally. Was just looking for what I was hoping to be a quick look for an exhaust leak that I had been repeatedly told didnt exist. This place was buzzing with late day activity and I was hesitant to wait out of respect for posted hours. However after being greeted by several courteous employees and assured my needs were no bother, I waited. Once Tony was free to greet me and hear my out, he promptly redirected us to my vehicle. Mind you its is drizzling and now several minutes after posted closing hours. He slides on the damp ground under my truck brielfy and long enough to determine that there is clearly a minor exhaust leak. With keys in hand Tony moved my vehicle to an open Bay in their shop and proceeded to quickly remedy the exhaust leak that was basically lazy work missed by a prior exhaust shop. Couple buzzes of his mig gun and it was closed up and quieted right down. With a smile he emerged satisfied my troubles were no longer. I have never met these fine people or had the need to venture through their doors. I couldve passed them by 100 more times but today I am thankful I did not. With a hand shake and some brief conversation, I thanked them and they bid me Fair well...until next time. I will choose when the time comes to never pass American Muffler again. Stand up business offering phenomenal customer service on the spot. I highly recommend stopping in to see what Tony and the American Muffler family can do for you and your vehicles needs. I have just installed a new Stainless Steel exhaust system in my 1970 British sports car. The exhaust was custom made for the car in England. The system needed to be adjusted for optimum ground clearance and proper fit within a very small space in the Chassis. Tony at American muffler was able to do do that for me. There are very few places that will still do quality custom work. The last system put in this car was 30 years ago by American muffler.

Came to them asking for a dual pipe setup coming off the headers out to in front of the rear tire and the bends and welds they gave me are horrendous, didnt drill or weld a nut for o2 sensor, welds are bubbled and full of air pockets, collectors werent even sealed. $500+ spent down the drain.

We have been going to American Muffler and Automotive Service for approximately 6 years. It is a Family run business. Tony and his family are truly the nicest most honest people in the world! They are all about customer service and and meticulous workmanship! They also charge prices that are totally reasonable. They never skimp on the materials used and know everything about cars . They have always figured out the problems and made the repairs needed. No job is too small and they are always there if an emergency arises. I used to do all my own automotive repairs until age and arthritis crept up on me. So when the need arose I tried American Muffler and I must say I definitely made the right choice. I highly recommend American Muffler. I have found them to be an excellent automotive shop, and not just for mufflers and exhaust systems, but also for general repair work. I first brought my ’03 Dakota there about a year ago for a muffler and tailpipe and they did an excellent job, using high quality components. Then a couple of months ago I returned to have my rotted fuel tank straps replaced and again they did an excellent job. Most recently when my rotted hydraulic brake lines burst I brought the Dakota back to have all the lines replaced and once again they did an outstanding job. I have found the entire staff to be extremely friendly and knowledgeable, very meticulous in their work, and they always give you that little bit extra, which makes all the difference between an adequate repair and an outstanding repair. I will be returning to American Muffler whenever the need arises. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Many thanks to the entire American Muffler staff. Well done everyone!!!

American Muffler is a family run operation with some amazingly talented welders on staff in addition to the super sweet and helpful people behind the desk handling inquiries. Our 2002 Accord (originally with dual exhaust) was in their shop for a good 4 days but their creative solution saved me a lot of money and I will certainly return for any and all of my families exhaust system needs in the future.Originally, we were told by our family mechanic that the entire exhaust system would need to be replaced (approx $1800) when it snapped in half just south of the catalytic converter. The family mechanic didn’t have the welders necessary for the job in addition to being short handed that week. So after procrastinating until the rear half of the exhaust got caught on a gas station driveway, crushing and wedging it in place, I had it towed to American Muffler.Good thing I did because this is exactly the kind of thing that American Muffler excels at. After a quick assessment, Tony says that the cheapest thing they can do is custom build a new exhaust system from the catalytic converter on back for $250. The front half of the exhaust system (the expensive part) was still in good enough condition!On a personal note, I had just inherited the car from my father who had passed very recently so I was completely out of sorts over it to begin with. Never the less, the car was in good hands and my trust in American Muffler was rewarded.I was blown away to the point of tears, sure I had misheard him or he had yet to add in the cost of labor but American Muffler is full of talent and pleasant surprises. After tax, they saved us over $1500 from our family mechanic’s original estimate.Thank you very much to everyone at American Muffler for saving our car and saving us money at the same time. Your kindness and professionalism will not be forgotten.

I got an oil change which i said i wanted regular oil and the mechanic said okay... next thing i know when i was paying the price was $75.98 and i was confused with why it was so expensive. They said that i needed synthetic oil in my car which is double the price. The workers didn’t even consult me about this as i know for a fact my car has been running fine for the past 10 years with regular oil. Will never be going back

Anthony and his wife are very accommodating and friendly. I showed up at American Muffler without a appointment because my 2001 Toyota 4Runner had an exhaust leak. I could hear the leak, but couldnt find it. Anthony took out his stethoscope, found the leak and cut out the rotted pipe. He then welded in new pipe and even shut my check engine light out. I am sure now that the exhaust leak was causing my engine light to keep coming on. It has been out now for 1000 miles and sounds much better. Got my Muffler delete for my Audi S4 such a amazing job best place to go to the owner Tony went out of his way to do the job passed closing time.

I went in to get an inspection with a truck that really could not pass inspection... They were very honest and told me that it would cost more than my truck is worth to fix... I used to fix cars also and I pretty much knew this already... I was ready to take a chance if the truck needed a $300.00 repair, but the truck needed more than that with a leaky exhaust manifold and bad Cat... Truck has 307,000 miles on it . He told me we can fix it for a $1000.00, but I would not do that to you because it may not Pass after we do the job... I was tempted to try to fix it, but he was honest and turned down a 1000.00 job because he knew it may not do anything to get the truck to pass inspection... This means this is a good shop and fixes things the right way ! I soon went to the auto parts store and did quick fix with an new air filter and air box repair and cleaned the mass air sensor... Went back to his shop and he was glad to shut off my ckeck engine light so that I may be able to get an inspection .... Sure enough after a few miles it came on again... Thank you for being honest and a good businessman and not charging me for your service that you knew would not be able to help me anyway....

Went in for an inspection. ...He told me that my front end was messed up when it wasnt. .Then told me that I wouldnt pass the inspection cause of itIm a mechanic but he treated me like I am an idiot...They couldnt tell me what the problem was just that there is a problem. ..Thumbs down on this place...They are scammers looking to make a buck..All there photos of cars that they worked on are just clippings from magazines. .. they are frauds
