Clean store, friendly staff with plenty of registers open at 945 a.m, however lots of empty shelves forcing you to buy in bulk vs single items because there were no single items if I needed 5 cans of whatever was forced to by a 12pk case. Meats extremely expensive, prices were alot higher than where I normally shop on every item I purchased. Only decided to go there because I hadnt been in years and was wanting a change of scenery which I enjoyed but over all empty shelves, empty freezer compartments, higher than usual prices but the restrooms were sparkling clean. Will probably be several more years before I go back. Picture I included was canned cat food isle and dog canned food isle was the same 🤨

Great store, friendly employees, clean and well organized. The only reason I did not give five stars is because every day from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 or 7:00 theres a influx of a lot of people. People coming home from work etc. With all these people you think they would open more than three registers. I usually end up having to wait about 15 minutes in line every time I shop here. They need to implement an all hands on deck policy from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 :7:30 there should be at least five registers open during this time. Otherwise no complaints.

Stocked better than most. After construction, place looks good, service is better than other options. Overall, im impressed.

This was the first time for me in this store and I really liked it. It has the feel of an old country store but with the conveniences of the new ones. The associates were very friendly and treated you as if they had known you for years. There was a surprising variety of products and the quality of their produce was great. The prices were fair and the store was very clean and well arranged. I definitely recommend checking this place out.

They have great prices and the staff is very polite. Hands down the best feature is the fact that they stay open later than anyone in this area. They dont close until midnight 7 days a week.

The cashier named Wanda the old long haired gray headed woman is the rudest cashier I have ever dealt with in my life. Make sure she gives you time to use your food Lion card or put the phone number in if you forgot your card. She will say its to late now and there is nothing she can do.

Update 7/31/20 Im proud to report that Everyone was wearing a Mask on my visit Today, Every Employee, Every Customer, Even One Employee who wasnt last time I was there off duty wearing a Mask. I was so Happy to see This Time Wearing a Mask, We even spoke while both shopping.So Happy to see this because this Young Lady lives 3doors down in my 4unit building. Shes not only my Neighbor but Also My Friend. Ive seen Her have a Child and Ive Proudly Seen Her Child Grow. Weve been Neighbors for 5yrs or so. Im Not changing the review I just updated on because Everyone Needs to Realize This Virus Is REAL!!! Previous 1 Star Review....In this time of Covid 19 and the Surge in Hamilton County I must evaluate each business on how their responding. Food Loin Does NOT Require a Mask to Enter as Walmart Does(Thankyou Walmart). Food Loin does require employees to wear a Mask, However I was Shocked yesterday evening to see a shift leader come in with her dad and her infant child not wearing Masks to shop. Everyone else I seen in the store was wearing Masks.Then Today at the Dollar Tree where the sign on the door Clearly States You Must have Mask On to enter. Another Food Lion Employee not Wearing a Mask. Both instances Show Total Disrespect Not Only for Food Lion but the General public, also for the requirements oF Dollar Tree. Everyone was looking at her, probably wanting to say something as I was. Every Customer and employeeHad a Mask On Not Just to Protect Ourselves but Others.t Both of these Young Ladies Would probably Not show any major symptoms if they get the Virus but they should think about Others. Over 500 Thousand New Cases in the U.S this week. I Know I Will NOT Be Shopping at Food Lion Any Time Soon. Been going there for near 25yrs, We All Must Give Up the Past and Change how We Are in Public if We Are to have Any Future At All.

Last week was the first time I shopped at Food Lion and I decided that I liked the store. I have Celiac disease and must follow a gluten free diet. What amazed me was the selection of gluten free products in their special section and many more scattered throughout the store. I used to cook almost everything from scratch but dont always feel like doing that anymore. Understandably, Food Lion was my answer to my problem. Im happy with my little discovery. Last but not least. The staff was most helpful and super friendly.!

Nothing special. In the past, I chose to shop there for certain items that I couldnt find anywhere else. But, now that they no longer carry those items, I have no reason to shop there. Id gladly do my grocery shopping at Publix or even a neighborhood Walmart over Food Lion

I went in for the sodas they had on sale ( this is the first day of the Sale) their selection has gone Way down hill. They used to have a good variety. They do if you are buying Coke products but not Pepsi. There were a few other items they had on sale and theres a hole where the item should be. They dont seem to keep the store well stocked. The cashier was nice and very friendly. The store was clean and they cleaned the belt before I put my items down which was good. Overall its pretty good but they really need to work on selection and stock

Wasnt impressed. Had to do last minute pick ups for Christmas dinner. Employees were rude....so much so. Ill never go back. No matter how bad I need something. Theyre prices are also high compared to even items at Publix.

Not a bad selection of meats but was disappointed to see that on the second day of the weekly sale not one pork butt was to be found. At one entrance there was no sanitizing wipes....glad I had mine with me. Overall the store is clean and has a pretty good selection of every thing especially produce.

They moved all the Food Lion from Chattanooga but one.I live on the other side of the world so I dont get to shop there like I use.I did go the other day and I enjoyed shopping with my sister ☺️.We both said we missed Food Lion 💯

Edit March 2021 -- Usually not busy... so something a quick in and out if there are enough registers open. Not the best prices! and the weekly deals are just OK. Not very friendly employees! They will straight up look you in eyes and ignore you.

Great store to pop in to get your groceries especially if you dont want to go into a huge Walmart and walk around for a couple hours. One weird thing I have noticed is that their bananas dont last long at all like 4 days tops. Walmarts last at least a week.

The pork chop had a sour smell.

Food lion has products that WM and FC dont have. I always check their marked down items, and can usually find some yummy deals. Taped bananas are the best. Dead ripe & ready to eat. Hate crunchy&green bananas!

People are nice, the store is clean. Prices can be high (so know your products). Produce is fresher and better quality than a few months ago, but still needs improvement.

Good customer service, easy to locate items, clean and spacious aisles. Grocery store with weekly and daily sales.Most name brand items and some specialty items. Small deli section for fresh breads, deli meats, cheeses, etc. Also their is a small floral area for gift giving plants, flowers, etc.Large and convenient parking area. Handicap parking and entrance. This grocery store is in close proximity to other shops, gas stations, and restaurants.

Have never had a negative experience here. Cashiers are the best around, always courteous and helpful if needed and speedy checkouts. Grocery prices are fair too. Check them out...

They didnt have a wife variety of creamers . Only one type if sugar free creamer. Selections on everything seems to be low. Shelves needed to be stocked. And they were not busy either.
