Some of the best service I have received in a long time. I have been looking for a new engagement ring for a while as mine sadly got lost. The associate named Taylor was very sweet and willing to work with my price range unlike a lot of jewelry stores who push more expensive rings on to you. She seemed to not just care about the sale but cared about what was going to make me the happiest and even willing to have me look online and if I see a ring that I want to look at first before buying, she would go out of her way to get in for the store for me to even just to take a look at. I brought my daughter in at the time who is a huge fan of Disney and also made my daughters day to try on their Disney rings just for fun. They seem to honestly care about their customers and make it a great experience!
Went to the store and it was closed and needed someone to look at my ring because I knew they was something wrong with it. I went to another jewelry store where they inspected my ring and showed me 3 prong cracks on the screen. Went to Zales the next day and the salesperson told me nothing was wrong with it! My middle stone moves and prongs are cracked. How is that not an issue? I said the heck with it and went back to the jewelry store that originally looked at it. With a second opinion and a second set of eyes, they saw the cracks as well and told me my center stone could’ve fallen out at anytime. So happy I went to a different place!!
HORRIBLE!!! 2 years ago I got an engagement ring, horrible service then & every visit since. Bought the matching wedding band in Jan, it came back the wrong size, sent back to fix then COVID hit. no customer service available to locate my ring, track the order, store is closed! I have no ring for my wedding and don’t know when I’ll get it. Very angry!
Was told on Wednesday 9/30 that ring was ready to be picked up and would be open on Saturday. Drove an hour to get to store on Saturday 10/3 and it closed. Sign says closed until 10/6. How can you run a business when it is closed????????
Staff was way morre friendly and understanding than the Chicago location. Was willing to sit down and work with me.
Called to see if this location was open since the one in my town closed permanently due to covid, the lady said yes they are open all weekend until 6. I drove 2 hours to bring my rings in to be sized, and they were CLOSED!
The woman, Dawn, who took care of us was stellar. Unlike all the other shops, she didnt continue showing us things which were twice our price range. She also didnt question my experience or desire to inspect the stones in more detail than the average client. Instead of being given a condescending response, she was more than happy to provide a loop (basically a jewelers specialty magnifying glass) and also load them into a video microscope for even more precise viewing.I will come back through and update this after experiences with the cleaning/maintenance, longevity, and dealing with the warranty plan. Im brutally honest as can be seen with my other reviews, and I do actually come back and update if things go sour.Speaking of which, their protection plans do have a diamond bond which covers the main stone. Most firms dont provide any protection for the center stone, so if it is lost you have to replace at your own cost even if you paid for and followed their plan. The only gripe I could think of is that they need to refinish or replace their wood surfaces in the store. Theyre getting worn, and it really does not match the professionalism of the associates nor the quality of their products. Aside from that, go see Dawn and she will make your special time together all the more enjoyable!
Love my ring- no gripes. However, I got my ring sized and called to get an update on the status and was just treated awfully. Emily helped me and just directed me to the estimate time on my slip. Do they really not have a system to check the status or can they just act like they care? Just flat out rude.
Bought a bracelet for my fiance for christmas. She wore it 2 days and it wont stay closed now. Zales wont respond to my emails asking for a replacement or fix. Customer service was terrible as well. One lady treated me like i was stupid and the guy didnt know what he was doing at all. Never again will i buy something from zales!
Bought a titanium carbide mens ring, still perfectly in tact. Very pleased with my ring, Keep up the good work.
Horrible policys. Their ring cleaner knocked out one of the smaller diamonds and I had to pay for it and wait almost a month and a half to get it back. You can only check on your ring if the same person that helped you is working. Now not more than a month from when we got the ring back a different diamond fell out. I cant wait to go back and deal with the excellent staff again!
Great customer service.
Bought a bracelet, lasted 1 day before it broke. Emailed company multiple times with no response. Staff was rude at the store. Never ever again will we buy something from zales!!
I hope they go out of business!!! Worst experience Ive ever had. Bought an engagement ring and in the six months we have had it she has only worn it around two months due to the malfunctions of the ring and horrible service. Had diamonds fall out four times. Once while in the store. The manager apologized unemotional and said they would send it in. I said well we just got it back two weeks ago for the same damn thing so what are you going to do? She didnt say anything. I said maybe we should get it expedited. Ya no kidding!!!! She then proceeded to tell me she would waive the fee to expedite it as if it were her doing me the favor. But wait theres more!!!!...Got it back two weeks later (normally its three thanks for expediting it lol not) and the band was broken!!!!! Say what. Back to back broke the damn ring. Brought it back in the same God damn day. Had the audacity to say the ring must be loose on the finger so thats why it did it. Seriously!? It came from you that way you dumb #@&$!. Tried that super awesome expediting service again. Said when it gets back we went a different ring. Obviously cant get the money back for the crap. Two hours into trying to get a new ring finally got it all squared away. They were rude and sighed constantly while my fiance and I were there. It had to be exact exchange, which was only possible due to the managers gracious hand of letting us do that outside of sixty days. Could only exchange for exact amount and only got diamond jewelry. Too bad everything is on sale cuz nobody wants to spend thousands of dollars on crap. Found what we wanted but it was sixty buck bucks short of exact amount. Asked about a gift card. No way jose. We cant do that. Worst place ever. Most staff knows nothing about the jewelry they just stand there and grab the one you want to see. Repeat themselves constantly and after about fifteen minutes they lose interest. I find it hard to imagine all zales are this way as they would be broke.
Customer service sucks and the people who work here are so stuck up and rude.
The rings are all made of metal :/
