Love this place! I cant remember her name specifically, but on my receipt its displayed as AAR and she is absolutely fantastic! LOVED working with her with my items... This morning I am super upset I have always shopped at this location I have never had a problem! Until this last week when me and my husband had to return several audio equipment that we were sold that never worked!.. then I found a really awesome Xbox that I purchased Saturday evening! I set it up to play it Sunday The system turned on however does not read discs! I contacted Dave this morning with my concern because I notice he had the same exact system on the shelf he tried to tell me I had to pay an extra $150 after he just sold me a broken system! I was very polite this morning when talking to him letting him know that I had the receipt considering we love going there to check for deals well this morning I think I will not be shopping there anymore after today! Which is super unfortunate because we planned on Purchasing throughout the holidays!! This morning when I expressed my concerns to Dave he was very unprofessional! He began to project his voice at me in a very disrespectful manner. We were guaranteed that the system had absolutely nothing wrong with it! Now I have to explain to my 15-year-old disabled son why I have to run and return it because they are not willing to give us some of the money back so that we can repair the disk Drive or give us an even swap!!.. on the system they already have! Super unfortunate circumstance but I believe they just lost two customers today.

On my first time visiting this store, I was met with one of the best shopping experiences in years. The store is noticeably clean and well organized. The staff greeted me and were very attentive to what I was looking for; all with having a fantastic, welcoming attitude. They even went as far as giving me an unprompted price reduction! WHAT?!?!I will be back and you should too! This place is great.

When I pawned something about a month ago the guy was great! Very nice and helpful. The guy that was there yesterday was completely rude and had an attitude when I wanted to pick my stuff up and basically told me I was a bad customer. Kinda disappointed I dont thinknwe will be doing anymore business there

Nice place when you walk in to the main room. Great guitar selection, nice now and gin counter, friendly staff...the front room before the main entrance makes it look a bit dumpier from the outside, I thought I was walking in to a crappy old pawn shop...but the main room is quite nice.

Nice clean lawn shop. They often have decent prices but like all pawn shops you should be aware of the prices for what your looking at as they would be sold new.They often have harbor freight tools priced higher then they are brand new at the store. Sometimes 3 times higher. $80 for a cheap torque wrench that costs $20 new. That is outrageous. But other things are good prices.Just know what your looking for. And you can find a good deal.

This was my first time going to a pawn shop for anything, and it was a really interesting experience. I am glad that I chose this one to go to. Why did I go? I had a really cool robot camera that I purchased a few years back and never used, mostly because I just didnt take the time. This week I have been on a mission to get rid of things others can enjoy that I do not use so I can give a bit extra for my churchs tithing weekend, so...here we are.The sale: Its understandable how reselling electronics is never going to net you what you paid for it. I went into the shop with a hopeful soft number in my head and after they checked it out, they offered me a price. It was more than what Id felt I might get. So, I feel fortunate that with a realistic understanding and expectations, I was able to get a fair deal.ADDITIONALLY--and equally important--the staff was incredible nice. The gentleman who primarily helped me was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. So, while I may not have a lot of needs for a pawn shop in the future, if I do need one, this is the one. No need to look further.

What a horrid place. I visited the business in hopes of selling my watch. Buyers and seller beware. I presented the pawn cleck my Tag, was 4000.00 automatic watch when it was new. He started off talking down to me and calling me a lair. Before even really looking at my watch, he started callIng it a fake. And proceeded to tell me he been in the business for years. At one point he started shaking the watch. He asked, why can I hear it... I had to advise him that automatic watches make sounds when you shake them. This guy is suppose to the the expect per him. I advised him the the watch has a serial number and its checkable on the Tag website. He didnt even know how to find the serial number (on the back) nor know how to find the model number on the back and face of the watch. I had to tell and show him again. All along calling it a fake and counterfiet. Thought out the entire exchange he was rude and disrespectful. I guess sometimes peoples pride and ego get in the way of custumer service or just being a kind human being. After looking it up on his computer, he advised he would give me a loan on the watch. First, I was looking to sell, next if the expert continually called it a counterfeit, how could he do that? Counterfeits are illegal to sell or have. You may have replicas, not counterfeit items. I feel he was trying to bully and steal from me. So, know your stuff, its obvious the person will be rude and belittle you and your property to make a buck. Buyer and seller beware. There are a great may other places that will treat you with respect.

Ive been to other shops,this store store is very well kept up.maybe the other shop in town should clean up a little bit. My big question is delivery, is if offered?I want to buy a riding mower.Can payment be made online?

The guys are very helpful and have great customer service, (not to mention they always look their best, not that it matters....) If your in need for quick cash, I totally recommend National Pawn. Extremely low interest with just a $5 interest fee on top of the loan if you pay back in the same week. They have a very organized shop with lots of good finds that wont break your bank. Definitely worth checking out!

I have had NOTHING BUT the BEST experience with this shop. I have been dealing with them for years. The staff is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. I am treated with the UTMOST RESPECT!!! I watched them handle a customer who apparently did not make payments on time. They did everything they could to make sure the customer got her stuff back and did it with out getting upset even though they were being basically yelled at. It was great to see that in this kind of work, professionalism is still top! I’ve been in this shop a few times now. Clean, fair prices and a great autmosphere. Stop down and check these guys out! Best shop in town. Easy.

I was really impressed at their display of rings and the amount they were selling them for. My boyfriend and I each purchased a ring from them and are so thrilled with our purchases!! We got the rings appraised and they are worth more than double what we paid. This pawn shop has a family like feel to it which makes it that much more fun to buy from because you do not feel like you are getting jipped. We will for sure be back again! Highly, HIGHLY recommend.

They have a better selection of quality used instruments than any other pawn shop in Eau Claire. They have them inspected and set up before hanging them up. Its not uncommon to see American made Fender, Rickenbacker and Martin guitars and basses for sale there. They run a 20% sale on all musical instruments and other things around Christmas. Ive purchased some high quality amplifiers there as well. One of which was a flawless Mesa triple rec that I paid $800 for. If youre looking for guitars and amplifiers, check out National Pawn, Pedals Music, and Speed of sound. In my opinion, anywhere else is a waste of time in Eau Claire.- Jon Fields

Was visiting Eau Claire area from across the state & ran into a bit of an unplanned financial emergency. Went in based on high reviews and was given top dollar for my canon lens which I returned 2 weeks later to pick up. The 2 gentlemen that helped me each time were extremely helpful, efficient and courteous. True pros in the pawn world no doubt! I look forward to buying from them as well as they seemed to have great quality things at very reasonable prices in a very clean, modern store. Highly recommend National Pawn. Look no further. Just wish they were open a bit later like the others in town.

In my opinion, this pawn shop is in the top 2 for the city of Eau Claire. Always has good quality products for low prices, and is always willing to test products that your looking to buy right in front of you. Ive never sold anything to them, so I dont have anything to review about their offers; but they seem to buy mostly newer or higher quality items, so I would assume their offers would be reasonable. My two favorite aspects of this pawn shop in comparison to others would be•They have a lay-away system that requires only 20% down on day 1, and allows (usually) 30 days to pay it off, though I have overheard offers of higher quantities time for more expensive items.• They almost never have to be asked for their lowest possible price (below marked price on tag), they usually tell you as low as they can go, without requiring you to be a skilled bartererDefinitely among the first of the pawn shops that I suggest to people when asked.**UPDATE**Since writing my original review, I have sold- as well as pawned- many items here, and they always seem to offer me top dollar, as far as pawn shops go in Eau Claire.

Very rude on the phone when i called to ask about an item for sale. I was told he was to busy doing paperwork to help me that i should come in and shop. I came in at 6:50pm to purchase an item and was told at the door they are closing in 2 minutes that i can’t purchase anything to come back. Very rude and very poor customer service! They lost a big sale because of this. I do not recommend this pawn shop to anyone.

Went in just to look around and while I was there had nothing but great communication and service was very nice I am very pleased with my experience and highly recommend stopping by even if not sure what you are looking for might just be surprised with what you find at great prices and very pleasing service.

No knowledge on music gear, I brought in a power amp and mixer for a band, and they said they didn’t want it,because bands don’t use that anymore, they use a laptop and a small box. What the heck are they talkin about. So all you musicians in bands according to them all you need for sound system is a laptop and some small box. Like I said those young guys over there have no knowledge and should not be workin there.

Prices are outrageous on most everything. 150.00 for a heavily used and abused DeWalt drill/impact set? Farm and fleet had them on sale 2 weeks ago for the same price. Harbor freight welder priced for more than you can buy it brand new? 80.00 for a 32 TV??? 89.00 at Shopko on sale!!! I used to love this store because of the good prices, but that was when Matt was manager, this new guy just seems to be taking over where Pawn America left off, and look what happened to them!!!

Stopped by to look at bike. $777.77. (odd price). It has many upgrades yet after checking online it’s only worth $500, $530 is a stretch. Also looked at a Bostitch pancake air compressor fo $95.95. (another odd price). Most places that sell them in EC, want $102 NEW. It seems stuff is overpriced here.

Not impressed with the pricing for a pawnshop. Looked at a longboard they had priced at $150. Looked it up and new and it was 149.99, same exact set up. The one in the shop was used hard.

Out of all the pawn shops in Eau Claire this is the place i come all the time..They are so nice and they take care of you when you walk in. weather its to pawn something or just buying something in the store. They are always there to help you out!

I stood by the guitar counter for a hour. No one helped me. Yet a guy was at the gun counter with a customer chatting about hunting stories the whole time. Lost my business, and I will let others know. Terrible way to treat a customer who was ready to buy.

They have there friends and family rate this place. They give you next to nothing only about 30% of the value of the things your pawning. Pawn America at least gives you 50%.

They can be very rude and will not give you alot when you bring stuff in for pawn. Pawn america has always given me more for my stuff than they would have. Everytime i go to national pawn i end up walking out and goin to pawn america because they price thing rediculously low.
