Edit: The problem was “fixed” 2 months later and my windshield leaks now when I go through the car wash… recommend getting a lawyer before ever dealing with these CLOWNS! I certainly will be contacting one. The damage they did to my car is unbelievable.Original post: Had a small crack in my windshield that was supposed to be repaired. They failed miserably and I was forced to get the windshield replaced as they wouldn’t refund my money for the bad job, only apply the amount I paid to an even more expensive replacement. Fast forward to my replacement HACK JOB where you can clearly see the putty or whatever they used and my windshield is no longer flush. Did I mention they charged me for windshield wipers they never put on? Going in tomorrow to deal with this. Can I give 0 stars?

Got there for my appointment to have my drivers and passenger windows replaced after they were smashed out. They got my car in right away. Told me it would be an hour and half to 2 hours. I was out of there within an hour. They did a amazing job. Will go back if needed in the future.
They broke my antenna on the glass installation. Came back to fix it a week later and forgot the part. Came back the same day and couldnt figure it out. Had someone else come and fix it a few days later. He fixed it but there was trim pieces not clipped in and door seals hanging. Normally Im pretty laid back and understand that things happen when your fixing things, but this is a little much.

I needed my windshield replaced. I received a text letting me know the tech was on his way, with his picture and name! I had Evan, he called me when he was in the parking lot to ensure he was going to the correct car. He told me he would complete the work and then call to let me know. Not only did he follow through on his exact words, but he also took the time to peel of my State Parks sticker and place it on my new windshield! I had taken pictures and was ready to beg the State Park System for a replacement because I JUST got it. But Evan went above and beyond and made sure it was moved. Thank you!
The tech lose the parking permit tag on my old glass which I specificly asked he to keep.

Great shop, Wayne and his team are really good to work with. They have the facility, tools, and team to get you in and out quickly regardless of the time of the year.... and they can do system recalibration for sensors and cameras right in their shop which is great, no second trip to the dealership or additional costs. Highly recommend Safelite!

Went in just for a couple questions, and a quote, and not only did they answer them, they handled all the insurance parts, and pulled my truck in and repaired immediately..
Warranty work completed for a rear view mirror that fell off. Would have rated higher if they had a human being to answer the phone and I didnt have to go online to schedule service simply so the national call center could call me back and then have the local store also call. Not convenient for me and a bit of a hassle. Service had to be rescheduled to complete. Both technicians were polite and very apologetic.
They were awesome, had an issue with my drivers side window, which they resolved and now it works like new.

They replaced my rear passenger window, I told them they didn’t need to put my panel or anything back together and that I would do it. They called and said the truck was ready for pick up, I showed up and they put the door panel and everything back together and even rinsed all the salt off my truck these guys are great! 100% recommend them!
This is now the 4th time using Safelite for our Auto-Windshield repairs. ( 3 separate cars) I was so shocked at the poor reviews as I have experienced only truly outstanding, timely, courteous service. Also the fee charged is very comparable and affordable. At our appointment just today the service technician finished a bit earlier than expected he washed our car mats ( we had a lot of snow lately). We were thrilled. I had a trip planned the next day, but had a shattered my rear windshield the night before. There were no appointment slots available the day I needed to get the repair done, but after speaking with the manager on the phone they offered to fit my car in between other appointments. They saved my trip and made my day. Very accommodating!

Scheduling mixups, bad wind noise after the first windshield installed, difficulty rescheduling, and now the second windshield not sealed properly on my Honda Ridgeline. I run my hand over bottom of windshield and you can easily feel the distortion. I solved the wind noise with Duct tape this morning but I dread having to deal with their scheduling system again. Near impossible to talk to the local shop because of their answering system. Bad quality work and terrible customer service. Im going o give them a chance to make this right...but the time and effort is a pain in the butt.

I was there not too long ago for windshield replacement. The technician was polite. The replacement can take about 1.5 hr so plan ahead. Free wifi, coffee and snacks. Small waiting area with a TV. Clean place.The replacement was done on time and it looks great.

I had a mix up on my appointment times and they were able to squeeze me in 1 week early for a full windshield repair. I had a softball damage my windshield and they were able to over night the glass to replace it the next day for me. The staff, Elizabeth and Bruce, were very helpful and kind. They made sure to call me back like they said they would to keep me up to date on my appointment.The Safelite 1-800 # // call center made my appointment for the wrong day. When I showed up for my appointment, I wasnt on the schedule and they felt bad, but did everything they knew or could to service mine within the 2 days.I would recommend seeing them for any auto glass repair/replacements!
Started with a quote online for replacing my windshield after a rock cracked it. I scheduled my appointment and when I got there I was told it would take 1-1.5 hours. Got a call an hour later saying it was ready for pickup. They charged me for the price I was quoted for and did a great job. Staff was very friendly and they also washed all my other windows so that was a plus! Would definitely go back to this location!

I called for an appointment and was stuck waiting for someone to answer the phone so while I was on hold I tried to schedule online. This was going well until I got the page for insurance coverage. It will only let you submit a new claim. This is an issue because I already called my insurance agent and got a claim number. Guess what, the site does not have a spot to enter a claim number. At this point I am still on hold so I tried the online chat feature and advised of the claim entry issue. I was told I should call the main phone number. Yes, the same number I was already on hold with. Needless to say I went somewhere else to get a new windshield. I hate to leave a bad review for this location because I never actually got to use this location but there is no way to call this store directly.
I had an auto glass claim from my insurance and was quoted an 8am-12pm window to do the repair. The initial tech told me 1:30 latest to get to it. I had set up my schedule to do 8-12 not 8-1:30. I told him that was not acceptable and why did it change? He didnt know but it was changed to 8-5 appointment without contacting me yesterday. Then I called my insurance who spoke to their managers and they still couldnt get to it until after 12. 30 minutes on the phone later and I still cant get my appointment time. I decided to cancel the appointment but now I am 45 minutes behind on everything because I was on the phone waiting for a new schedule. This is not acceptable because whoever the dispatch/scheduler is should understand not overbook and shouldve scheduled it differently. Overall not worth my time as I had to still cancel the appointment and now I have to go back home and go to another autoglass dealer to get this fixed.Would not recommend this business if they cant even hire the right people to do their jobs or get to their appointments on time even with 24 hours notice.
I have used Safelite for numerous years now and have replaced at least 6 windshields...have always had great results...except this time. I have a vehicle with adaptive cruise control and part of a glass replacement is to recalibrate the sensors so it works properly. I have had my Toureg in the Eden Prairie location which supposedly does the recalibration on-site 2-times. Mind you everything was working when I brought it in (except for the broken windshield) but when I received the vehicle back the cruise control worked for a week and then quit working. I brought it back in and they said that they needed to replace the new windshield with the OEM glass because of the bracket. I said fine and brought it back in a week later....after sitting in their shop for 5+ hours waiting they finally said they were done but had trouble recalibrating but thought they had it. Well...they did and they didnt because the adaptive cruise worked but it took me a few days for my wife to tell me her that her lane depature was now not working. Subsequently I just had her Toureg in the dealership for an oil changed so I asked them to check as to why the lane-departure was not working. They said a recalibration is $600.00 and that I needed to go back to Safelite to remedy the situation. Ok...so I stopped back in the EP shop and one of the techs basically told me its not their problem anymore and I need to go back to my insurance company to have them pay the $600 to go back to the dealership and have them fix it. He eluded to the fact that maybe their software was out of date and thats why things arent working. Well.....if your techs arent sure whether they have functioning software...they shouldnt be working on customers vehicles especially dealing with adaptive cruise control where if something goes wrong a wreck could occur. At minimum I would expect that everything functions as it did when I brought my vehicle in. But more so, my insurance company has already paid them for the recalibration which they have not completed since it isnt functioning like it should. But they expect me to go and have my insurance company pay for it again. I will be giving my insurance company a full debrief on this so they understand the situation. This will be my last windshield replaced by Safelite which is a bummer because they have always done good by me, but to have someone who should obviously not be dealing with customers tell me its not his problem anymore is the reason companies lose customers. I will go back to the dealership to have this done the right way but will not promote Safelite in the future.*************************************Follow-up to this reviewI contacted my insurance company and they said they had reached out to this location and were told that they would take care of the recalibration and I should bring it back so either they would take care of it, or coordinate it with VW to finally resolve this issue.I did go back and once again was told...ummm we cant help you as well as we are not sure how you can get it fixed.In most cases companies that deal with difficult situations and provide the customer a satisfactory outcome will save those customers. Companies that give up and abandon the customers are the ones that lose in the end. I am just one person, but if we as consumers keep businesses accountable to how they are handling their customers it will only make our market place better.At this point I will not go back to Safelite because there are many others out there that will get a shot at my business in the future.

Lifetime warranty is working good .after my windshield was installed in Minneapolis leaks really hard and shop in Tennessee replaced my window but damaged body and now that spot rusty and lied to my about that window is ice defroster like it was originally.
I scheduled my windshield replacement appointment online, the staff was ready when I arrived, they honored my credit from an earlier repair, and the workmanship looks good. Overall, an excellent experience - definitely recommend this location.

Made an appointment between 12-5 for them to come to me so I could work from home. Guy never showed. Only messages I got were to confirm the appointment. No other messages were sent and if the guy did call he didn’t leave a voicemai so I assumed it was just another scam call. When I called to find out where the guy was they said he was in his way home already. Decided to go to a company that actually wants my business.

Progressive preferred for my class claim. They have WiFi in the waiting room! As well as a Keurig machine and boiling out cold water...I have a Saturn Ion which has plastic bushing on the wiper mount which broke this winter. I was trying to replace the mount but needed a press... They took them off for me. They said that they do not touch them bc they will break every time. Good to know they are aware of this also. Saved me a trip to home depot
