This place is good for Indian groceries they have lot of ready to eat Indian food options to choose from.Also readymade dosa,idly batter and chapatis are available.They have halal meat.Also inside this grove store there is a small snack restaurant I love their vada. The checkout counter can be a bit crowded during weekends and peak hours.Overall a good place.

Its my favorite Indian store in the Edina/ Eden Prarie area. They have almost all Indian groceries available and a small eatery attached to the shop. The eatery has a wide variety of food items and especially this is the only one place that I know sells freshly prepared south Indian evening snacks like mysore bonda, egg puffs etc. also, the food items are reasonably priced and sufficient in quantity unlike many other Indian restaurants.

Most unprofessional indian grocery, restaurant and meat market store in Minneapolis. There is no communication between butcher and the billing guy. I ordered chicken thigh meat and billing guy said to wait for 40 min. i waited for 40 minutes and later once its my turn he says he don’t have the meat . 40 minutes after waiting, Butcher says someone ordered through phone in the morning and the meat is out of stock . Then why there is no communication between butcher and billing guy.Same thing happened in the restaurant as well, no communication between chef and billing guy, all the orders get misplaced. Worst management!!!

Huge place for Indian grocery. They have meat shop and café too.. Dosa with Sambar is my all time favorite. They did add Tandoori to the menu recently. Fish Tandoori is my new favorite now

My favorite store for organic things, bakery, ice creams and sauces ❤️ I find everything I want. Nice and clean very well managed and helpful employees. I really like the atmosphere here.

Everything expensive. They have increased prices for everything flat by 25%. Pooja grocers sale 5 liter sunflower oil for $15, purnand sales for $16, this store sale for $20. Pooja grocers sale Sujata gold aata 20lb for $17, this store sales for $22. Just few examples.

A ridiculously extensive selection of artisanal cheeses. Always fun to try a recommendation from one of the very knowledgeable staff even if you have your favorites!The fruit selection is excellent.

It is about the service and not the food because I never got to taste the food 😞.I placed an order online and when I went to pick up at the time their website told me to go do so, they did not even know I had an order. They asked me to wait another 30 mins. It’s not like the place was busy or anything.They did not apologize for missing my order completely and when I asked how they missed it, I was told the guy working there that he was not at the counter when my order came on.I was put off by their extremely bad service.

Its a great place for Indian grocery and Indian food (restaurant). They also sell Halal Meat. The store has a restaurant with casual dine-in option. They serve some really delicious Indian snacks! Also, their South Indian tiffin dishes such as Dosa, Idly, Vada etc are mind blowing! The evening snacks start around 5 PM. I would highly recommend their Medu Vada and Masala Dosa! The Biryani is good as well.The restaurant needs to take care of the dine-in table cleanliness a bit more seriously. But overall its a highly recommended place.

We ordered egg puff, mutton biryani and then a glass of sugar cane juice. The quantities are decent as you can see in the photos above. They have varieties of Ice Cream flavors including my favorite butterscotch. Overall experience was good. I’d give 3 out of 5 for the biryani. Egg puff was ok and sugar cane juice was good.

Very Huge place for all Indian Items from Veggies to Meat and sweets to Snacks.Clean and Hygenic. Huge variety of items. But adding more people at work helps to make the work faster for customers. We have waited for meat on a week day for 20 mins.Still worth 5*

Vegetables were fresh in the beginning but I see a lot of dried out vegetables now. Biryani and other food items in the food section are good.Update - All the breakfast items are really good. They are quite good when compared to many restaurants that were in the business from long ago. Its now almost a hangout spot for me and my friends. I liked the biryani and fried rice too. Never tried ice creams.

This place is BS in terms of service. You can waste all time in this world at this place easily because employees don’t know how to WORK at all. Stupidest place I’ve ever seen in entire USA.All future customers try India Spice House just across the street.I wish I had power to shut down businesses. This store would easily make to the top.

My rava dosa took one hour to arrive. We were planning to eat it at the table and not takeaway. When it finally did arrive it came in boxes even though we specifically said that we were eating at the tables and not takeaway. Pls fix this problem in the future.

Worst experience ever. We ordered the food and when the food came, it was not complete order, some items were missing. Then we wanted to order the dosa so I went back to order it. I was in the line waiting to order the food and the lady on the counter left to get something and she only came after 10 mins. Then she took one order and again she left the counter. This time she did not come for almost 15 mins. I finally left the line and had to leave. Their sitting arrangement is so good but the position of the tv is not proper. This is the experience only in the cafe. This place needs lot of improvement. They should learn a service from other Indian places. Please do not go there.

The store is much bigger than others. They also have authentic south indian food for such reasonable price without lacking the taste or quality. Much better than most of them out there. Hope they will continue doing this. Only disappointment is no price tag for most of the products and food delivery delays. If they just fix that, will be really great.

A new store and it has all the shines and glitters of it. This place might be little tricky to spot on a Google map as you got to be careful in not missing the right turn that’s almost difficult to spot. The store has a lot of items to find from, right from different rice types, pulses, veggies, pickles, mixes, masalas and pooja items.I’m not a non-vegetarian so I can’t comment on the meat shop that’s inside. But the restaurant is pretty nominal on pricing and their points system at the checkout is a pretty cool one to bring back repeated customers.

They posted that they open at 10am, however they do not open at that time, they follow indian culture of opening when they feel like it, so do not show up at 10 am and expect to get in. You may be waiting for a long time! Also when you do finally get in, they will most likely be out of stock for what you need.

Specifically for indians lots of common items are available. But collection range wise I think some more can be arranged. Price tags are mostly missing these days which will create problem for you to decide. Halal chicken and mutton are available, and quality wise they are good.I feel few items are over priced as not all items are imported from India, bangladesh or pakistan. Those items can better be bought from Walmart, costco etc.

Regular Indian store with long wait time. How ever you can get most of the Indian products and Indian veggies.The Butcher shop sells Goat and chicken + plus country chicken. The deli serves good food and costs is cheaper that other Indian restaurant. Good place for snacking.

Very bad service, most of the times have to wait at the checkout counter. Store is messy items are not at properly arranged. Some of the items in frozen section are old and the seals are open. Vegetables are fresh and better compared to other Indian stores in the area.They have a small cafe, evenings snacks like Samosa, puffs, pakoda, bonda are good but main course items likes curries are not worth it. The dine section is not mainted properly, I recommend to go. Dosa is good option here.

The curry leaves are kept in the counter the guy charged twice upon request for 4 curry leaves packets (we are driving from Bloomington in twice occasion we have to go to a different store and buy it ) Placed in the cash counter. He might be forgetting that but for us it loss of money and time. The store is great otherwise.

Every week fresh vegetables are available at this store. Lots of Indian snacks are available. It is cheap also. One stop for Indian grocery shopping. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent place to go. I suggest everyone try out these different type of grocery stores.I have found a lot of spices that I was looking for that you cannot find in a regular grocery store. But even more than ever, their fresh coconuts are truly the freshest I have ever found anywhere except of course in a foreign country where they grow them. And theyre only $1.99 each and really big.Everyone was really kind and they even have a little sit-down area where you can buy something to eat. They have delicious India treats and unique ice cream. Yum yum!The only reason why I gave them four stars instead of five is because everything didnt have a price on it yet.UPDATE: Their coconuts are not always fresh😩. I have since been back several times and have gotten several bad coconuts.I guess I just got lucky before or it was a time of the year.

Be aware they are not very good at answering phones. Tried 50 times with no luck to place order for food on a Saturday night at 7:30 PM.

Long wait at butcher shop and they don’t encourage phone order for meat even in Covid to avoid crowd. Should be staffed or start taking phone order.

Lots to improve.From staff to managers, they are not such responsive. If I ask some item, the people working there will just tell its out of stock. But the item will be there( we have to do some Sherlock homes work to find it).Not that much clean.Shop was recently opened. But it is not maintained that way.There are better Indian grocery stores than this one. So I would suggest people to try other stores also to feel the difference.

I enjoyed a delicious spicy chicken puff pastry for about $3.50. The selection of ice cream flavors was impressive. I tried many Indian flavors I had never heard of before. I think a two scoop ice cream cone is $2! I will definitely be back again!

One of the key qualities of customer service is being humble and respectful. I think India market is just another big size grocery store with all of Asian grocery needs. When it comes to being kind to Indian customers, treating them with respectful and humble approach is missing and should be considered.

+1 star for cleanliness so far.So the store opened the week of Christmas 2018 and it has been a good start except for a few start up hiccups, no complains there. I make a stop there once a week or every other. During this time, the one thing that bothered me was the lack of pricing information on frozen items, bought this up with the girl at check out (as she is the only one I see every-time) and she always said we are in the process of getting them on, been 3 months and they are not there yet. They have a million reasons on why they could not get the prices on, as I asked her every-time I was there.I refrained myself from putting up a bad review just for this. However today got things under my nerves. Yesterday we had a storm with heavy wet snow and the front of the store was not cleaned and was slippery due to near freezing temperatures and bright sun. Told the girl again and she was sarcastic about getting the slippery store front taken care of, also they were missing the wet floor sign at the entrance and I wish no one gets hurt there.Conversation with the girl (translated from regional language):Me: Hey could you have the store front shoveled and salted, seems slippery.Girl: Yeah we can have it taken care of (in a sarcastic tone).Me: My suggestion was not a bad one and you don’t have to be sarcastic.Me: I tried finding your manager as he is not around I am letting you know.Girl: I told him this morning and he did not bother about it, can’t be my mistake.Girl: Do you want me to go clean it?Me: Yeah why not.Girl: So you want me to go get the supplies and salt to do it, I am a just an employee and its not my store. Cleaning it is not my job.I did not see a point in escalating the conversation and walked out, as I was walking out I really could not find a plow or salt.Multiple problems here, store owner who does not take care of customer safety, not providing necessary equipment to get things done, a staff who does not bother about anything and customer suggestions (my frozen food price labels) just heard and left. The moment we stop listening to our customers, is the moment we start loosing them.

Hi I recently did the shopping for good amount .I purchased 1 item kuttu flour . Packet of kuttu flour has expiry date of July 2019. In the March 2020, the item date was July 2019.It was like poison for us.what this store is doing . Please check the expiry of items purchased before going to shop from here.They are selling expiry item.

I bought dosa batter from the store which was spoiled when i opened the container ... called the store ASAP but dey din bother to solve the issue instead suggesting the batter is like this only... n was told we are busy and we will call u back... n addition to dat when i checked the label of expiry it was labeled twice ... u people are playing with the health of customer ... and very very bad cutomer service... we are never coming back to ur store 😡

One stop shop for groceries, fresh Halal meat (they cut the meat in front of customers) Indian food (includes breakfast, lunch bakery items Biryanies, ice-cream‘s and fresh juices). store is organized very well with wide variety of items, good arrangement of stock in sales, more distance between Isles and good customer service by staff.I definitely recommend everyone to have a shopping experience and taste of food.

Honestly. If I have to just give ratings based on cleanness and customer service I am not ready to give them half star as well. Food is good but very poor in service.This is how they works:-Only single person takes the orderThe same person goes in kitchen and prepare the foodSame person will serve you at the end.So to even get a single order you need to wait for minimum 45 to 60 minutes.And they dont even clean the table once previous customer done with their food.The honest suggestion to owner from my end is you guys are very brand new in the market, even if your food will be good people will not choose you because of your very bad service and non hygienic tables and sitting area. Please hire at least 1-2 personThat can help you in cleaning and serving . Or else its your business customer will find better option that that can better services in proper time.For example i waited 65 minutes to get one dahi puri plate.

I initially loved the store overall, many different varieties of multiple items, cleanliness etc.But recently I have been having really bad customer experience.1. Employees dont know where what item is kept, they just simply say It is out of stock.2. Vegetables are no longer fresh.3. Staff is not well educated and trained.4. Horrible frozen fruits and vegetables, and when I tried to return it, the owner simply said Frozen fruits are like this only, I can open 10 other packets to prove it. My humble request is if you yourself know that the frozen fruits are such bad quality that you cant even bear the horrible smell of it, why do you still keep it in the store to sell to your customer. Thats just plain cheating your customers.5. Good job on the fresh meat counter and I just love the Restaurant food.For now on, I would just visit the store to only eat food from the restaurant and NEVER ever buy anything else for the store.At least for me, I am just paying for the customer service experience and not just the goods which you can buy from other Indian Stores.

I had sugar cane juice and a plain dosa. Was sick for 6 months after that. They need to clean up the juicer machine and the sugar cane. Juicer needs to be cleaned after every serving 🙏

Good food, fresh veggies

I never enjoyed shopping here.. standing in billing line is like waiting in govt office line in india. you will be on your place only after 1 hour also.. i dont even go here normally.. just 2-3 times since it opened... and it is costly shop.. and yes they sell old expired sweet boxed too.. expired means not 1 or two month expired.. it means 2-3 year expired boxes with new label.

This one is biggest Indian grocery store in the city. It is big and spacious.Things are well organized and well managed. They have small restaurant as well which offers variety of food varying from sweets, fresh juices of oranges and sugar cane, biryani and other fast food items.

Store is nice and big, good lighting, good location and well maintained.Staff seems confused and we never know who is who. Agree with other reviews that service should be improved to retain customers.

These guys never listen what customer saying or their concerns. I purchased one sweet box and when I open at home it was full of fungus. I went to shop to show them, I shocked when then did not said sorry even they asked for receipt. I request them to remove that item from shop so that by mistake other not eat. But they just ignored us and same items are there still in the shop. How bad the customer service is. I really disappointed ☹️.

Management is seriously poor. Many items are not priced and there is no staff to help you. You will wonder how much you are paying for a specific item.

The checkout takes too long, like atleast 20 mins even if the line is short with 3 customers. Almost half of the grocerry items are manually entered. Only one checkout place is active no matter how big is the line. Its really painful to wait 30 mins in the checkout line.The store is big, but lot of basic items are either not available or out of stock.Things are not organized properly and you have to scan every row for some items. Customer service is also not helpful, their standard answer for any question is they are out of stock for the item i want.They get lot of customers, but they really need to improve on basic services like quick checkout, organize things properly, customer service etc!!I try to avoid going to this store as much as possible for these reasons but only visit when their is no other option

The place is good for shopping indian sub continent grocery, their restaurant also serve good food with decent serving size. The only downside is you have to wait a lot be at their restaurant, butchery or cash register.

Ordered paneer chili (to go). The taste was good but quantity provided not up to the mark. When I opened the box after recahing home, I saw that the box was barely 1/2 filled. Thats disgusting. NO wonder when the person walked upto me to hand me my To-go order, he was shaking the box inside the plastic bag atleast 4 or 5 times in front of me so that the food can spread all over the box. The cleanliness is another issue at this location. The dining tables at the cafe are dirty all the time. No attention by the employees to maintain any hygiene.

They have a very good grocery selection along with other Asian food and what nots in the store. Their restaurant is decent too. We only go there to eat Samosa Chaat, Dosa and Puri, which are all good. Rest of the biryani and other items are hit or miss.But their Restroom is very dirty- water (hopefully!) and tissue paper strewn all over the floor! It smells bad too.

Maintenance is good & customer service is also good.

Not too bad for the area. Has some harder to find vegetables and herbs. Frozen products are ok with a decent curry section. Basmati rice options are solid, although they do not seem to carry Dunar Brand.
