WE LOVE MY ENGAGEMENT RING!!! I went to Shin Brothers with my fiancee so we can get an idea of what type of ring I wanted. They had so many different designs and selections that I could try on. I actually chose about 4 different designs, then my fiancee chose this design shown below. The thing was that I was in LOVE with pear shaped diamond rings..but the sample they had was with a round stone :(! But they were able to create a whole new custom ring with the stone and size we wanted!Mr Shin and the employees were so patient and helpful throughout the entire process with recreating exactly what we wanted. It took about 2-3 weeks for them to create the custom mold with the pear shape and the setting. I do a lot of manual work at my job (+ continuous hand washing), so the design was made with a low set stone to prevent it from catching on sweaters and such. That was a super considerate part of the design!They kept us updated with photos of the entire process too. My fiancee was able to pick out the quality and color of the diamond, with extra education provided by the wonderful staff. My fiancee was so happy with the results and of course I LOVED IT!!!! It is certainly a one of a kind ring. You can literally do ANYTHING you want with the designs at their store. You can combine concepts of different rings you see. They can make anything in such great quality and prices. I am in love with my ring and the sturdiness of the design. I get compliments everywhere we go, but most of all, it reminds me of my fiancee!

Richard and his wonderful team have done it again! Though I might be biased, Mr. Shin has been a part of my family for generations! My father knew him first, then my fiancée went to him for my engagement ring, and now we have the perfect wedding bands to complete our set! The entire team is professional, warm, inviting, and exceptional in their knowledge of the jewelry business. We were able to have our rings appraised for insurance purposes right in the same store! For our wedding bands, Michael, my husband, wanted to have engraving done on the inside of our bands for our wedding day with our initials and our wedding date; this turned out to be quite the challenge. Michael’s came out amazing and legible since he has a much bigger finger than I do, and even though I have a tiny 5.5 ring size… they managed to still put M&B (our first initials) with our wedding date of 10/07/2017. Whenever you visit, they are kind enough to clean your jewelry if asked. Anyone who is even THINKING about getting engaged this store is the first I recommend. He also has a wonderful arrangement of watches, and other jewelry that would be outstanding for any occasion! We love being a part of the Shin family. I don’t usually write reviews.... however I loved going there so much today I felt I needed to share. After being 1st quoted one price by another jewelry, Shin was able to do the same job for less than HALF the price, and have it done in 10 minutes (The other place told me 2 weeks!). The staff was so friendly and lovely (especially Liz), I will never go to another jeweler again. Also, they have such a good selection... I was able to find other piece of jewelry I had been looking for in the 10 min I was waiting. Can’t say enough good things!

Drove from New York, as always greeted with smiles and by name. I said I wanted a wedding band to match my engagement ring, they pulled out the perfect ring. I did not have to look at all. The rings were made for each other. We also got his wedding band which he explained he wants as simple yet elegant. They pulled out a trey and within minutes figured out exactly what he would want. I brought my engagement ring to Shin Brothers to be sized based off the previous Google reviews I read and I was not disappointed. I explained to the owner that I had visited several other jewelers to have the ring sized but decided against because their prices were too high and I didnt feel comfortable with the store. I have been drumming since I was 4 yrs old and have been a drum teacher for 8 years now. My logo displays a snare drum with drumsticks. Dan worked with the owner and his staff to get the ring exactly the way he wanted. Richard was very patient and professional when dealing my detail-oriented fiancé, who happens to be a designer. Let’s just say the end result is absolutely beautiful! Every time I show my ring, people are amazed by the amount of detail and craftsmanship that was put into the ring. Right now we are currently working with the owner on my wedding band, which will be in the shape of a drum throne to compliment my engagement ring. And we bought something that was modest in price. That wasnt important. The quality of their product and how their customers are treated has been their concern. We needed something special for our daughters college graduation, it was nowhere to be found. Except with Richard; he designed the bracelets from our drawing and they were perfect. SB Jewelers was by far the best experience I ever had buying a watch. I had seen the location many times since I frequent nearby stores, but had never walked inside until today. I wanted to look at their Citizen watches since they are featured on Citizens official site as an authorized seller, but was considering buying the watch from Amazon. I really only intended to try on the watch, and then buy it on Amazon since I thought they had the lowest price I could find online. I was in for a SURPRISE!Dora was extremely helpful in assisting me, and even though the watch I had initially wanted was discontinued, I was shown two watches which I really liked. I couldnt decide which watch to get, so it was suggested to get both, and I was told they would hold the second watch for me later if I put a deposit down on it now. This made me very happy as I love collecting watches. They were able to give me such a great price on them, I felt as if I had been coming there for years!The service was so phenomenal, I was even given bottled water while waiting for everything to be finished. Richard was very knowledgeable and showed me a beautiful Movado. It was also great conversing with the other regular customers, and hearing their thoughts on watches. My fiance and I had been looking for a ring, but nothing caught my eye. I thought I knew what I wanted, but what looked beautiful on the display case or on another person, I didnt like on my finger. I stopped by Shin Brothers only by chance and was impressed from the moment I walked in. Everyone was genuinely friendly and not pushy as I have seen in so many other stores. I was shown the rings they had and fell in LOVE with one particular ring. It was nothing that I had seen before and completely different from what I thought I wanted. The craftsmanship, the quality...breathtaking. At that point, Richard (who is a love!) came out and told me that he had designed the ring himself! Needless to say, I came back with my now fiance and he was so impressed that he put a deposit right then and there. They were also able to size it down while we waited so that it would be ready for when my fiance was. After he proposed, he kept going on and on about how great his own experience with Richard and the rest of the staff was, and how friendly and accommodating they were (and he is a very picky man). I needed to purchase a box for some jewelry and I just happened to stumble upon this quaint jewelry shop. I expressed my concerns that I had previously purchased some jewelry from overseas but was unsatisfied with the packaging. They gave me some boxes and afterwards I noticed their prices were very reasonable. I purchased a pair of earrings and got a huge discount because of my military service. The owner, Richard was a very kind and gracious man, his son in law and the other employees went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I looked at some of their citizen and seiko watches and was told they will mark them down significantly for me if I do return. I’ll hold them to that. Thank you very much guys. I’ll be back.

I brought in a 1.7 carat diamond that all others jewelers advised was a “lost cause”. The representatives at Shin Brothers were able to cut and reshape this “lost cause” into a beautiful 1.5 carat cushion cut diamond! I know Mr Shin from the days of Rt.18 flea market where my wife and I made our jewelry purchases at that location. I stopped by his store on Rt 1 today after looking him up on the web. First I thought maybe he sold the business since I did not find him but after speaking with one of his sales staff he emerged from the back. He recognized me and I was happy to see him after so many years. As always he and his staff provide an excellent service and make your visit a pleasant experience. Just dont Bother walking in if you have any color to your skin or are not dressed rich. The level of prejudice I felt today was palpable,specifically from the two ladies i met there, one of them seemed of European descent... I mean physically walking away from me to seat inside, even as i was still speaking to her, the Body language was Saddening...Ive never felt this uncomfortable in my life. For some reason they assumed I wasnt there to buy, or couldnt afford to. thanks to them, my split second impulse to go Splurge on a new diamond band after Id been ripped off by an online store, went away quick!!!
