Dropped the SUV off mid morning, picked up late afternoon. New tires, checked alignment & brakes. Reasonable price and good service. Been using the shop for years and they continue to provide good service.

I took my car in to get 4 new tires since one was going flat, and it was explained that I should get all 4 replaced. Chris, the head customer service person, contacted me to say the 1 tire had a nail and they patched it instead of replacing. She saved me $800. Many other places would just put on brand new tires without letting me know the 1 in question could be easily fixed, and I would not know the difference since I was prepared to pay $800. The country needs more honest people like Chris and the staff at Dobbs.

I brought in my truck to have my brake pads replaced because they were making noise. They did aninspection and said that no work needed to be done and explained the noise that I was hearing was temporary and I still had a lot of life left in my brake pads. There was no charge for today and I was so thankful and grateful for their honesty.

This place is awesome! Daughters car needed one new tire ASAP. Even though it was almost time for them to close they got my tire replaced, I was in and out in less than 15 minutes, the guys were extremely nice and didnt try selling me the most expensive tire.I will definitely be back

We had a blowout of our tire on our Cadillac and unrepairable damage to the rim. Terry took excellent care of us. We needed 1 tire but with the mileage on the old tires and a great deal Terry gave us we bought all 4. We were very satisfied with the customer care and the service performed. I like Dobbs and I have used this location numerous times for multiple cars. However, today did not measure up to past visits.First of all, I really feel that charging $215 to replace a car battery is rather excessive. I know that I could go to other locations where it would cost a lot less. I chose Dobbs because of my past experience and because I knew that replacing the battery on my Ford escape was going to be a little tricky. However, I still do not believe that it should’ve cost $215. I do realize that this is not a location decision so my lower than five star rating as it relates to the price Is my review of the organizations pricing scheme, not the location.I did have another service related issue with the location that lowered my rating. When I brought my car in for service the manager, Terry, checked me in. I told him that the cover for my battery case was in the back of my vehicle. I saw Terry write this on my service order. When I picked up my vehicle I decided that this is something I should check. As I feared, the cover had not been placed on top of the battery case. I ended up doing it myself. It was no big deal, but I know it was on the service order and I didn’t particularly appreciate getting my hands filthy dirty while I was out running errands.Well today’s visit was a little disappointing it will not deter me from using this Dobbs location in the future.Dave

Had to buy more new tires from Dobbs though the last set I bought from Dobbs only had 30,000 on them. But because I only had them rotated 3x instead of 5x I had to pay $500+.00 before Christmas to buy more. I am retired but transfer Grandchildren. Tony was very apologetic for the failure of my tires and recommended a better tire. He also urged me to be more mindful of rotations. He was very nice and helpful though I wish Dobbs would have given me more off my new tires.

I trust Dobbs’ (Edwardsville Location) and they get the job done in a timely manner. They don’t try to empty your wallet and only perform the work that you ask them to do. If they find that you need extra work, they’ll call you and explain and get your approval first. I could be happier with their service. Like his staff, Terry, the manager, is a very nice gentleman. I have been taking my vehicles to Dobbs since we moved to Edwardsville 4 years ago. I was hesitant at first due to the reputation of Dobbs at other locations. But i have been very satisfied with their service. I took my truck there recently. They had it for two days troubleshooting a serious issue with my brakes and power steering. While they couldn’t find anything wrong it started to work again. They were not going to charge me a dime. I recommend just flushing the power steering fluid. Which they did do. I have not had the issue since then.Every single weekend this place is packed. If they were not being truthful with their service i would think the parking lot would be empty. My 2 cents.

We’ve been using this Dobbs for years, for multiple vehicles. The service and price are great. The business hours work great for those who can’t pick up or drop off earlier in the day. If there is anything that could make the experience better, it would be a smile or two behind the counter.

They do a great job taking care of my car.

This was an amazing experience I came in frantic because I had just hit a pot hole in my new car and it messed up one of the tires. I was able to walk in and have some one right away come out to my car and look at the tire. I was told that it maybe a couple hours before someone could look fully at the tire to see if it needed replaced. They called me with the info in under an hour and got me back in right away to replace the tire.

Today was not the first time I had a tire issue- flat, blown out, air leak... and they managed to squeeze me in to their Busy schedule. As usual they have been courteous and professional. I always feel confident they can fix my car problem and they deliver with excellent service and no hassles.

We have been going to this Dobbs for a while now and I have always received good service. It does take at least 30 minutes, normally longer, to get a walk in service, but given the number of customers that they seem to consistently have in when I go, I think their turnaround is impressive. They have always been friendly and quick as possible.

Phenomenal service! We were headed out of town for a vacation, and low air pressure hit us. Dobbs got us in right away to repair our tire so we could hit the road. Super appreciate Dobbs!

Busy Location, fantastic work!Edwardsville is a fast paced town and this Dobbs is always lined with cars! That being said, the reason theyre so busy is because of consistently quality work! Fantastic Service. Ive only had service this good at mom and pop shops. Long wait because it’s a busy area, but they move fast and friendly. They go out of their way to make things most convenient for you.

Scheduled an oil change a week and a half in advanced. A few days before my low tire pressure light came on and even though I put air in my tires it would pop back on shortly so I brought this up with them as well. They gave me an oil changed and fixed my tire that had a nail in it in under 45 minutes. I had brought cash with me but couldn’t find it on me (figured I forgot it at home) so paid with card and when I get in my car I see my cash (about $100 in various bills) sitting on my seat. I was simply blown away that none of it was even touched. Quick quality service with honesty and integrity every time. Thanks Dobbs!!

Very unhappy with my experience this morning. Brought my car in as soon as it opened to get a tire plugged. Waited for an hour then the guy told me it was screw, never showed it to me or explained anything. They never checked my tire pressure in the plugged tire(I intentionally put 5 PSI higher than recommended) or any other tires. I then called to confirm that they plugged the tire because didn’t see it, and they said yes but it’s very unnoticeable, it was a new guy, and they wanted to get me to work as quickly as possible. I would strongly encourage people to go elsewhere.

Great place to have your car serviced and maintained. They have some of the best deals in the area. They are busy but will get you in ASAP. Tony was knowledgeable and very helpful.

Had a great experience at Dobbs today. My appointment was for 3:00, but I dropped it off early because my sister and I were going to do some shopping. I just figured they would take it back at my appointment time, but they called me at 3:00 to tell me it was finished!! Perfect timing. Awesome service when I had a flat tire on my way to a real estate closing for work...they put on the spare, aired it up and let me know to come back later and they would repair the hole in my flat!..I was only 15 minutes late for the closing 45 minutes away. So grateful for the amazingly gracious service that interrupted their day!

Called yesterday about my car for warranty for the front steering alignment to be looked at, which they needed to be adjusted. Got in the following morning. Worked out great that they fixed the adjustment. Bought new back tires as the front are still new from 6 months ago. Walked in at 7:45pm(close at 8), worried about my “low pressure” tire light that went on in my 2013 Ford Fusion. Dobbs offered to help set my tires to the correct psi, and removed the light from my vehicle in under 5 minutes. Free of charge. I’m very disappointed with this Dobbs. I spent almost $1400 to get a bunch of stuff fixed to the point that I felt I was just being ripped off. Then, after I picked it up, not only was it not fixed it was actually worse. To top it off, they wanted me to spend another $3400 for some part when I just bought this car a year and a half ago. I no longer trust this location and will never go back there.

Did a wonderful job replacing my tire, oil change, and rotating my tires! They got me in and out pretty fast and were so nice! They forgot to put my spare in my car and since I was already close to home which is 30 minutes away from Dobbs in Edwardsville, they went out of there way to drop it off at my work in Maryville the next day for my convenience!!

I appreciate that Dobbs was able to get me in to repair my car so quickly, that they gave me a ride to work, and put my new license plates on my car for me. That special attention really goes a long way, which is why I prefer to have my car taken care of at this Dobbs location!

I’ve gone to this location multiple times and this past time, had my oil changed and tires rotated on my brand new car. One of the wheels was scratched and paint chipped off due to the tools used in the removal. I immediately spoke with the Manager, Terry and he took care of things right away! Confirmed what happened and is ordering a new wheel.What was a not so happy outcome resulted in great customer service by management.

After a questionable experience several years ago I decided to give Dobbs in Edw another chance. The manager there worked with my shop to make sure I get the best fitting tires available for my hot rod at a reasonable price. They have earned back my business. Im very pleased with the look fit performance and price.

The service is always friendly. This particular visit was more so. It was late, I got there a couple hours before they closed and they were packed because of the winter storm. They got us in and taken care of, and thanks to the road hazard warranty on our tires the replacement was minimal.

Had an alignment done about 2 weeks ago and felt like something wasnt right. I took it back today 5/30/2019 to have it checked out and see if it was off. They always have tires on sale. They give great road service credit, they even do very reasonably priced oil changes. I went in to get a $400 brake job once, and came out not having spent one penny, as they did not feel it was needed, after having rotated the tires, it seemed to go away.

I had a bit of a wait but I was a walk in and on a busy night, they worked my car in. They warned me of the wait and the facilities to wait in were fine with wifi available.

Dobbs Tire Edwardsville provides timely, expert, and trusted care for our cars. Over the last two weeks I have lost three tires and two rims to potholes in the highway. Terry and the team helped me get back on the road as quickly as possible. Everybody knows it’s hard to be without a car - to get to work on time and everywhere else you have to go - and they understand that. I appreciate that they take the time to show you the damage to your car and to walk thru the detailed charges, which is helpful when you are trying to deal with unexpected costs and decisions. We appreciate having them in our community and working with them for the last 20 years as our kids have grown up and we have had to maintain a “fleet” of vehicles.

Always happy with the work done at this store. However, this time the tech left oil stains on my carpet and floor mat, and forgot he had my locking socket (for the lug nuts) in his pocket. I’ve used this store for years and this is the only time I’ve had an issue.
