Be careful with this store when checking out they will decline your transaction and will tell you use other card/debit and still they will decline your transaction BUT when you check your statement both of your card CC/Debit would be charged. They also will ask you pay in cash, so basically you paying 3x for the products. I checked with my bank they charged my two cards, which I already paid them in *Cash because they declined both of my card by purpose probably BUT Charged me in 3 form. My bank will take care of this fraud
Always great taste at there buffet and grills, shawarma is the best in El Cajon
To be honest one of the worst place as far as customer service. You call order food over the phone and when you go to pick up you have to wait and they don’t care about your order. They pretended that your order is ready. And no one cares if you did order or not. Then they “Habibi wait 2 minutes” I don’t know what kind of meat will turn to kabob in two minutes.
This place is amazing !!!! Literally best bread and Arabic food. Yeah sometimes they’re booked but it’s worth the wait for the food and the owners are great people, met them myself. My favorite go to for Arabic food and bread.
Best food Best service Best people.Thank you so much
Great place, really good if you want to get a quick bite and makes the best tanori bread!
Love it here, good service, love the shawarma and Iraqi style food. Will go back
Professional staff and good products.
Called to ask about whether they had a product in stock. The employee said I dont know. I asked whether someone there could find out for me. The employee hung up on me. Guess thats asking too much.
Fresh products, delicious kabob, And professional staff.
This place is horrible, the cooks don’t wear masks or gloves, matter a fact, literally like nobody here wears masks or gloves. We came here to get some stuff and ordered bread, we go to the store and then come back, guess what? Bread’s not made. A similar situation also happened to us a couple weeks ago. I wouldn’t even give these guys a 1/10 rating, but one star for a little effort I guess. 1/10
They have the best chicken in elcajon in my opinion but the customer service is really poor the manger was on the phone calling someone while i was checking out and he over charged me.
Delicious food, amazing bread and wonderful customer service! Highly recommend!
The food is delicious I will give it 5 stars but to go there for grocery you will need to check the expiration on every item you want to buy
Its very good
Best quick service, good staff with respect and very good food thank you!
The worst place. Worst customer service. I called them to order and she told me I cant give you the price. I cant transfer your call!!?? How can I buy something without knowing the price??!I went over there and see unhealthy and dirty kitchen. This place is a bad experience and bad food choice
Is not with it to try. bathroom is filthy.!
They got foreign spices
I was initially here to grab phyllo dough as they are hard to find in a regular grocery store. The staff is very friendly and quite helpful when I was looking for my items. I enjoyed watching them prep the bread and put it in the oven as its quite unique. I returned the same day because their kabobs and shawarma looked delicious. The staff was able to direct me to their items and we ended up getting kabobs and shawarma along with some dolmas. Over all the food was delicious and Im about to fall asleep as I write this.
I had a lamb stew it was extremely flavorful and the broth and veggies in it were great!!!
Whenever I drive to San Diego from Los Angeles, where I live, I try to explore a new place to enjoy Iraqi-flavored dishes. This place offer a very nicely done Kabob, seasoned well, very friendly people.. The place offers a quality variety for your Grocery shopping.. Wish they offer more seating area, never-the-less, I Will definitely bring my family back to enjoy the food.
Great and cheap food
Autentic food, autentic people, love the food and the grocery selection, Delicious!!!
Best middle eastern market Ive been too! Family owned, its got a warm and cozy atmosphere, quaint little market store, with overwhelming smells of fresh baked bread and kabobs, along with other amazing dishes! Only place I go to for fresh, delicious, middle eastern food, that you can either eat there or take home. They also offer catering options, so any event you have going on, you outta consider stopping here ahead of time and considering them for your one stop shop!
Best middle eastern homemade food
Nice people and delicious Kabobs and fish’s
Im pretty sure theyre using expired meat and food. Because this is not the first time I get terrible and nasty meat, you can Smell it and taste it.Im talking about the grills
The best place in California,No #1 best kababs in El Cajon.Excellent Food!
Very small, delicious food, very kind people.
Very nice and respectful peoples in this market.
Literally everything feels is so cheap. The store looks bad from the outside and the inside. But it’s very good for the prices. I recommend buying dates from there
The chef who prepare the chicken really nice guy, food test great, they give you extra food so you come back again, prices are good, as fir the grocery, depend on the day, still cheap and good quality not superb, as for the spices and other items well its authintic Iraqi grocery, jam is amazing and no preventive in any canned food yet still affordable.
Very good foods 👌👍 and good guys too Ali the guy he is 💯 friendly person and can do any order you want. I love the hot Arabic breads!!!!!
Really good food for a very fair price. I mostly just go for the hot food to go. They have good kabobs and various types of rice. I also like the shawarma. Only 4 stars because occasionally some food is already sold out or they didnt prepare any of a certain type that day.
Enjoyed the hot food they served.
The only reason I go to this place for quick bite. lunch or dinner. and they made it exactly like homemade. delicious. its just little bit expensive but its worth it to feed your body with healthy meal.
This is a hidden gem. It looks like a little market from the outside, and it is, but inside is also a giant kitchen where they cook kebabs and fresh baked bread over wood on an open flame. The food here is so good you will not be disappointed. I cant recommend this place enough.
Great food!
I gave one star and this place deserves none! The worst service ever!!!! Every time I order something I go to pick it up they make me wait 50 minutes! I ordered a fish for to people and he told me it will be ready at 4:20 I go there 15 minutes late because I know it wont be ready by the time promised and it was still not ready!!!!!! The guy said it will take another 15 minutes!!!!! People have work and other plans its very unprofessional! You just last a customer and youll lose more if you keep it like this!
An idiosyncratic grocery store. Friendly staff. Get the fresh bread with hummus! Amazing!
They dont even deserve one star.If youre Iraqi this is your place. Other ppl gets treated like crap. I place an order for bread. They took my order and said it will be ready in 5 minutes. I got there they gave my bread to an Iraqi woman, and told me we are out of bread. Was it because I wasnt Iraqi? How can someone do that when I called and placed an order. Place smells bad all the time. Dirty as hell. Flies everywhere. Unprofessional, disrespectful, racist. I wonder how are they still open. How come the city didnt shut them down yet???? How can they pass the inspection? Food inspection? Health inspection? Whats of the items are expired. Its a mess!!!!
Bread is good but the store smells meat that I couldnt stand
Here is best delicious in San Diego I have ever tried. Fresh awesome and cheap! But, its perfect for to go, if you want to eat at the restaurant its going to be a little bit problem.
Best shawarma sanwich!
Great place for halal grocery. Reasonable prices.
I went in the and the guy acknowledge me and that was it. Nothing else happened. No taking of my order. A waste of my time.
Its been providing great clean service,I like the kabab, chicken and breads are delicious

Great customer service. The place has delicious food and priced very good.Lots of improvement
The best Chaldean foods. They cook amd bake their foods fresh. The owner Hannan is very friendly, nice and generous. They also have grocery store. A place to go.
Be carful, they sell old food ( the roasted chicken never fresh)
Last week I decided to stop in here and I found everything I wanted at amazing prices. The staff was helpful and I will come back very soon!
Worth every gold dollar
Great market and place to eat! Best kabob in San Diego! Will come back soon.
Excellent lamb. Thank you.
Excellent food, beef kabob and pistachio Turkish Delight was very fresh. Dirty bathroom and pigeon feces in dining area.
I like to buy grilled fish always from this placeIts cheap price and goodAlso the bread is good
One star only because the place is filthy and smells really bad. if only you check behind the building there is stagnant water with a lot of trash it is just disgusting. If only the were clean I wouldve given them 5 stars because they have the best tasting kebab. but I cant overlook the filthyness of this place.
Good Food...Frendly Service & Delightful Chat Will Have Me Coming Back For Lunch Very Soon!
Very good
Good place. Good food nice people you can eat and buy to go in same place.
Best Kabob in town...Best Iraqi qaymar in town...awesome klaicha....everything home style...like you never left Iraq.
Kebab are good. Always have my bread and kebab from here.
Its cool it had what I needed
Bread are acceptable but kebab is below average. Store smell Amber . So yakki old fashion desert smell
The kindness of the employeesThe prices are adorable and the store is very clean and organized with enough space for walk with the shopping car
This is a great place to buy authentic middle eastern food and groceries.
Very dirty restaurant, and they always use an expired meat. Also there is a bad smell in the store. One day I bought food from them, the day after I went to the hospital, I think the food was very old and have been cooked more then ones.
They have really good kabob.
The kabob and bread was the only good thing. The rest of the food I bought was not fresh and disguisting. LUCKILY the kaboob made up it.
Real food and very inexpensive...great people
Best food from Iraq . They charbroil the food inside the Supermarket. Good prices. Lots of variety
Delicious prepared food to take out.
Do not come to this place, the owner and the people working inside are tricky and theyll try to rip you off, there are no prices on the hot food and its difficult to find out what theyll charge you. I asked one of the workers how much a shawerma sandwich was and the guy intentionally left to ask the owner, and when he came back they wouldnt tell me how much it was, the workers know what the prices are, but since they saw me placing a large order, they thought I was from out of town and they intentionally changed the price to 5.99 for a sandwich WHAT! all of the other Iraqi restaurants in the area charge between $3-4 and they purposely try to charge you higher and change prices, and in a very dishonest way. INow the line was very long and they were busy, and I dint want to make a commotion, I even asked the owner what the price was and all she could reply was that they were very busy on Sunday and to ask the worker, VERY SNEAKY PLACE! BE CAREFUL! OWNER DOESNT SEEM TOO HONEST! There are a lot of other places that are better than raffidan!
They were cooking it smelled great but they were not selling food
We picked up a feast for two under $20! Great food!
I like this place to pick up some hot food. Little guy at hot. Counter speaks english. Iraquii food.
Bad customer servicedirtyThey dont give you what you order for. When I came to the store I ordered 2 things and only one thing was ready and then they tell me to wait 5 minutes and it turns out I had to wait for 15 minutes, they dont even know there prices for the stuff and they rip you off.ااسواق لا تستحق ان تسمئ اسواقالخدمة صفر والاكل قذرابتعدو عن هذة الاسواق
Even though im iraqi, i still hate this place, its not clean in there.
I like their bread
Good people .good foodShoukran
Walked out
Delicious kabab and chicken, they have good meat and bakery too
The best market in El Cajon very delicious food perfect customer service ever .
The only place in Socal that has the middle eastern / Turkish flavor in their kababs. You must try it. Doner (shwarma) is a little bit sour but still tasty. A good selection of traditional breads and a decent selection of groceries. They only have couple of tables outside and the place is not that clean. Definitely a to-go place.
Giod iraqi food. Its not great but its ok. Very cheap. It is a store with a grill. Not a refined American type store or grill.. a place where actual immigrants shop and eat. Its rough around the edges.. you really dont know how much anything costs.. no menu.. you just point..they bake the flat bread constantly so its always fresh... Their beef kabobs are good, beef sharwma is good.
The most delicious Iraqi food, the owner hes so friendly
Smelled like Balls and Feet the minute the Deli Person opened his cavernous 50-gallon crock-pot and waved his unwashed and ragged hands in a ostentatious display of pride in what appeared to be an enormous amount of rat droppings in the bushes
Good people but need to be more clean for US
Good store for Arabic food, Restroom not clean, price is normal
Great deal and all kind of Mediterranean food
