What a beautiful market

From the moment I walked into the market youre able to see the difference on the nice people and on the products they sell. Going out into the counter asking what they recommend for food or for cheese was a really nice experience because the person that helped me was such a nice person that told me what was each plate they had there for and how could I actually combining with the actual breads that they were making right next to the food area. The bread I got was amazingly delicious it was hot it was right and perfect to eat at the moment I was eating. Unfortunately I ate everything faster that I could take a picture from but next time I will be taking my family to this Market because I know they would love it I do have a couple pictures on the water I will post them in there. Service was amazing easy to get to pleasant to be in there everythings super clean Super perfect and against the people from the cashier the person behind the register to the people that were doing the fruits and vegetables and the breads it was an amazing experience and Im I cant wait to go back and take my family there.

The boneless whole chicken ruined our day! We were not feeling well for the entire day after we ate a little. It was not fresh, had a horrible smell, may have been expired, and was full of spicy (cinnamon). Besides, the staff was unprofessional with no attitude. There’s supposed to be Halal meat, but not sure how theyre familiar with this term since the meat seller looks strange! After I saw this places hospitality, I realized the value of our halal stores in Sacramento that are amazing!

Amazing! This is the best International market in town!! I love quality of foods, vegetables and of course the bakery! You should try the date bread. Its amazing! The staff are friendly and professional.Thank you for keeping the place and products in high quality 🙏❤

They sell the sheep brain Arabic products with out any expiration date.I bought it a frozen sheep brain from Harvest meat section at 4:30 pm I arrived home it was completely yellowish damaged I took the photo for more information. I called the store manager and I told him he said to me are sorry we cant help you. I dont know how long they kept it frozen

One of my favorite markets on El Cajon, great olives, fresh bake bread, ready to eat food, fresh produce and meats! Big parking lot and friendly service.

I was just resently at harvest market and bought a few items and was amazed at the prices and freshness of the products they had. A neighbor suggested I get my ground beef there. I not only got the ground beef but the chicken and catfish. I then discovered the produce section and lost it! The produce was so fresh and the prices were even BETTER. I didnt know where to go next in the store. The cashier was another treat. So friendly and helpful. The staff helped me with my power chair even. I will be going there again and I suggest yall do the same!

Clean store descent prices . Parking can be difficult when its busy. In general good prices . I wish their other location on Balboa did not close.

Price of some vegetable products is high compared to other places also gets bad so fast even if you put it in the fridge other food imported from over seas the price of it is high quality not that good if you are in a rush for 1 or 2 items go there other wise dont

Went to Harvest International Market for my first time on Saturday and for a small store It carries an incredible amount of fresh produce, meat and pastries . They are staffed by a group of very friendly, professional customer service representatives. I had all of my questions answered and whenever I found a product that was unknown to me they patiently took the time to explain it to me . I will make this a part of my regular purchases The prices are also agreeable for my budget .

I only went there to use my ebt card to get something freshly made, of course they dont accept EBT... only there grocery side.

This place it’s amazing they have everything all the food and grocery specially the Arabic bread and the kabab, also the homus it’s amazing.

Its disgusting to see most of the items there are expired and no one cares about it. Bought a cookie the other day looked at it and it says expires in march 31. It tasted soggy never would come back to this disaster

They have improved their management drastically.Good store and they have constant sales on basic everyday items, like tomatoes, cucumbers, parsley, and on most fruits and vegetables. All is good.

Excellent Middle Eastern market with delicious hot and cold entrees and sides. They have very good bargains on fresh fruit. This store is smaller and has less of a selection in cans and jars than the Balboa location. The fresh fruit seems to be of a better quality here. There is also a greater selection of hot entrees. We hope that since the Balboa store has now closed due to Covid-19, the large excellent baklava selection that was available there will be soon available here. Update: Got the Meal for 4 special of 4 beef kabobs, 4 chicken kabobs, 3 chicken tikka, 4 falafel, 1/2 beef & 1/2 chicken shawarma, rice, bread, and 8oz. pickled veggies. Everything was perfectly cooked and very tasty. However, the beef shawarma was a little dry.

Nice selection of produce and deli, but not sure how sanitary. No cart sanitizer available, no hand sanitizer available. Only one cashier with long line and no social distancing. Bulk dates next to check stand, people were touching with bare hands. One person took mask off face to cough. Cooks and clerks at deli did not have masks over their nose.

The lady doing the bread have her month cover in her neck i kindly aware her becouse the Corona V and she give me a sarcastic smile and turn over, she was taking the bread from oven to place them in the place were customers take them, so she didnt care just look at me mad wile i was shopping and she continued working with out the face mask i am not middle east but i used to like going there sometimes but also another girl was so rude for no single reason since the first look they look at you pretty mean and throw hard the things i buy to the desk I wont go there any more.

The manager in food section doesnt know how to use cash register. When the cashier take a lunch break and there is more than one shift. Customers wait until the cashier returns from lunch break. Just wait like half hour to pay food. Knowing the manager standing there with his back to few customers and pretending like no body there.

The cashiers up front and the deli personnel are extremely rude and do not know about customer service. I bought hot food on 3 occasions. The first two were fine, although I thought the meat wasn’t cooked all the way. On the 3rd time I wasn’t given everything I ordered. I went back yesterday and was told that I need to speak with the manager. Apparentlythe manager was not available and was due to return in 3 hours. I couldn’t go back in 3 hours so I will call him tomorrow.The manager always sits up front on the tables and doesn’t seem to be aware of the customer service. He seems to be speaking a middle eastern language and doesn’t seem to be aware of what’s going on. They have products that I can’t find anywhere else but they have to brush up on customer service. I have heard from relatives and people in this area ( Harvest Market is 5 minutes driving time from my home) that employees at Harvest are very rude. Lots of them have stopped shopping there. I am at that point myself.

Dont go to work with them, they dont pay for training.

Very bad Customer service, have no respectThey are very stingy, I bought more than $ 90 and when I needed an extra bag to put a milk gallon because I had so many bags with me how can I carry a gallon, the cashier said to me, I cant give you a bag for this, I laughed and said To her really, haha I will give you the price of this bag. Really, this is a bad thing, and she gave me the bag and her face like a selfish . I will never come to this place and I will tell my family about this shameful thing, and we will not buy from this store again

The best Arabic bread ever, and very cheap. A great salad bar. Sometimes it is very busy and slow, and I am in line a long time before they even acknowledge my presence. Yet, their bread keeps me coming back. Also great fresh squeezed orange juice.

Had a horrible experience...I tried to order but was completely ignored. They took another Customer instead and made me wait. Then ignored me again and took another Customer. I feel discriminated against and wronged. I left as they obviously dont want my business or that of my friends.

I love harvest international market, you can find the best prices for groceries. But I wish they reopen their other branch in Clairemont location.

I just bought beef tikka sandwich yesterday, the meet was very hard and dry to eat like a rock. The meet type was not good to eat, it is cheap. I will never buy beef tikka sandwich again from there.Also the shopping cart are non sterile, it should be sanitized after each person who used it .However, the market has a lot of other good stuff that I would like to buy.

Went in this morning and to ordered 2 sandwiches at 9:55. We were the only two people at the counter. There were no other orders ahead of us. At 10:15 we asked about our order and was told it was coming. Four people were working in the kitchen. By this time more people had placed there orders and left with their food. By 10:30 still no food. The young woman at the counter apologized and asked the tall gray haired cook mumbled something to the young woman.Not sure what he said but it certainly wasn’t I’m sorry.Won’t be back. Drove all the way from La Mesa. Must have changed owners. Last time we were there I reviewed the store and said I wish I could give it more than 5 stars😢🤬

Prices are ok. Its clean and items are display really well. Since all this virus thing started their rules and regulations have really gone down hill. They started with sanitizing all the carts and giving everyone hand sanitizer before they enter the store. Now they dont even enforce how many people can be in the store. We will not be going back for a while in Hopes they get their store back in order.

No social distancing at this store, there is not enough space for that. Some people have masks on only for show, but they pull the masks down.The produce is cheap, but the quality of the produce is poor.

Everyone is very nice and helpful they recently expanded their produce section and the prices are lower than that of the big grocery stores. Halal food is also prepared in the store to go and breads just go for the great experience!!!! If u love middle eastern food u will be back. 💝💝💝

I come here for meat pizza. They make it to order which means its fresh, hot, super cheap and delicious. Almost feels like Im stealing. I do have to mention its always difficult to get in here to park and even worse trying to pull out of the lot. Nobody knows what they are doing whether they are walking or driving. 😅

We went here for a class project for my wifes class. Everything looked good and fresh. They have pretty good prices. Only four stars because I thought it was pretty small. Freindly service. Great food to go hot and cold . Good bakery also.

Deli is awesome and prices are awesome. 10 beef or chicken kabobs for 10bucks? What? Its a no brainer and they are delicious. The only thing is there is mo where to sit while you wait. Overall great market.

As much as I love shopping here whenever I am down in SD, I am kind of disappointed from my last visit experience. I bought few items from the salad bar and from the bakery. My worst nightmare when it comes to food, is finding hair in my food. I am sure you have regulations on handling food but please ask your employees to be extra careful. Also, I suggest having a numbering system to handle the line at your bakery. I had to wait an extra half an hour from people cutting off the line.

I live close to this store so is very convenient for me anytime I need to buy something. The store is Mediterranean so if you are Middle Eastern, or like Middle Eastern food this store is a good place to go. The store has a small restaurant inside and they serve very good food. Their product is okay, but recently their Persian cucumbers had been bad and rotten; last time I was there I told one of the staff to make sure they had better Persian cucumbers. Overall the store is good and the food quality is great.

It smelled rather fishy but it was a good place to pick up lots of Asian foods. There’s tons of noodles, packaged goods, some produce, and even live crabs and lobster. An interesting assortment of things and a small frozen section too.

I went for Persian pistachio nuts. They were out of them.

People there are very helpful, kind, generous and friendly. You must visit this Store. Ellie is the name of the store manager, this man is the greatest.

We love this Middle Eastern Style super market, mostly middle easterners shop here. Besides groceries, they cook delicious food that you take to go.

If your like to explore the different types of food around the world.You can start there, you can find regular food at razonable price, but try to taste the food is really good.I like potato Sambusa, salads, and the flat bread, really tasty, the Turkish delight spectacular.A carnival of flavors and colors.The best thing is the food here is good for any pocket.I really recomend this place.One of my old treasures.

Great selection of deli, bakery and prepared Middle Eastern food. Im a frequent shopper there. Whenever someone visits me, I take them there to taste their food. There is a dining area in the middle of the store. The place is usually busy. Parking is available for free and sometimes its full but most days you can find a parking spot. They also have produce and the quality and pricing is good. I give them 4 stars because they should do better job keeping the parking lot cleaner and lower the loud music playing. The music is quite annoying.

One of the cashiers talk too load, doesn’t respect at all!! If the owner cares about his business, should know how to pick the staff starting from management through the cleaning service!!I, personally, DO NOT recommend it anymore.
