Shayla is by far the best employee at this target. Im giving shayla 5 stars because she actually stopped what she was doing to ask how I was and if i needed help. Everyone else just kept walking or didnt even bother to lift their head up. Thank you Shayla !

I just saw the most amazing thing in the world! Target in El Cajon has a step stool for our little ones! I really think more places should have something like this.

Neat clean store, friendly employees, and all in all a wonderful store to shop for your basic necessities and wants. Susan, at self checkout, was extremely polite, friendly, and super helpful.

Poor service on the part of several employees. Couldnt find product needed even though its pretty basic. Was not asked if I wanted to buy a bag but was charged for one automatically when I didnt want to pay for one.

Quite and clean and organized. The shopping cart is much better than Walmart. I like how quite and smooth it moves. I like the wireless payment option. Pricing is close to Walmart with Target brands for food and other items. Definitely a plus. Wish there was more grocery items to choose from. I found most of the items I wanted. Definitely coming back.

Everytime i order drive up they take forever to get my stuff to my car. its always a good 20-40min wait for the drive up. never again.

We are always welcome, because we talk to the staff and they remember us. My daughter, Maddie, and I love the use of Carolines Cart, the special adult ride along cart (which you need more of)!

Friendly staff, good prices, clean store

Ordering was very easy! Youre alerted once your order is ready. The service for the drive up option was fast, easy and no fuss. I just pulled up, alerted them on the app of my arrival, and the attendant came right out. Love it!

Joseph an employee who checked us out made me laugh and was very considerate !

I obtained what I went there for. They also have a CVS pharmacy inside. Not the best setup of the targets I have been to. I prefer the one on Balboa in clairemont or the other in Kearney Mesa by the Costco.

I come here all the time due to me living nearby. The selection is good and the staff are friendly. The only complaint I have is that the self checkout line markers were removed. Last time I was there there were three lines going into self checkout and nobody was were the line is supposed to be. When I asked an employee why the floor stickers were missing I was told that a corporate manager didn’t like how they looked. Good to know that management cares about how the store looks over making a smooth experience for the customer. It’s a pain that I have to tell people where the line is every time I go in.

I just called this Target location to check to see if they had the double stroller Im interested in buying and the man was extremely kind! Too bad I forgot his name but it was the guest service department! ♡

Forgot about my online order. I usually get a text, but not this time. Was having health issues. I just found out that the order was canceled an hour before I called. No help with getting the items back. It wasnt even a big order, about 6 things. Thanks for nothing. Lesson learned.. At least Walmart helped me. And, the items were even cheaper at Walmart....

Been lied to retuned tv antenna was not able to get local channels ABC and CBS burchased for $49.99 used $40 paper credit and $9.99 red card,i simply asked her am i getting full refund $49.99 + tax she said yes, when i got home i called the credit was given to me only $9.99 + tax with out $40 .

One of the better targets Ive visited. The staff is get helpful. Their pricing on televisions is unmatched. Its making me consider purchasing a new Samsung. The store is well organized and extremely clean as well.

Target has all of the brands that I need. I have never felt disappointed when going to a Target, and have always felt comfortable in the store. Target is also one of the only places I can find a couple of specific items that I want.

Target by far has the absolute best sanitary safety measures in place out of all the stores Ive been to. Really top notch! They wipe down every cart and wipe down all parts of the register after every single use. The employees are all working so hard and are very polite and helpful despite working in this stressful time. This is my favorite Target Ive been to. Its always crowded though because of how great it is.Good stuff

Had an excellent experience today. John in electronics and Joseph near the pharmacy both helped me before I even had to ask. Both extremely helpful and knowledgeable. You could see the smile through their mask. Perfect example of customer service.

This girl just made me a wrong honey citrus mint tea. The store ran outta honey and she didn’t tell me, she ended up putting agave in my tea!🤧🤧Will never visit again 🤮Learn to speak, we customers understand and can choose other options 😏

My cashier was excellent except for that cashier next to her. Her name is Nicky and wears long skirts she was so rude because I wasn’t aware there was water bottles underneath my cart and that Nicki which was not my cashier pointed it out saying I was going to steal them. I didn’t even buy them because the water wasn’t even regular it was mint watermelon yuck! Someone needs to get her attention I wouldn’t want to shop or work at that store if that lady is there. Once again her name is Nicky and she is an older lady with brown hair and wears a skirt.

Alfredo was respectful and kind. He is what it means to be in customer service and made it that much more than just a simple shopping experience. The line was terrible and your site is miss informing; stating it was curb side pick up, but in fact you have to go into the store to get your order. This is terrible.

This Target never seems to be too busy.

I never do reviews like this but I just experienced here the rudest costumer service I have had in a long time. She was all-around disrespectful and even bordering on childish. She was young, brunette, long hair, stood maybe around 5 foot 3 give or take. Wish I couldve caught her name. I came in seeking help, but got none from her. I get times are tough but we all have to deal with it. It isnt fair taking it out on others. Anyway, I just thought my experience should be brought to others attention.

The staff was friendlier in this Target than some other nearby locations. They went above and beyond the norm, even though they were busy.

Staff can be quite rude. Can’t even ask them for a small question.

It is closest to me and the employees were very helpful in finding the items I couldnt locate.

Not as good a selection as Santee store

I was impressed by how many people were cleaning the store while we were there - freezer doors, cart handles, etc. It made me feel safe to shop there right now.

Merry in the food Cafe way the sweetest. She went out of her way to make sure my daughters pizza was prepared exactly the way she likes it. All the staff make it easy and fun to shop there with welcoming attitudes. It was easy to find everything because no matter what Target I go to their all set up the same way. Love it!

I like the El Cajon Target, because its close, and the staff is incredibly helpful. Today while searching for a plus size jean skirt. My friends and I were greeted by a friendly faced staff member named Alina. Target unfortunately didnt have our size, and Alina busted out a device, pulled up the skirt online, and said she could order it for us, and have it shipped to our home for free. We were so satisfied with her efficiency, professionalism, and knowledge. The only reason why this rating was not a five star, was due to the temperature in side of the store. Its always really warm inside. If it were cooler I would have shopped longer.

Great customer service and prices are usually pretty good. Recently called about an end of season item and got an amazing deal. The staff even brought it up to customer service so that it was ready when I got there. The associate who checked me out even offered to help load it and I didnt even have to ask. Overall visit 10/10.

Great job again! The hardest part is still navigating the website to place my pick up order. Customer service staff were quick and cheerful as always. I appreciate all their efforts to pull my order and making sure my order was complete. They all deserve a big pat on the back!

I had help called to the department I was in twice once over head and once on the radio by two different people and nobody every came to assist me. So my money and I left and went to Grossmont where I spent my money and got all the help I needed. Also the girl working at the customer service desk was rude and shouldnt be working in customer service. Its a shame, this used to be my favorite target.

I live about 15min away walking, I like there outfits slot and love the pharmacy. Everyone in Target are very professional and nice.

Decent store

Convenience of ordering on line and picking up within an hour .. .awesome waiting for another item that had to be shipped should be there tomorrow. Will definitely add comments after i try the products purchased.

Its a Target store, which is to say that it is almost identical to all other Target stores. Which is not a bad thing, it makes the shopping experience very predictable. The store layout is such that if youve shopped at a Target store elsewhere, you should have no problem finding what youre looking for. Quintessential mass merchandising!

I shopped at my local Target tonight and two nights ago. Two nights ago a young gentleman by the name of Pablo (hired within the last month or so) graciously helped me to my car. I had to use a handicapped cart because of 7 back surgeries. He could not have been kinder, sweeter, personable and/or more helpful. I introduced myself and thanked him for his generous help. He and other wonderful employees at this specific store is why I only shop here. I have at least three other Targets around me, but I love kind people and I have often told the management that the El Cajon (92021) store is the only one I will shop at. I also have spread the word to other friends and family. Forget about Walmart! Target hires great people and thats why I return often. Also, I do all my grocery shopping here because of the convenience and great quality merchandise. Thanks, Debby

Efficiency of item pick up.Extremely easy item pick up. Item was available earlier than the 2 hour timeframe listed on my online order confirmation.

I love this store. Easy in easy out!

I love the quality of stuff at Target- including the staff 9/10 times the staff is awesome (and of course the 1/10 might be someone having a bad day or that is just a poor fit.) The El Cajon location is updated- sucks that a lot of ghetto-ness goes on around the store and rude customers at that location many times but Target cant do anything about that. I get nervous going to that location but never regret it at the end because of the staff being kind and friendly.

Easy to find what I needed electronics associate was very helpful.

This past Saturday 4/19 - 3/4s of the spinach was a day past the sell by date on the shelf. Produce doesnt last long at all here, sliced mushrooms go bad within 2 days of purchase. Shame on me for grocery shopping at a retail store

I really like this store, all of the employees really seem to care about their customers . Michelle is always so nice.

Target is unique in itself, and many items are unique to it and cannot be bought any other place. They do however have a bunk ass policy for returns/exchanges without a receipt. Once youve reached a certain dollar amount threshold, you will have to wait 365 days before you can ever do a return w/out receipt for store credit again. Heck, you wont even be able to exchange a pair of jeans that might be 2 sizes too small, even if they are brand new and still have labeling. So, if you receive a pair of pants as a gift, for instance, and they dont fit, you will be stuck w/ pants that are useless and cant be warn once youve been put on that Target blacklist.. So, they pretty much suck.

A neat “little” Target, with clean and clear products, including one very special almond drink I love. It’s bright and aside from the employees being required to ask me about the infernal “Red Card”, it’s everything I’ve ever expected from a Target location.
