If you want to try true Iraqi home cooking meals, this place is the go to place.Yes, the restaurant is in a Middle Eastern Market, but don’t let it stop you from going there and actually choosing the meal you see right before your eyes. I have tried all of the dishes they offer and not one complaint. Also try their baked goods and products, they are made daily and very fresh.

Great middle eastern food. They have a few tables to eat in. Great set up for take out or large orders for parties or just dont want to cook. Just about anything you can think in Restaurant area. Produce has large variety as well as other middle eastern products and candy.

Foods at this place are terrible and dirty. Prices are so HIGH they steal your money by over charging you for the items that you purchase. Customer service is bad and staff are rude and unfriendly plus no one is wearing a face mask at all.The cold salads are old and the tomato thats been used smiles bad.Me and my kids got a Diarrhea at night after we ate some kabab Ive ordered for dinner from this place it sounds like the meat was old and unclean. Dont waste your money on this place.

I bought an international phone card, but when I came home it was scratched and used already. It was not convenient for me to go back. I went back anyways to the store the manager give me a new phone card, but I do not understand why they kept the scratched phone card on the first place. They did not apologize and I didnt liked their customer service because the manager hand me the card and looked at me as if I am lying like seriously who lies about $5 phone card.

This place is way overpriced compared to cali prices. I been all over cali, I ordered 6 shawerma sandwiches $6.99 each they didnt give me any fries with it . I swear this the worst I ever ate . There hardly any meat in it . The sandwich full of tomatoes, lettuce and pickles. Bought some figs, they were rotten in the bottom. Only 4 pieces good on the top.

So today I went into the store because I had bought some thing about a week ago. The thing that I bought was fresh or expired and it was very sour, so I threw it away in the trash. I spoke with the manager today but I am not going to mention his name, to tell him about the issue I had with the certain item. he laughed and made a joke and didnt even offer to give me a new one. After I complained about him and how poorly he treated his customer he then tried to offer me a new one. I told him no thanks in a very nice way. I think they lost a customer a long time customer for a item that cost $2.50. also their outrageous prices on toilet papers just shows what kind of business theyre running. Its pretty sad but I am thinking about taking my money and spending it somewhere else instead

During a visit to California from Detroit, My uncle suggested I visit this place to get sweets to give out a gifts for family and friends that I was visiting. I was worried at first because I never purchased anything from here before. I was very happily impressed, because everything I purchased was fresh and very well liked by everyone. On my first visit I purchased a trunk full of baklava and other goods. It was so good that I went back for more to give away to by business colleagues and friends. Staff was kind and friendly and the place was clean and easy to get in and out of.

Fresh prepared food and bakery items are amazing! You can order ahead for large quantities of kabob, rice, stews, salads. Food is fresh. Groceries are a great selection from other countries. I love it!

I went to buy groceries today and none of the kitchen employees were wearing gloves, some of them were directly touching the food and salads that are being sold. With the pandemic going on, that is very unsafe and unsanitary.

Place has very narrow aisles are not convenient for shoppers with the carts, more importantly employees favoritism which shopper is first or second as a result of store has no numbers to place the shoppers on a proper order for his turn to order. Organise shopping process.Place sign that butcher men will accommodate shoppers for cutting meat. Someone has excuses, saw is not working, the guy went home, we are closed etc.

This is amazing story. It made me feel I am in Baghdad. It contains every thing I need . I will visit it one more time before leaving San Diego.

Bad service in the restaurant section

The meat is not halal in despite they said that in their website but overall they have a good customers service.

This place hires refugees for lower than minimum wage. So expect terrible service. Check the expiration dates on everything. Deli workers handle your cash with the same gloves they use to make your food. Now imagine how many hands have touched those dollars, and how many germs are in them.... now it’s all in your food

I have been shopping there since 2011 but recently I had bad treatment with one of the guys over there. I purchased fish from them, and when I came home some of them had bad smells, so I told them to replace them, and they said we no gonna replaced, or either give your money back. I never seen like those greedy people. they have good stuff but they are very expensive. they always blame the customer, never go back. I do not recommend to any body.

For some peoples who would like to get less expensive produces/meats, here is the right place. They also sell ready to eat rotisserie whole chicken, kabobs, shawarma etc. There is dining tables inside the market. There are water vending machine behind the market.You need to be careful while parking your car, especially in the night. Parking location is not sufficiently bright.

I always go there and buy the bread and Im like 1 and half hour from them .I ordered the bread and the bakery told me to pay first and come get the bread and I did as she told me and I left the store. I forgot the bread and I called them in the same day they said whenever you come back ask for them will give em to you . However, I came today and I spoke to the manager and he said you have no receipt I can do nothing sorry. Thats bullshit.if the bakery told me to do that again I told her I wouldnt Ill pay when I get to the cashier. Witch is they have good prices and good .

I am not sure where to begin the food is absolutely wonderful the customer service is great the prices are more than reasonable they are low unbelievably low here you can get better food at lower prices than any fast or Full service restaurants you truly don’t know what you’re missing until you go eat there everyone is so friendly and well coming we went there a few times at different time of the day and we got the same treatment I promise you if you eat there you will never eat at A burger joints again.

This is an ethnic store that sells some cooked foods, fresh breads, a good selection of things from regular stores like meat, bulk dry foods, soda, cereal, some middle eastern and Mexican ethinic foods. They have good prices on produce but you have to be careful, some of its over ripe already. Im giving it a 1 star off because some produce is about to turn, as in use it today or else. And Im taking the 2nd star off because the store is too small making it very crowded and very hard to get in and out of the parking lot when they are busy.Their employees are great and I love the store but find myself shopping elsewhere because of these issues.

Very Arabic clientele and service. Good produce with some bunched herbs you cant find at typical markets (dill, mint, etc). Tandoor bread fresh baked in white and whole wheat. The bakery is kicking out breads, rolls, pastries and cookies based on the Arabic heritage. Fresh made kabobs, shwarma, chicken, fish, roasted veggies and tons of rice. The prepared foods Ive purchased there have been tasty and good quality. Really good hummus, tzatziki, and other dips. Well worth a visit.
