This business is a rip off. This man is a scam. I let him work on a old truck of mine and spent a couple of thousands to rewire it completely and very poor work O, he also leaves your vehicle on the street with the keys and open windows with no one around that should be working on your vehicle. Shame on him. Beware of this business.

Alameda Auto Electric fixed VERY complicated electrical problems on my Honda Civic & my car is back to normal. The dealership would’ve charged me an arm and a leg for these repairs, but they charged me reasonably especially with the amount of work they did on it. They are very professional, keep you updated on how your car is doing, they are very friendly, and will answer all the questions you have about your car.This is a small, family owned business that definitely deserves all the support because they do great work.Highly recommended.

As any woman occasionally dealing with car problems, Ive experienced a fair share of condescension and uncomfortable moments in auto shops. Often we are treated like we dont know anything and manipulated into paying for services we dont need. But here, Mario was extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem with my vehicle and explaining it in a clear and non-condescending way. Service is personable and friendly. Didnt even charge me for service to a minor problem with my gas tank heat shield. Highly recommend!

I have a 02 Honda thats been driving me crazy. It would stall and sometimes would not start. This shop went beyond of what I could of expected. I was stranded at work and they came to my place of work to diagnose the problem. They also have me a ride home and took the car. I was having this problem before and other shops could not figure out what was wrong with it. It took them several days to find out that the coolant sensor was causing car to run rich and flood the spark plugs. I have had it scanned at AutoZone and no codes were given. They also found out that the cooling fan was wired incorrectly causing the thermostat not to open. I am amazed on the quality of work that was done. It was worth what they charged me. Now they have another grateful customer.

If you have auto electrictrical problems BRING YOUR CAR/ TRUCK HERE!!!!!!! I have a high distrust for mechanic shops. Ive been burned before by them just like everyone else. I even had a pretty good idea of what was wrong with my truck before I came to this shop. In the first 5 minutes of meeting Mario he had my trust. He figured it out along with pinpointing other issues. Within a couple hours he had the part ordered, for a fraction of the cost at a dealership. And the part came with a warranty! The only slow part was the part coming in the mail but he has no control over that. He even has a payment system so you can go online, pay, and get a receipt sent to your phone. I can honestly say that this shop is the real deal for a great job and doing all they can to make it affordable on you. He gets 4.5 stars for the whole experience ( nobodys perfect but he was close) but Im giving him 5 stars because he deserves to be top of the search list.

I had an issue with my fuel pump last month. I took it to a local mechanic who ended putting in a used pump instead of a new one and messed up my car even more. After getting it back, I took my car to Alameda Auto Electric and it is probably the best decision ever. They put in a NEW fuel pump, cleaned my tank (because it needed cleaning), and put in a NEW sensor all for less than $300. Not only is their labor good, but Mario (the owner) and all of their staff are very nice people that are willing to work with what you have. I consider AAE my trustworthy mechanics to go to!

Ive always trusted local car shops more than chain shops. I arrived and asked the mechanic if he could fix a power lock on my door that wouldnt work. He told me to bring my car over to look at it and I did. He and 2 other guys were quick to start taking the door panel off along with the components underneath; they were diagnosing it at the same time too. Once they found out the issue they let me know what it was. They didnt have the part in stock for my vehicle so they searched through warehouses online and let me know where one was. I picked it up and returned and they installed it on the spot. They were friendly, honest people and I couldnt agree more on the price. Dont let the area or appearance deter you. I would come back again.

We were having some issues with our Jeep and decided to bring it here to get checked out. Well, it was the best decision we made. Great experience!! It’s hard to find an honest mechanic that is conscious of the customer and not his own. He was able to identify a short on my truck in a very timley manner. Later I took the truck in for a tune up and oil change and he helped me get the best parts and service without breaking the bank. On my third visit he installed a 6” lift kit, that as he started working on had a few set backs but he worked through them well and most importantly kept everything within budget. Real hard to find technotians that can work on mechanical issues as well as electrical issues.

Although we were not able to resolve my issue, AAE is beyond exceptional in customer service and automotive repair. They are extremely knowledgeable and explained to my understanding exactly what the issue was and what was required to correct it. They are a family owned company and exceeded our expectations.

I live in Las Cruces but driving the 45 minutes is definitely worth it for this place! I had a transmission problem and went to many repair shops in the surrounding ares. They all said the same: break your wallet to fix it or break your wallet on a new vehicle. Alameda Auto Electric Service was the only place to give me a good price and had it fixed in a timely manner. Now it runs better than ever! Wont be going anywhere else for any future auto problems.

I brought my mustang in because it had overheated and it continued to die on me. It made my AC stop working and to finish it off, my windows didnt work. Getting my car fixed was a definite priority. Not only were the able to get my car to stop shutting off, they were able to diagnose the problem as my water pump leaking water and not circulating correctly. They replaced my water pump in no time at all and this fixed my AC because now my car wasnt overheating. And they were also able to get my car windows to work without any trouble at all. Im definitely bringing my car here for all future repairs and I would highly recommend that anyone reading this review do the same!

Went here to see what was wrong with the train horn thats installed on my vehicle. The problem was troubleshot and fixed within 15mins. Staff is friendly and they work fast.

I went to this business because i read the reviews but i was deeply disappointed of their work. I had ectrical wiring fixed in my car but later came apart due to the bad fix. I told Mario to come and fix it and just said yeah later and never came to do so. By the way this was a $550 dollar fix which he did terribly now i have to take the car and have all of that done again and pay the other shop again. Zero stars if i could

I came in to get my brakes changed on my tiguan because apparently not just anyonw can change the brakes on these since they have to be deactivated throught a computer and no shop I called had the program or wanted to do it manually and risk damaging my brakes. These guys were amazing to me from the moment I walked in the door to minute I walked out. They were very affordable and very accomodating. I highly reccommend these guys.

Im giving it a one star because I cant give it a zero. I took my SUV about two or three weeks ago because it was having some problems with the sunroof. I left it thefe for about 4 days and up until now the problem hasnt been fixed and the guy has already been paid because he supposedly fixed it. After finding out that he didnt fix the problem I took it back I left it there for hours only to go back and find out he didnt do anything to it. He said he has to order the part that I had to tape the sunroof from the outside until the part arrived but why didnt he tape it himself? Its been about a week since he ordered the part, we called him today to ask him if he had gotten it and he said he had to check his mail. He still hasnt called back, thats another thing, weve told him we need more communication because he NEVER calls back or tells clients whats going on with the vehicle, the lack of communication from his part is ridiculous. I honestly dont understand how this business has such a good rating it sucks. This guy has been paid already, he guaranteed his work and hasnt done anything to my car.I see its easier to get a response from you through here than through a phone call because until now I still havent heard from any of you. Mario was supposed to call us back yesterday and he never did today he didnt call us either. About not getting any money for the part we did offer I was there with my husband and Mario said that once he ordered it he was going to charge us for it because he didnt know how much it was going to cost. And I get that it takes days for you to find the problem but since you do have the customers vehicle I would expect a call at least every other day to let the client know whats going on with it. Also about what if theres a recall for the sunroof dont bother because I had already called to check and it doesnt have one. I dont know why you say that you were going to fix it for free because the SECOND time we picked it up when my husband asked about the sunroof part he did ask about labor and Mario said there wouldnt be a charge but im confused because the first time we picked it up we paid a service fee and we were told that it was all fixed. I doubt you only charged the electrical and you were so kind to not charge the sunroof because like I said Mario thought he had fixed it. When I took it back the second time I did tell Mario that my concern was that the water was still getting inside the car and i had just gotten a new stereo, that stereo cost me over $600. He knew there was water on the top that he had already supposedly fixed and he didnt even take that water out, thats how I knew that the second time I left it there nothing was done to the truck because when I picked it up the water was still up there. Main point, my truck still isnt fixed and I still havent gotten a call back from any of you.

Hello everyone, just wanted to share my experiences w/ this shop. 1st of all GREAT WORK. Im very big on my car, and I had electric problems with my maxima. The taillights wouldnt come on, my spoiler break light wouldnt come on. So i found these guys and i showed up, and they had excellent professional service. They fixed all my electric problems, come to find out the previous store installed my spoiler wrong. So they fixed up the wiring and made it like new. on top of that i brought my maxima back and they reinstalled my new break light spoiler perfectly. so now Im back on the streets cruising. thanks
