My husband and I have worked with Mike at Reidland Auto over the course of many years. We trust Mike and his crew to do the job professionally and correctly the first time... sometimes when an issue is intermittent there needs time to diagnose and fix the issue. We have taken 2 of our cars and my Moms car there and they have done the job professionally and on time. Sometimes they need parts and the parts need to be located out of the area, this takes time, especially for an older car. We prefer to have the job done right... and Mike and his mechanics do that. If I could give zero stars I would. Came to this shop originally because of the mostly positive reviews and seemed like a solid family owned shop. Nice people but terrible service. Brought my truck in multiple times for the same issue for a waste of my time and money. Had them do a intake actuator and a knock sensor. Check engine light came back on for both about a week later. Brought it back for them to fix their mistake only for them to tell me to not worry about the knock sensor it’ll go away. I took their advice and it never did. I realized this on a drive to San Diego in the middle of nowhere. Lucky my truck didn’t break down on me. Brought it back to them to finally fix this issue only for them to have my truck for two days, couldn’t get them to answer the phone or call me back, for Mikey to tell me that theirs no knock sensor code! Him or his mechanic cleared the code and then checked again after maybe driving it for 5 minutes? All that after I explained to him the code only comes up after clearing, after about 300 miles. I again took his advice and went on my second trip to San Diego only for the check engine light to come back on. Took it to a local shop here and had it done within two hours and no more codes. This shop wasted my time, and my money.

Took moms car in for steering wheel noise, the car was supposed to be ready the following day. There was a problem with the replacement part, then had to replace the motor. 13 days later the car was finally ready to pick up. The frustrating issue was the lack of communication as to why there was a delay. The car was repaired and is running well.

Everyone was so kind! Apparently back at Hood the mechanics screwed up my breaks and could of caused my breaks to fail. I didnt know this of course, but when the guys at Reidland found it, they showed it to me. Luckily everything was under warranty and I didnt have to pay for new breaks. But very blessed the Reidland guys were thorough and found the issue. They made sure I was comfortable. Turned on Netflix for me and the best part was their furry welcome party. They have a dog there and shes so kind. So loved on me the whole time I was there while I watched Netflix. Haha. Its the little things I guess. It over all was a great experience and will continue to go to them while stationed in the area.

Omg! Best shop I have ever been to. Even when first calling to get a quote they were friendly I was put on hold but while on hold they checked on me n told me I was forgotten which I appreciated a lot! Once I got to the shop for a more detailed information n pricing the details I was given of what was wrong was explained extremely well! The mechanics explained everything to me and the owner. The office staff was awesome and friendly. The vibes walking into the shop where welcoming and friendly! My car was ready with in 2 hours! Incredible experience! Reasonable pricing!! Great honest people. Definitely will be my first choice shop!

Look I gave this place many chances needed my car fixed was willing to pay what they had asked the staff management and owner are literally the worst I understand covid has been rough but DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! They had its for Months! I Would go occasionally gate was locked during day time, ok bars are already open strip clubs are already Open why would a 4 man mechanic shop Not be open?? Didnt answer the phone would never call back and at the end did nothing just wasted time so I would give it ZERO if possible but you should of seen how fast they went for my car lol the worst remember I told you so.

I am thoroughly impressed with owner Mike Jr and his father, Mike Sr. I have worked with several small auto businesses and this one is well run, honest and thorough. I had work done to a high end sports car and this team handled it like it was their own. Not only did they know exactly what they were doing, they kept me informed of progress by emailing me pictures of what they were doing. I consider myself detail oriented and meticulous; this team left me impressed. Thank you fellas.

Great customer service and vehicle service.

Had an appointment on a Friday 8am to have ac checked. Told them ac was blowing hot air. They call @2:45 to tell me they didnt know what was wrong with it. The only thing the did was put freon in it. Thought I would hear from them on Monday.....NO. Oh and the website and voicemail says they are open 8am to 5pm. NO they are not, .they close at 3p. Covid .Charged me 90.13 for 5 dollars of freon. Never answered calls or messages. So I wasted 2 + days and 90 dollars. He didnt print out and invoice . just a receipt, Ill just wait for Karma.

Mike Reidland and the guys at Reidland Auto are great. They went far beyond anything that was required to get my vehicle repaired. I would recommend them to anyone. They are honest, knowledgeable and keep you fully informed on progress.

I took my camaro in to have the blend door replaced for the air conditioning. It took several days longer than the quote. The technician scratched the dashboard in 3 places, broke the electronic control to the passenger seat, left grease smudges on the seat and interior, and broke a wiring harness cable which he attempted to splice. This caused the mylink display to not work and the ac to intermittently work. I didnt know about the splice attempt at the time, but the radio screen was out when they gave it back to me. They told me the radio needed to be reset by a dealer, but when I brought it in, the dealer showed me the attempted splice of the cable, which is actually a bundle of several wires, so it cant simply be spliced as if it was one wire. Mike Jr told me the technician said the splice was already there, but the Chevy dealer confirmed that the mylink screen would not have worked previously if that were the case. Mike said he would refund half of what I paid, but he ended up costing me 4x as much for the damage his shop caused, so I insisted he pay for the full repair. He has ignored my calls and text messages since I provided him quotes on the repair, and it has been over a year, but I will not give up.

Absolutely the best place to get anything done on my car. I would return again. They explained so much about my car that I didn’t know and now looking to get my brakes on my other car replaced with them! They really are amazing people.

Awesome service totally amazing. My vehicles always run great after service. Been using this shop for years. They have replaced a transmission for me. Done some complicated engine work. And Ac services. Totally satisfied and highly recommend Reidland Automotive Repair.

This would be the 2nd time Ive gone to Redland Auto and have no regrets! I absolutely love the care they have for their customers and the quality of work they provide to make sure your vehicle comes out working 100%. I just wish I had found out about them earlier however, Ill be passing out recommendations for those in El Paso!

Mike Reidland is a very dishonest mechanic. No integrity at all. I asked him if he could put together my 1963 Chevy C10 pick up truck June of 2017. I gave him 11 things to do. 1 make a wire harness. 2 take fuel cell from behind seat to relocate in back of bed, 3 fix a small hole the size of a quarter on the driver side floor. 4 put the windows on the driver side doors and handles. 5 put the wooden bed on. 6 put seat belts in. 7 mount the bench seat. 8 mount the rearview mirror. 9 put side mirrors on the door. 10 install front and rear bumper. 11 put new steering wheel on. If Mike would have just done one thing a month he would have been finished. Instead he did half of one. Half done wireharness that now I have to pay someone to check it and finish it. I provided all the parts for Mike Reidland. I gave him 4000.00 dollars in October 2017 to get my truck going. From June 2017 until October 2017 he did nothing to my truck. He started my wireharness in November 2017. He finished a half done wireharness in May of 2018. Mike started off telling me he would have my truck done in November 2017. Then he said December 2017. Then January 2018 came. After January he started to say he need two more weeks. I final went to see the truck in May of 2018, and I saw my truck full of dirt with scratches on the paint job. I picked up my truck 343 days later. Ive asked Mike for a invoice, and its been two weeks. Still no invoice. This is not a restoration guarge. Mike gave me every excuse. Do yourself a favor find a different mechanic that knows what hes doing. Im writing this review, so he doesnt take advantage of anyone else. Mike is incompetent as a owner, and as a mechanic. Awesome staff with good quality no BS service

My father is a truck driver and while in El Paso his truck broke down and came here to get it fixed. The mechanic forgot a few bolts which caused my dads truck to break down yet AGAIN and have the same repairs done AGAIN as well as replacing belts caused by the missing bolts. would NEVER come here again. If they forget to screw on bolts they could probably forget about lug nuts too! And they would not refund me for services I did not get and parts I needed to replace after their complete negligence!
