If it was possible to rate below one star I would. I ordered a custom holster in April and did not receive it until July. The communication with the staff is almost nonexistent because they do not return phone calls. After numerous calls to “Dan”, who trash talks the General manager saying the reason things run so poorly is because of his inept ability to run the company, I finally received my holster. The belt did not even come close to fitting and all of the measurement guidelines were followed to precision. Dan had me send the holster back and assured me they would fix it right away and send it back to me. Dan will not respond and I still do not have a holster I paid over $600.00 for back in April. This is a horrible company. Take your business to a company that appreciates it and services their customers.

Ordered their products ($200) worth about 1 month ago. The next day they charged my account. Since then no communication from them and none to my e-mails - asking for update/feedback. Called their number (their voice mailbox was full) another recording that they were weeks behind on fulfilling orders due to COVID. Maybe they have good products but their Customer Service is very poor. My first and last order!

Just received my 1930 Austin holster today. The ol’ saying “good things come to those who wait “ is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!! The craftsmanship is AMAZING!!! This is my 2nd holster from EPS and I’ll never buy anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you’re buying anywhere else you are not getting the best money can buy. I have not had a good experience with this company. They have been very slow to process my order and have been uncommunicative about it. I understand the process and that it takes time. That “slowness” doesn’t bother me. But when the processing time got extended by months, the company never notified me. I had to track down the information. I emailed and no one responded. I called and left a voicemail and no one called me back. I called again, told them I wanted to check on the status of my order, the employee took my name and said he’d call me back in a few minutes, but he never did. I am STILL trying to get answers from them. They processed my $200 payment five months ago, I still have not received the product, and no one can be bothered to return my calls or emails. Do not buy from this company!

El Paso Saddlery is the only place I buy holsters and belts, have done so for many years and I am always impressed with their quality and workmanship. Yes the turnaround time is not the fastest and there are certainly cheaper holsters; however, if you want a quality product that you will be able to hand down to your children there is no substitute.As for customer service, I have never had a problem reaching someone on the phone and they have always answered my questions and gone above and beyond to make sure my order is correct. Remember, quality takes time.

Ordered a holster early August 2020. I was well aware of the 8-12 week lead time as it states on their website. It’s been approximately 11 weeks and had not heard anything. I decided to call and inquire as to my order status. A female told me it’s now a 12-15 week lead time. I then asked if I provided my order number, could they see where my order was? Was told they can’t check an order status. They are only able to check if an item has shipped. I’ve read some of the reviews here and now I’m even less hopeful this is going to end well. I’m not happy with this process here. I guess if you don’t mind paying for an item well in advance with an unknown completion date go for it. However, I have an event and a hunting trip coming up at the end of November that I need this holster for. Good luck. Will edit or advise if or when I receive the holster.Update: I did message them as they stated in their response. During our conversation, I was told they needed an additional two weeks and my holster would ship. I did receive the holster and I’m very impressed with the craftsmanship and quality of the holster. I would definitely order from them again. If you have the time to wait, it’s top notch! Definitely need to work on better communication and order updates though.

Ive purchased online from them before, but being in El Paso on business, I wanted to see for myself their store. I was surprised by a guided tour of their facility and total manufacturing process. Purchased a trap and skeet pouch to fit on on my river belt to match my sporting clays pouch. I know times are tough but I waited 7 months to get it and it won’t fit on the belt, I’ve tried everything.

Absolute rotten business demeanor and level of professionalism from what is advertised as a pillar in the holster world and cowboy arena. Poor communication and response to voicemails and email inquiries regarding an expensive rig purchased at the beginning of May. Have been told on several accounts that the product was complete and would ship out the following week. It is now October and no received item or update. I understand the constraints and delays with the pandemic, but don’t appreciate being lied to. I can only hope to receive my rig by Christmas 2020, but have lost optimism at this point. Better luck to all of you cowboys or gun lovers out there, as I’m very disappointed! After reading other reviews, it is apparent I’m not alone. Can’t even find a process to fight for a refund. I wonder what the BBB would have to say in terms of business professionalism.

16 weeks waited so far, after 8 to 12 week leadtime was given when i paid. I am giving up on the status calls and status email requests. They must think their reputation for quality is enough that they can run this business as poorly as they do. I would love a refund but cant get anyone on the phone, and wouldnt trust them to execute the refund properly even if they did call or email me back. Wish i had read the reviews before i ordered.UPDATE: And MIKE- thanks for your response, but i cant private message you and i dont use facebook. Thanks for being willing to help....however, you have the information you asked for. Its in every email and voicemail left in the phone number and email address that youre website gives. The action that needs to occur is on YOU. Chase it down. I shouldnt need to hand feed you the info you already have, and what you auggest about contacting you privately- those arent valid avenues to report. I ordered a holster in July 2020. It’s now the end of November. I call them about once a week and they usually don’t answer the phone. On the rare instances they do answer, they tell me they’ll look into it and call me back the next day. They never call back. I called them one month ago and they looked up the order and he told me it was just sent out and I’ll have it within a week. Now when I call them they say it’s still at the factory. They’ve ignored me and lied to me too many times. This is the single worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. It’s almost been half a year! I’m going to try and get a refund. Dont do business with them . Ordered full El Paso speed rig and a shotgun belt with shell stamping (extra cost) on 1/20/20. Received the holsters with no belt and the shotgun belt with no shell stamping 9 weeks later. Apparently they forgot to make the belt. After emailing them, Im convinced Im just not getting it. Quality of the items I received is average compared to other rigs Ive seen. Would not recommend.

Just received my second Walker holster.Identicle to the first they made me about 30 years ago except a mirror image (lefty). Real pleased that this time they put a nice hammer thong. Not happy with the wait time. Called and spoke with a guy who didnt really care about my concerns. He told me I had to wait 8 to 12 weeks for my order. When I asked for a refund he said I could have a partial refund for an order that was not shipped. He then told me that I had to wait several days for a status on my order. I will never shop here again.based on his demeanor, Im not expecting a call back.

I received my El Paso Speed Rig from El Paso Saddlery about a week ago. After I ordered my rig is when I started reading reviews about El Paso Saddlery. I must admit I was worried about what I was going to receive. I received my package in the time frame they promised, just short of ten weeks. When I opened the package I was blown away, absolutely beautiful craftsmanship I was in awe. Much more than I expected, attention to detail superb. When I put my guns in the holsters and look in the bottom opening of the holster, both barrels are exactly 1/32 from the stitch line. Thats craftsmanship! Fit is perfect, I am completely satisfied with my rig and El Paso Saddlery. Thanks to all at El Paso Saddlery and God Bless.

First things first I have read Peoples reviews And I find the Negative to be probably not true I i just done business with El Paso S bought me a $300 shoulder holster and as promised it was to me within 6 to 8 weeks with the highest quality that I’ve seen in any Leather Unfortunately we had misunderstanding about speed loader and I also didn’t know you could line your holster.gave them a call informed them that speed loaders were wrong and also just found out I could line my holster So they asked me to send back in.with zero hassle got the speed loaders fixed and they even had to build a new holster to re- line for me and didn’t give me Any grief or Have me pay extra To rebuild holster only had to pay charge for the Lining . If you want top quality leather and craftsmanship it takes time so people need to understand that and I don’t see these people not fixing their mistakes after what they just did for me I’m talking zero hassle at all .told them what I needed they did it and sent it back to me no questions asked. I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else for my Leather now, It’s a little wait but it’s definitely worth it.

Two things:5 star holster and belt. Theyre absolutely gorgeous and quality made. I mean beautiful. my revolver fits perfectly. I got a full flap holster for a revolver with the extra fancy engraving.1, maybe 2 star customer service. I got the usual 8-10 week email. I emailed to check in after 12 weeks and got no response. After 13 weeks I called and spent 30 minutes on the phone with a gal who was very sweet and took care of me...eventually. They lost my order. It was in their system but somehow nobody got to it. The lady I spoke to apologized sincerely and said they would put a rush on the order and have it out the door in 2 weeks. I got the UPS tracking email exactly 2 weeks later and today my holster arrived.The holster is so nice that it almost makes up for the 15 week wait. I would order from El Paso Saddlery again but Ill know to write them early on to make sure they got my order and Id remember to not be in a hurry...

I found these guys at the NRA convention in Dallas. I paid cash for a dog collar and thought these guys were great. They treated me very well. I was told shipping was free and I would get my dog collar in about two weeks. After three weeks I started calling to check status on my order. Left a voice message, no reply. Called several more times before someone answered. Once I was able to speak to someone I was told he would call me right back that he needed to check his buckle status. That was about 10 days ago and still nothing. Guess Im not getting my dog collar. Im just glad I held off ordering a holster.....

Originally I was a touch annoyed with the 3 month wait time, but understandably, masterful craftsmanship takes its time. I ordered the 1930 Austin Holster with the floral pattern and it looks absolutely amazing and fits my Colt SAA army like a glove. Im over the moon with it. Just knowing El Paso Saddlery has been around since 1889 making gun leather for over a century feels like a real piece of history. 😉

Spent $160 on a full flap holster for my ruger single six. Ordered the exact holster for the same model and barrel length. When it arrived 2months later I found the flap wouldnt close with the pistol in the holster defeating the whole purpose of the holster. So I spent $160 and waited 2months for a nice useless piece of leather. Edit: i ended up wetting the leather flap and stretching it until it fit properly and then left the pistol in the holster for it to conform. it works beautifully now.

Bought a shoulder holster from them 2 years ago and have worn it daily. Extremely happy with the fit and function of their leather goods. My 1911 stays snug to my side without the need for tie downs and on several occasions I have forgotten I was even wearing it at home because of its great comfort level. Last week I noticed Id lost an adjustment screw and after contacting El Paso Saddlery they sent me not one but FOUR replacement screws completely free of charge. Great customer service, great product. They hand-make each order so you will need to be patient, but they are worth waiting for!

Was visiting El Paso/New Mexico area and heard about this company from Hickok45 so I decided to stop by to see if they had anything for my new Vaquero 7 1/2. I wanted a crossdraw because the barrel was so long and any belt would do. The gentleman at the front desk helped me out and as it turned out, the exact holster I was looking for was the only one they had in stock (lucky me). Yes, the shop is dimly lit, yes its hard to find, yes there is no place to park, but so far, Ive been extremely happy with their product. Would only recommend them if you can visit them in person due to the reviews Ive read about non-responsive calls and emails.

Very hard place to find, but once I got in I was treated very well. They have a ton of holsters in stock and spent time with me to make sure I had one with the perfect fit. After I picked up 2 holsters they took me around there shop and explained how they make all there leather products. Despite all the negative press, I decided to order a holster. I emailed the general email about a few questions I had, they responded within a reasonable amount of time. I placed my order for a tanker holster with a dyed background and a liner. The holster arrived in 11 weeks. The quality was high, the stitching was tight, and the dyed background added some extra character. Very satisfied.

Horrific customer service, they do not answer emails at all. I dont even know why the provide a customer email address! Called in to discuss my order and seemed like the lady could not wait to get me off the phone and that I was bothering her. Received the product three weeks late and it was not what I wanted and the cartridge loops had been sewed way to small. I had to literally beat my 45 long cartridges in the loops with a rubber mallet. Folks dont use these people, Kirkpatrick leather company is was better priced and way better quality and they are most all FRIENDLY!!!!

Im getting a bad feeling.I have bought from El Paso for years. Always good quality and good customer service. Now I doubt they are the same company. I sent two emails, one website contact form, and made two phone calls asking about delivery estimate for my recent order.The emails and contact form were ignored. The phone calls are answered by an automated machine and my messages never replied to.I paid via paypal and now wonder if I should cancel my order and put in for a paypal resolution since I doubt a request for a cancellation to El Paso will get any better response than my prior requests for order status info. This is a shame. They were a trusted and quality company once.

I ordered a Tanker holster for my Sig on July 7th via the website. No contact after the order aside from the confirmation. Next I heard, the holster was shipping via UPS and arrived on 8/1. It fit the firearm perfectly. I ordered it lined and it was nicel done. Boning was well done. The edges could have been a tiny bit smoother but I was very pleased with the product. Quicker than expected and an excellent product. I am in the website now looking at a 1927 for my Smith auto.

VERY, VERY POOR SERVICE I ordered a holster, mag pouch and a belt on Nov. 17, 2017. Received a confirmation # immediately. It is Feb. 12, 2018 and I have not heard from them nor received any of the items I have ordered. I have called more than a half a dozen times, but can only get their voice mail (Leave a Message---- I have left multiple messages). I have also sent them e-mail messages asking for an up-date or someone to call me regardiNg my order. They have not responded to those either. Mass quantity has replaced individual quality at this business. The holsters they make today are thin leather, poorly stitched, and not dyed properly. You wait 10 to 12 weeks or longer to receive a holster that doesnt fit correctly. Poor customer service too. Dont waste your time here.

Ordered in July after calling and e-mailing specific needs for a new SIG 1911 with rail. Received end of Sept. Did not fit. Sent back for repair (we have a no questions asked policy, just send it back). Tracking says they got it 10-2-15. No holster yet, 6 weeks later. Called 2X, e-mailed 3X. No response yet. Found out EL Paso Saddlery has an F rating with the BBB. Order from this business at your peril!

I would give Zero stars if it would allow me. I spent $216 on a black belt with ammo loops and a crossdraw holster. Lead time was 8 weeks when I ordered. It took over 12 weeks for it to show up and it had shipped without sending me a notification. When I finally received it, I found the holster was not the one I ordered and the holster and belt left black dye all over my gun and light pair of jeans... As far as the holster and belt construction I was genuinely underwhelmed and dissatisfied. Save your money and time, Buy elsewhere...

I ordered a holster for a Sig Sauer P220 on the internet. On the receipt and email from the company, it advised 8-10 weeks for delivery. After numerous phone calls and 14 weeks later, I finally have the holster. The quality seems to be good but the customer service and communication isnt. Thats why I rate it at a 2 star. I will think long and hard about ordering from here again.

I have to say I expected more given the price and image viewed on their site. The leather was thin, no visible site grove, a poor gun fit, single stitching, slow shipping! The price was higher than Ive paid for any of my current holsters and feel I was ripped off! Given their return police, I wont bother! Live and learn. Not Recommended!

So i read all the bad reviews after i had ordered the rio grande rig (single holster) and they made me kind of nervous. They get stars for quality, the full CAS rig is nice in that regard. But the whole customer experience stinks. Ordered in January, called in April to see where my stuff was, then told it got in one system but not the other. Sorry, no rush, still 4-6 weeks (actual was about 7-8). No sorry, no gesture with a shipping discount, just too bad. Calls to customer service were handled tersely, its obvious they care juuuuusssstttt enough about the customer experience to do the bare minimum, but no more. The only thing that was on the spot was charging my CC, that happened immediately after my April phone call.

El Paso Saddlery appears to produce some of most functional and beautiful gun leather products Ive seen in years. Conversely, they have the worst person answering their phone I have experienced in years. As a result, Ill never know.Today, I called at 2:35 PM EDT (12: 35 PM El Paso, TX time) to obtain specifics on three holsters because my gun manufacturers info was not listed on their website. The call taker kept putting me on hold while she went to ask someone else for the answers. Finally, after the fourth round of Q & hold & A I asked to speak directly to the person she was consulting, but she said: No, hes at lunch. So, I called back a half hour later. At 3:05 PM EDT (1::05 PM El Paso, TX time) I asked to speak to the person who could answer questions about holsters for xxxx brand pistols.Again, No, hes at lunch. At this I asked, when will he be back? Response: He be back in two hours at 3 oclock. So, I asked: Is there anyone at El Paso Saddlery who wants to sell some holsters? A manager, the owner, anyone? Response: They all at lunch. So, apparently lunch runs from at least 12:35 PM through 3:00 PM daily at El Paso Saddlery.I give up. Safariland / Bianchi, GALCO, DeSantis, your phones will be ringing.

I dont like writing negative reviews about companies in my local area, but I feel like got seriously ripped off. I guess I cant return it becasue it was a special order and thier return policy, bla, bla..... The inside-the-waste-band holster for a 1911 was paper thin and the most flimsy gun leather product Ive ever seen. For $80, I could have done much better shopping in Juarez, Mexico.P.S. If I had read the other postings here before placing my order, I would known not to shop at this business.

Horrible place. its a cave. I feel sorry for anyone who has to work there. Robert and his pet elephant, nick are a living, breathing sideshow act. the tour is a joke, you might catch something in that hole! cheap quality, long wait times, shady characters (Robert) and owners in the dark. take your money elsewhere. RUN!!
