Awesome people. Listen to you and really understand that your ride is you personality and pride. New clutch and new pretty lights and very reasonable. Even fixed a bad ground on my reverse motor. Your my go-to from now on. Thanks guys for all you do. Will definitely recommend you all.
I had a good experience recently on my visit to RGS. Joe came out and explained in full detail what cool accessories would fit on my bike. Im glad he runs a tight ship and his staff is very knowledgeable as well... Thanks RGS
Excellent service and staff. This is NOT your run-of-the-mill corporate sponsored shop. These folks are real people who give AF. Joe is top-class and always gives the time to me when Im here. I do most of my own work but will always use RGS for tires, inspections and anything else I cant get done.
Im so glad someone on Reddit recommended RGS to me. I approached the owner, Joe, with a complicated situation regarding my fathers Harley and requested his advice/assistance. He immediately agreed to help, was patient and meticulous in explaining things, and has been absolutely awesome about communication. Plus he just genuinely seems like a good person. Today I spoke at length with his son Adam, who was equally helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming.Theyre helping make a very difficult situation a bit easier to manage, and although I dont ride myself, I wont hesitate to recommend them to anyone who so much as mentions the word motorcycle to me.
First time there fast very helpful serves would highly recommend 💯👍
Best motorcycle shop in El Paso. Joe and Fam are dedicated team!
A great place to meet and good people, and get some work done.
Very helpful and good prices.
Great knowledge of parts. Friendly service
Great service and friendly service! They left my Hartley running like new. Worth the price.
Joe and the guys at RGS are awesome to work with. Im glad that, I took my bike there to get all my work done.
All staff is always couteous and very helpful.
Great place to get your bike fix and great service from all the crew from employees and the owner. Your feel welcome and apart of the brand.
Didnt have any work done here so cant speak on behalf of their mechanics. But the own was super friendly, answered all my questions honestly. And gave me a fair price on what i eventually need done to my Harley.Roughly bout 250 bucks cheaper than what Barnett-Harley was quoting me.
The best and only mortorcycle shop on the Westside of town
Joe and his crew at RGS are wonderful! Very knowledgeable and skilled. Dont let the name fool you - they work on everything - vintage V-twin, vintage European, complete custom builds, basic maintenance, etc. Theyll even build you a scoot with a sweet banana seat and frilly tassles if you want.
Awesome peoples
Best shop in EP for your motorcycle repairs and maintenance. Great prices and good people.
Always helpful. Good repair techs.
Bad customer service The Mechanic Dave wrenched on my bike messed up my seat and cracked a protective cover on my brand new Grom. The owner didnt want to own up and pay for the damages nor did I mechanic want to fess up to his screw up. They blame the bike was dirty with bird poop and that is already there. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before I went there.Dont let them fool you with an excuse response.. Lets see what bull theyll come up with for this review.
Also found this place by accident, but glad I did. Rio Grande Shovelheads provide a wide range of services for bikes, whether you need to maintain, repair or upgrade your ride, and their prices are very reasonable while getting you back on the road quickly. The owner, Joe, an Army Vet, and his entire staff, including Dave and some of the other fellows, have always gone the extra mile to take care of my bikes. They have always been very honest and dont try to oversell you maintenance or repairs you dont need. Thats one of the main reasons why I continue to bring my bikes here. They also put out some decent bike nights on the west side.
Great service and people! They can handle all your needs! I highly recommend them, they do it all!
Look. im a new bike owner.i have ridden many bikes before, i wanted to take my newly bought but used 2001 honda shadow to some random place but deep inside me i knew i i need to take it to a professional for a job well done, i gave them a try and they where not like other places were they just want you out the door and care not for your safety, they made sure i was safe to ride the bike, the price was fair, i did not got some rip off used tires.the bike looked awesome with the new tires and rides smooth like they said it would.they made sure the job they do they do it with care and are proud to show the job they did.there is no other better place to take it. i know where to take my bike if i wanted it treated with carethey will be seeing me again many times hopefully till my grandsons take their bikes there.
Great service and friendly staff.
Came into this place by accident I was here for work and met the owner Joe. He is one passionate individual you can see the excitement he gets just from talking about his shop and business. This is not just a bike shop he has so many other machines to do many other jobs. Plus he gives back to the community come check this place out youll be pleased.
Little out-of-the-way spot they do good work have bikes for sale
Have done business with RGS for years, have brought him my classics and my 2016 screaming eagle street glide 56k bike.. recently bought a custom from them, they are courteous, knowledgeable, and honest. I’ve never been billed more than what I was quoted, I’ve never had issues of any kind with carelessness and as I stated be my bike a 74 or a 2016 they have always taken great care of me including staying after hours to get me on the road. Joe, Paul, and Troy have always taken great care of me and taken time to really explain everything.
Great dedicated enthusiastic talented staffWould not trust my bike to anyone else
Excellent shop! Paul did a great job on my engine!
We bought a custom Harley at this place that was on consignment they were selling for someone that had put it together apparently from parts from all over with assembly following no rhyme or reason. It looked fine. Heck they got it to run fine as well. We saw the technicians at this shop working on it and saying what a grand custom bike it was with high valued parts. Well, after we bought it we had it looked over by a Harley Mechanic who is now basically rebuilding the bike. It was jammed together. Cost for the bike at this shop-$5,000. I guess it helped the owner with cancer who had to sell this bike. Our first clue should have been the frame had no identifying parts. Anyhow, the rebuild? $2500. At least they could have sold it to someone who knew Harleys and could have worked on it himself. But wait! Then he would have know the bike was crap and negotiated the price down! Yes, even motorcycles should be looked over by an Independent mechanic!! Bad. Bad, business.
Great shop that always does great work
Great shop. Took my bike in for service and to cerakote the exhaust. After getting it back, I found a blemish. I talked to Joe and he told me to bring it back in. They completely redid the exhaust no questions asked. Their shop is all about their customers satisfaction and will make it right if there are any issues. Again great work and Reasonable prices. Definitely recommend Rio Grande Shovelheads. Ill be back in for more work soon.
Everyone is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Ive had my 04 Road King there several times and am a highly satisfied customer. I highly recommend their work
Noah picked up my bike on time and Joe was great explaining work done on my ‘99 sportster. It’s running great now!
Great service. Reasonable prices.
An outstanding business that stands by their work. I got a service with them on my street glide at a reasonable price. Afterwards I had a saddlebag come off on the interstate from what I believe may have been an improper attachment. The owner took me on my word and replaced both of my saddle bags. This is what ethical business practices are all about and I highly recommend them.
I called and right away Joe answered all my questions. Also my bike is my only transportation and i was worried about getting my bike to the shop. Joe asked my address and came for my bike!!! Great people, great service, amazing work!!
Always busy, best to call for an appointment.
Overly priced and dont seem to get much work done the bike came out pretty much the same as it went in it actually lost some top speed somehow no idea what they did and never gave me back my original parts when I gave them the then the replacements when I had explicitly asked for my original after they took them off
Great people! They work on all sorts of motorcycles. Good work at a fair price. Will recommend and use them again!
Great shop! Always helpful and do not overcharge. The owner is a Veteran and is involved in the community. I recommend this shop!
They sold me the wrong rear brake pads for my Sporty, I went back and had a no hassle exchange for the right ones. This is a place that I honestly believe cares about their customers
Great people great service reasonable prices
I bought a motorcycle here recently. Theyve always been very professional and have good ethics. I would defintely buy from them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for custom work.
Very cool guys, great place for parts and service.
Been trying to get ahold of them for a while now and I get no response worst experience I’ve ever had..... I would rate you negative but I can’t so I gave them a star...
Helpful people. Mechanics will oddly stare at you though.
They have done lots of work on all my bikes. Mechanics are superb the staff is friendly and very helpful. I travel 80 miles one way to use their shop. I highly recommend them.
Great service and friendly people
This is the place you want to go when you want bike work done hands down. Everyone is knowledgeable and want to help you get riding instead of ripping you off
Cool guys, hooked me up last minute with a tool I really needed. These are my go to guys now that I live nearby
Did business with them. they are professional old school knowledgeable friendly etc......old schoolers. I highly recommend their work and service.MANNER: When possible, help out other bikers on the road who are in trouble. Teach those who want to learn and never think you know more than them.Shovelhead FTW!
Awesome. They fixed an oil leak problem on my Red .. and the powder coated the engine for me. Thanks RGS team!!!!
Very professional,excellent customer service!!
They do good work, and nice and professional staff.
Had em put apes on my 99 electra glide, awesome job, also had a problem with my vtx 1300 making a click clack sound whenever i hit the rear brakes, they fixed that, and they even bled my front brake (which i didnt even ask them to mess with). this will be the shop that sees my bikes again. couldnt be more happy with the service. oh yea..the staff is kick ass
RGS was very professional and knew exactly what needed done. The owner was very down to earth good group of guyes
I love my boys
Great place to get the bike worked on
Very Pleasing and enjoy talking and helpful.
Very shady business. Bought a bike from them believed to be a clean title only to get a letter from the DMV that the mileage of the bike is not actual mileage. They buy wrecked/auctioned bikes and piece them together (poorly). Not worth the savings compared to an actual clean title bike with no issues. Will never go back, and would not recommend to anyone.
Excellent service. They went above and beyond...
My experience with RGS left me feeling that the owner is not a man of his word, will never deal with him again.
Great bunch of guys
Fun
Best service
