Rented a trailer from this U-Haul and had a great experience. We had trouble with the trailer hitch, they fixed it quickly. Trouble with the tail lights, fixed it quickly. Blown fuse, went out of their way to help us fix it. Everyone that helped us went above and beyond to get us out of the parking lot with a great U-Haul experience. Probably one of the best rental experiences Ive had in 20+ years of renting U-Hauls. Would definitely go out of my way in El Paso to rent from this shop again. Thanks again.

My wife and I needed a 10 foot truck to move some furniture today. And we just drove down to this U-Haul where we met an actual quite professional Adam Cooper. Mr. Cooper stopped what he was doing and introduced himself, and had us on our way within 15 mins. We had not problem with the return and Mr. Cooper helped us refill our propane tanks which was at a far better price than the local grocery store (Cough Walmart cough). It is refreshing to deal with an actual professional, who knows exactly what he is doing. I highly recommend Adam Cooper, and U-Haul for being smart enough to have him on staff...

I went several times to fix a problem and the general manager said he supposedly fixed it and he only lied because they still keep taking out money from my bank account. Don’t trust this place.

People are super rude, super unhelpful - I work in real estate and my office is across the street and my work involves moving clients in and out of homes. I was looking for a reliable service to help clients and was completely let down. The people here have no patience for the smallest things and are in no way willing to provide good customer service. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE !!! THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU AND ARE RUDE !!

Uhaul charges you $100 security deposit thats not charged to your account although in my case it actually was charged. I had to waste my time chasing customer service to return that money only for them to refund 29.95. Will not be using uhaul again and will be advising others to use a different company to avoid this problem.

Terrible customer service, they will not accept VA award letter as a proof of residence or documents from the DMV. No military discount. And good luck having them answer the phone, the call center I connected with had no information and said they would contact the store and contact me back, hours later no call, good luck with U haul research discounts on other companies before going to U Haul.

I stopped in the day before to make a reservation for a car transporter. I met with their employee and described what I needed and the vehicles I was going to transport. A “ vehicle specific” car hauler was reserved for the following day between 9-10 am. I arrived the following day at 10 am to find that my reservation was not in the system. And their car hauler couldn’t be used to transport my vehicles. Having made specific plans and arrangements for this, it really caused me a major problem. For my trouble, i received an insincere apology. I was going to haul a 2004 civic and a 2007 Toyota Avalon. Strange but i have seen them being transported on their car haulers. So there was something strange about this revelation. Rent at your own risk. Next time I’ll rent from “Rent my Trailer”, a local company that is less expensive than this place. Good luck.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Man behind the counter was extremely rude to us and tried to send us to another location. he kept exasperatedly muttering things under his breath like I should have just taken my lunch . We rented a dolly and they didnt give us the dolly. I didnt notice till we got home and I had to drive back to get it. When I walked in the guy refused to help me and told me that you can grab it, there is a guy in the garage. on top of all that He didnt take our information down correctly . we told him we needed it over night and he put the return time for the same day at 1050pm? we called customer service to extend the time and to add an extra day. we showed up to turn it in about 10 min before they closed, yet when we arrived the same man walked outside and said that they were closed and we would have to use the night drop. We did as we were instructed and left. they charged me over 420 dollars for a 2 day rental they are claiming was 4 days and charged me for the night drop even though I was there before they closed! I will never visit this location again or use uhaul at all .

Great source for moving supplies. Boxes are cheaper than anywhere else. Nice people work here. Always have plenty of supplies.

This U-Haul is well run, clean, friendly and helpful. The absolute only reason I didnt give 5 stars is that the parking lot is very, very small and hard to park in or pick up a trailer in. This is not exactly their fault as they have the land that they have, and short of some humongous renovation project, this wont change. Or they could change the flow of traffic to actually drive around behind the building and back out again to get you headed the right direction again. However, they are very helpful, as I said, and will pull the trailers up to your truck and hook them up. Likewise, theyll just tell you to pull straight in when dropping off, and theyll disconnect and push/pull the trailer to where it goes. So, is actually give them 4.5 stars if I could. Dont think they can do this with the larger trailers.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION, they are thieves!!They charged me 500 dlls for a 19.99 truck which i refueled and use it for three hours, employees are rude and useless.

I came here like any another customer in El PasoWith my father, we proceeded inside and my dad asked about a van in Spanish. The worker turned around and answered can you speak English in a very condescending/rude manner. He had a hat on backwards and looked like he was chilling at home in his U-Haul uniform. Thats when another worker came in and fretted us politely and asked what was going on. He asked the man with two working brain cells if he wanted to help us and he simply said no. This felt very awkward and it made us feel like he had something against us. We did the usual U-Haul thing. The point is nobody with this demeanor should ever in the front of the store. A guy with his skill set belongs in the back, or at home not in a business of any kind. The workers werent even wearing name tags so I couldnt tell you his exact name, but I believe I overheard it being Erick. If I had to guess Id say his U-Haul takes no time to really get to know who they hire. I wont be coming here any more. Thanks U-Haul for a horrible experience.

Stopped in a few days before Christmas to fill a couple of propane tanks for my grill and patio heater. A big sign was posted saying No more propane. Ok...I get it...its the Holidays with high demand so it happens. A week later I called to see if they now had propane. It rang many time before a nice lady answered. She stated the store wasnt answering (she must have been at a centralized call center). I explained about my prior propane fill attempt. She assured me they had propane. I drove all the way there with my two tanks. A friendly guy came out and explained that they did have propane but nobody there was certified to fill the tanks. I wont be returning.

I asked my son to take our gas tank for a refill. He got there about at 6:35 pm, he asked the clerk, Isaac, which by the way he was with his girlfriend, that he needed to refill the gas tank. Isaac then said that they were closed already. When my son got back home he told me what happened so I went back to the Uhaul store, I got there about 6:55. As soon as I entered the store, instead of greeting he said Were closed, to which I replied Dont you close at 7?, Yes but I already closed, Well I said I still have 5 minutes, No, I already closed the register. I asked to speak to the manager and he said it was only him, then he explained that for gas refills they close 20 minutes before.Mr. Manager: I suggest you check your cameras, I understand closing procedures at stores, but Isaac was hugging and flirting with that girl while a customer was trying to purchase from your store. I understand that if Isaac was busy doing the closing, then he would not be with a girl.It is not a big deal that even before the 20 minutes to cut off the gas refill service they say were about to close, but it looks terrible when your employees are not working and getting paid for that.

Called and made reservations. After my payment was secured I was informed the rental was not available for pick up. I was sent an address which was later changed and the equipment was not available at either place. Horrible experience and such waste of my time. Never again. Not a costumer driven business.

I had a problem with my trailer lights on a cross-country move from NC to CA. They helped me troubleshoot the problem and immediately got my trailer swapped out when they realized my original trailer wasn’t working, and had me back on the road in no time.

This bunch is incompetent. They put a hitch on my wifes car and we had them wire up a combo trailer light plug. We went to hook up a trailer and no lights. The idiots didnt even test the plug. Plus they had the car hours longer than they said they would. That would have been ok if they had done the job properly.

Guy said my toe capacity was 5k and told him i have hauled plenty of cars. When i verified my toe capacity myself ot os 7.5k dumbass. Thinks i am stupid dont do buisness they will try to make money of you real quick

The guys at the U Haul shop were good and very helpful and courteous and so I would do given them 5 stars but the main office messed things up for me. I guess when you call any Uhaul shop, the phone is answered my a U Haul rep who has nothing to do with this particular store. So the rep made an appointment for me to have electrical work done at 7am as well as reserved a 8x12 enclosed trailer. Problem is that while I was there at 7am there was none who could do the electrical work for me until 10am. So it wasted a good part of my morning.Then th kicker was they didnt have any record of the reserved trailer Id requested.Agains this is not the fault of this location but of the main headquarters. They need to get on the ball. The same stuff happened with me later in Reseda, Ca. when I went to drop off the trailer. Ill write a review of that on their page.

Very lazy workers, they didnt even help my husband latch on dolly and car we were pulling. Didnt help us get out or back out of there. Found at least 8 - 9 nails, & screws on their floor. Ppl that go to Ur store, are more than likely traveling, wouldnt you want their trip to be safe. Instead they give u a 90% chance of a flat tire. Not a good thing when you are towing something

First off, let me start by saying that I didnt even want to put a one star for this horrible location. Ive rented from this place twice. Both experiences I have had with this location has been absolutely horrible! and to compliment my horrible experience is the most heinous customer service I have EVER experienced in my whole life. The only reason why I came back for a second time, was because it was a year ago. I figured things had changed, but as I see I was wrong which is a shame. A year ago I reserved a truck. I was told they had it, and was told to be there at a certain time. I arrived and there was no truck...I was told there was nothing they could do, even though I had a reservation and told I had a truck waiting for me. The other issue was much worse and happened just last night. I had rented a tow dolly for my truck at 5:30pm. The assistant manager Lino Salazar drove my truck up the ramp of the tow dolly and made the vehicle jump the ramp and have the body of the truck sitting directly on the tow dolly. The truck was stuck! If I could, I would upload all my pictures for you to see. He almost ran over the other employee, David, and almost ran into my other vehicle...Once the whole incident occured, Lino did not show any remorse whatsoever for his actions. I did not receive an apology or anything the whole entire time! I called the manager to get the situation fixed and nope, the manager named Ricardo Rosales. was even WORSE! First off, Lino said that it was protocol to use a forklift to move the vehicle off the tow dolly. I asked Ricardo the same question and he said it wasnt protocol. No one knew what they were doing! They had no plan of action in the event that an accident would occur within the premises of there own site! Ricardo did not greet us at all. He went straight to the truck to start looking and did not communicate at all what he wanted to do, neither did he want to ask my permission as to how to fix my truck. When I asked about his plan of action, he immediately got defensive and could not clearly and precisely explain himself. I was told to get a lawyer if I wanted to get anything fixed. I was treated with total disrespect, total disregard and sarcasm to top it all off...I asked how I was going to be taken cared of and all the management team was concerned about was cancelling my order and having me leave the premises...They had no concern regarding my truck if there was any damage and did not care that I was there with my mother, 3yr old son and my wife for 5hrs! We waited for a tow truck that took forever because Ricardo wanted to resolve the issue on his own and cause more damage to my truck and have me just leave. Ricardo treated my wife with the most degrading disrespect ever. My wife would talk to him and he would just simply walk away...He frustrated the both of us, and the number one skill a customer service representative should have is to keep the customer calm! they could not do that or cared to do that, and also, they did not care to refund the money that same day, the manager couldnt even bring himself to tell us that we need to come in the morning to start the process of refunding the money. He had another employee come and tell us to come back in the morning. The manager just took off in his truck without saying anything to us. I explicitly advise that no one trust these people in anything! they are the lowest of the low. Liars. The only employee that actually showed that he cared and was concerned was David Parra. Hes only been there for three months so I hope the management team does not corrupt him. If it were up to me Id have Ricardo and Lino removed from this location permanently. And yes, I learned my lesson...I will NEVER EVER COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION!!!!!! The reason why I wrote this is so that people will not come to this location. I do not want other people to experience what my family had to go through.

Be sure to notify the business about the inaccuracies of what they say the fuel level is from what it actually is. Even with photos and a receipt of the fuel they will tell you there is nothing they can do and it’s your fault.

You can refill propane tanks for a low price and in a matter of seconds. Love it!!
