Poor communication with too many staff members made it difficult to keep in dialogue and up-to-date with a recent import using Flegenheimer. Accounting fees, monitoring (isn’t a broker’s job to monitor an import?!), USDA Assist fees, and several other surprise charges were tacked on to my bill without notice. The email explanation I received is because my import “required extra work”After attempting clarify the extra charges beyond the quote I received, I am still shocked that the employees I was communicating with the week of import never mentioned they were billing me for two appointments that I was arranging. That means I paid them $200 to make two phone calls for services that did not require the broker. This responsibility was taken out of my hands upon simply updating the broker. If you are importing live plants, work with another broker. The Flegenheimer team might be good at another type of commodity, but live plants is not their strong point.
To happen that was my first international transactionI did not know anything about this process, they guided me very well and everything turned out excellent. I recommend them 100% service to the clinic, thanksAtt.e} iron welding international inc
