Ordered my Trio at the end of January 2021. After a couple weeks my curated picks were sent to me. It was confusing at first because the label was printed out and it gave me a false alarm so to speak on 2/17 that my package had shipped but couple days later it went out. I received the package on Saturday. 2/3 of the vinyl hit it out of the park and fit in very well with my tastes. The third was not a bad record, it just wasnt an ideal fit. Overall, very happy with three records picked out by a total stranger. I would highly recommend this service to my friends.-----Update----- 4/07/2021In what is supposed to take 2 -3 weeks, it has been 5 weeks. The issues that I am encountering is that their communication is completely lacking. Their phone goes straight to voicemail, emails are left unanswered by a real human (I have gotten a cut and paste response regarding delays from changing warehouses) and the Facebook messenger bot which is not helpful as time progresses.They need to fix their extreme lack of communication to be more responsive to help reassure paying customers that they are legitimate and not scamming.

This company is trash. We purchased a subscription as a gift for our son. They charged us three times and we received nothing. After calling them probably seven times, we were finally assured that there had been a warehouse problem and wed be getting our records in a few weeks. A few weeks came and went and still no records. I sent a formal cancellation letter in April, but they have continued to charge us monthly. We are cancelling the monthly authorization for the payment. We are also currently filing a lawsuit.

They currently owe me 8 vinyl records and will not respond to my attempts at contacting them. I will be filing a lawsuit.

Love this company. Ive been getting records from them for a little over a year now and theyve done a great job -- always stuff Im interested in that aligns with my music, and they do a good job of always checking my Discogs to make sure I dont already own a record. Yeah, sometimes the records they send would only cost about $15 on their own anyway -- which mitigates the monetary value -- but to me the core service is introducing you to new music. For me its very worth it. I see some other reviews complaining about customer service -- and thats accurate. They do not reply to emails promptly, and their phone support is basically nonexistent. Luckily, I havent had more than one customer support ticket, so that hasnt been a major problem for me. If VNYL gets their customer service game up to par, this would be a 5 star company.

Definitely stay away from this company. The customer service and business model that charges you without sending products is no good. This company wont last. Please save yourself the aggravation. It is a great idea that is executed poorly. I am a small business supporter but this I can not recommend.

No communication from this company. Ordered over 3 weeks ago and have gotten ZERO response to my emails and phone calls inquiring about my order. Do not waste your money - definitely feeling like a scam.

I received a 3 month gift subscription to Vnyl and its been a fight from the start. You need to enter your credit card info to set up your profile, which was odd but I did it. It has been 6 month and I have yet to get my 3rd shipment but they did charge me $39.95 for some reason which I had to then fight with my CC company about as you will never get through to their customer service. My last delivery never arrived so their person on twitter told me that USPS lost it and that is a real bummer. Im sorry, that doesnt cut it.

Customer service is awful. Paid for 6 and only got 4. Was told they couldn’t do anything about it… not send me 2 records and not even refund me for paying for the extra records…

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I purchased a $100 gift card for my boyfriend in December as a Christmas gift. He was supposed to receive 1 shipment for three months, each shipment containing 3 records. We received 1 shipment in January and still, to this day in April, have not received any further shipments. Instead they charged my card $39.99 in March. After about 5 unanswered emails and phone calls (Each!) I received an email from Levi asking what email address I used to order the gift card. I provided him with the requested information. After a few more days and emails following up, I received another email from Levi saying refunds would process in 5-10 business days. I continued to check my bank statement and still, nothing has been refunded. Instead, THEY CHARGED MY CARD AGAIN! I have been calling and emailing their company. I have never received a return phone call - only 2 emails from Levi, and now I have to go to my bank to change all my banking information to prevent them from charging my account in the future! Dont ever use this company! Their customer service is horrible, their website is horrible, you cant cancel subscription (even if you didnt sign up for on) on their website, they tell you to email them with cancellation requests but they dont get back to you in a timely manner and will continue to charge you!

I agree with all the other reviews. Questionable billing, poor service. Should have trusted my gut. The disorganized and confusing website is a window into their business. Shame, it’s a nice idea.

This company and their management is absolute trash. I’ve been a member now for 3 months and haven’t received a single record. At first they said it would take 3 weeks for a record to ship out, then they just stopped responding altogether.

SCAM ALERT! STAY AWAY! The company continues to charge me for their monthly record subscription service but they haven’t sent me a single record. They won’t reply to any of my communications asking to cancel the subscription.

Another victim of this scam, unfortunately.
