We had such a great experience with Caliber. Their customer service was great, they followed up with the status of our car and gave us estimated time around. Our car was done within 2 weeks and I couldn’t believe they were that quick. Thank you Caliber for such a great job!

A++From start to finish, my experience was phenomenal.Steve did a great job communicating and explaining the process.I experienced a quick turn around in terms of dropping off the vehicle the next day after my accident and then receiving it back in less than a week.I highly appreciated the text services and accommodations.Great work to the detail team and installers for their craftsmanship.Overall, great experience and I’d definitely go back for non insurance work as well due to the level of professionalism and experience.

I chose Caliber Collision to repair my car after a minor auto accident because of how highly rated they were on google. I was extremely impressed and satisfied with the work they did. Everyone was super professional, kind and helpful throughout the entire process. My car was repaired quickly, looked flawless, and was clean as a whistle upon pick up. I would absolutely use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking. It was an overall easy and enjoyable process working with them.

I brought a few body pieces for my car to the shop to have them painted. I was given a proper write up with a great price. The work was done quickly but professionally. The communication from Caliber was great. They let me know every step of the way. Erik and his team were very helpful throughout the whole process. I would recommend anyone in need of body work to trust this company with any type of vehicle.

Everybody was a delight to deal with. Extremely tentative to all my concerns and did an amazing job of communicating up-to-date information regarding my vehicle – in addition to amazing craftsmanship regarding the end result. In particular my experience with technician Michael was exceptional 10/10 to say the least. Had to return my vehicle for additional repairs after the shop didnt align the hood of my vehicle correctly, causing paint rubbing all the way down to the metal. When picking it up after repair, the paint was repaired but the hood STILL wasnt aligned correctly, and they had to take the car back into the shop to do it again while I waited.Received the vehicle back without the factory hood badging - when asked, I was told it was on backorder, but my receipt showed no indication that the badging was ordered to begin with (Ive had the vehicle back well over a month with no additional follow-up).They take your email and cell information to update you on your vehicles progress, but in order to receive any updates, Ive always had to call them. Theyve never once contacted me first. Their communication skills are lacking.I was at this location when it was Abra, and it was just as frustrating. I thought that with the new branding/ownership, things would be better. I was incorrect.The upside is that, if its fixed right to begin with, the repair quality is good. But it seems impossible for them to get things right the first time, or for them to initiate updates. That will keep me from returning.Oh, and I was able to find the factory OEM hood badging online the day I got my vehicle back.EDIT: After leaving the previous review, I received a message stating the hood badge arrived. I went to the shop to pick it up (had intentions of installing it myself). They insisted on doing it. Without cleaning the hood surface (which was dirty), a tech applied the badge... incorrectly so that the emblem was hanging below the edge of the hood. He started to push up on the 1 letter so it would be above the edge, but it would have misaligned it with the rest of the logo (Jeep). I told them I would remove the badge once I got home and for them to order another one so I can pick it up and do it myself. Unsure if thatll happen, however.Stay tuned...

They did an awesome job replacing my windshield and getting all the hail dents out of my hood and roof! The only problem was that a scratch was left on my car. However, they fixed it for me super fast and quick and got me a rental for the two days it was at Caliber Collisions. They were super patient, nice, and over all professional.

Involved in an accident where my front bumper was slightly ripped off by another driver. What should’ve been an easy fix took 6 weeks and job was done cheaply and bumper was never aligned correctly and loose and not hooked up in many spots. I noticed the problem the day I received the car and was told by the manager to not worry about every inch of the car and that’s the best they can do. If you’re looking to get any kind of a repair here, you should think twice, you will regret it and have problems for the future of your vehicle.

FIRST, don’t get yourself lost trying to find this shop, they’re inside the Biggers Chevrolet service fence. Once I found them I got top flight service on a little insured front bumper fender bender that needed repairs. They were quick with an estimate followed by a two day mend. Very communicative and super easy to deal with.

The staff at Abra Auto Body was excellent. I took my vehicle in for minor collision repair and they exceeded my expectations. They are a pleasure to work with and are very genuine. On top of being very knowledgeable and professional they saved me money. Very honest bunch, highly recommended. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!I came in on a Friday thinking Id just stop by and have pictures taken of the damage to be reported and schedule repairs for a later date. I received a warm greetings upon entering and, despite not having made an appointment prior I was seen very quickly.Matt described everything he was noticing during the visual inspection and I came to find out the damage was much greater than initially imagined. I was given a detailed explanation of the repair process and an estimated time of about a week and a half and immediately began scrambling to figure out what to do. The guys helped me figure out my rental situation and I was back out the door about 30 mins later! I received updates throughout the week and a half of repairs and have now gotten my car back and it looks good as new!!I hope I dont need repairs again anytime soon but if I do, I know where to go!!TLDR: 10/10 would recommend!!

I didnt know this place was around til I went through Biggers Chevy Dealer. Its definitely a hidden gem!The first time I came in to get my car fixed, I was happy with the results. I came back and will come back because of their customer service. Each person Ive talked to was very personable. Friendly and accommodating! Very flexible with scheduling and dropping off. They worked with me to get me a rental car so I didnt have to figure it out on my own. They updated me to let me know how long it would be and when I could pick it up

Abra really went the extra mile in making my car look better than it has in awhile. They even took the time to do some extra buffing on an area not involved in the accident, just so things would look even on both sides. Matt, Eddie, and Eric were nice and helpful from drop-off, to status calls, to pickup. The only gripe is location (cant see it from the road) but theyre just behind the Chevy dealership, right past the service entrance. After an accident and a rough week, it was wonderful to have something go right. Thanks guys, hopefully wont have to see you soon, but if I need body work done, this is where Im going!

Extremely fast. Everything was very organized with my appointment and the manager of the location spoke with me directly when I picked up the vehicle and answered all of my questions. I hope that I am not in an accident anytime soon but If I need a touch up or talking to someone who could use the service, I would not hesitate to give ABRA a call.

Mario did an excellent job replacing my shattered window. Very prompt, job done right, and all the glass cleaned out. The first glass they got was scratched so they preemptively arranged to come back the next day with a new one. 5 stars for not skipping any corners like many auto shops Ive worked with and paying attention to detail.

If I could give zero stars, Id definitely do it. First, I was quoted and told that the repairs to my hail damaged car would take max 10 days. I asked if they could order parts ahead of time while I work and used my car. They stated No problem, we can get that done. I dropped my car off a week later expecting them to have parts and they stated that it would take no more than 10 days again. My mistake in assuming that they had parts at location. After the drop off, 3 days later they called and said they had just received the car parts. To top it all off, its been about 12-13 days, I called, after being told I would be updated on my car every Tuesday and Friday, and they stated that theyll have it all done in the next week or so. So a 10 day max repair taking over 20 something days?!!? And yes I accounted for weekends and Labor Day. Disappointed in this, please go somewhere else for business for repairs!!!!

My car was subject of a hit and run last week. The whole process of getting it fixed could have added insult to injury, but Abra, in Elgin, alleviated all the additional stress. Im insured through Geico, which there is an auto damage adjuster on site. Greg was very helpful and supportive in determining what needed fixing, and in the end I save money on my deductible. Chris, from Abra, made sure day one that I knew what to expect; she helped keep me informed with progress. Erik monitored to make sure everything ran smooth and efficiently. Parts were in and already painted on day one, and I got my car back in the AM of day three. Thanks Abra!

State Farm had my truck towed here. While it was here, there was equipment in my truck stolen out of the box. Abra refuses to accept responsibility, stating they just share space with the car dealership and theyre in charge of the security/footage. They claim this, yet they have their own section gated and walled off from them.I called and informed them of this, and while they never got hostile, they basically shrugged off everything. The manager spoke to me a week ago, seemingly surprised and assured me hed find out what he could and then call me back as soon as he knew what happened. I called 4 days later, and the assistant said she would have him call me. 3 days later, I call again for an update, and he tells me Im just barking at him and goes on about how hes a nice guy and checked the footage an no one took anything. If he actually checked the footage and saw nothing, youd think hed call back and inform me.Summed up: Dont bring your car to a body shop that wont care for it when its in their possession.

I have had an awful experience at one of your locations. Back in April some hit my 2015 Jeep Wrangler and I need to have some body work done on it. I worked with State Farm and based on my location and the reviews I read online, I figured I would go to your location in Elgin, IL. I spoke with Eddy, who I believe was the manager, and he was great. Its a new car (only 10,000 miles on it) and Eddy made me feel comfortable and confident that it would be fixed quickly and the right way. He assured me that they were using all Mopar parts and it would be like new. After I got it home, I noticed the bumper wasnt level. So my husband took it back and asked them to fix it. They told him that they would have to order a completely new bumper and some other part underneath... alluding to the fact that it wasnt done right the first time. Ok, frustrating, but I get it mistakes happen. So then they said they were ordering what they needed and they would call us. No call. We tried contacting them once a week... and we kept getting a hell call you back with no call back. This we on for 2 MONTHS!!! Until finally they say they have the part in and we arranged to drop it off Tuesday 10/4. They tell us it might take a day or two and theyll call us. So yesterday... Friday 10/7 I get a voicemail (even though my husband has been dealing with this because I have been out town, and they say they ordered the wrong part, the correct one is on back order till 10/12. Are you kidding me? So either these guys are jerking us around, or they really dont know what theyre doing. Its ridiculous. To the customer it feels like you guys got paid by my insurance company, and now you have no urgency in fixing YOUR mistake. Due to the level of service I have received, I dont even want them working on my car anymore. I am extremely dissatisfied, and plan on contacting my insurance company and the Better Business Bureau.

Had my car fixed here recommended and payed for by Farmers Insurance. When I picked my car up it was raining so I took a quick look, looked ok, and left the lot. At first glance everything seemed ok but a few days after I picked up my car I noticed my bumper (which they were supposed to fix) wasnt aligned properly. There were large gaps that werent there before which were only noticable up close. I called them immediately and I told them I would bring it in the next day. Unfortunately I wasnt able to make in until a few days after. Within those dew days I pulled up to far on a parking block and scraped the bottom of my bumper a bit. When I finally took it in. I talked to the guy who sits behind the desk and he was automatically in defense mode and very uneasy to talk to. He blamed everything on the parking block which I was honest about but I know for a fact the gaps were there before. I explained to him that I have have mistakingly drove up too far on parking blocks before and I havent had this problem. He still refused to do anything. My mistake was not finding the time to go in as soon as I saw the problem. My Nissan doesnt and will never look the same! Unhappy with this experience and would recommend everyone to examine their car closely before you leave the lot and if theres a problem take it back immediately!
