They are the best! They always go above and beyond. Their prices are fair and Chris and Vic explain every repair so you can make informed decisions.
Boss automotive took care of business . after trying a couple other places they were unable to do the work let alone find the parts, a friend recommended boss and boss stepped up found the parts and took care of business thank you very much highly recommended!!
I want to thank these guys for getting me back on the road after my snow plow busted a seal. I thought I busted a hose and I couldn’t pin point where it was coming from, turns out it was just a rubber seal. Issue resolved very quickly.
They were very helpful getting me to the other store.
The staff here are wonderful! Being a woman, there are times that automotive shops have talked down to me or didnt explain what is needed for my car. The owner and staff of Boss Automotive treats me with respect and always explains anything that I need or ask about my car. They are so nice! Great service, great prices and lots of trust and integrity! Love them! I always recommend them to friends and family! Definitely a five star business!
Weve used Boss Automotive for years. Vic is extremely honest and does a great job. Wouldnt take our car anywhere else. Use them, youll be happy.
I brought my Corvette to this shop for some suspension work. I brought my own parts. Vic ( the owner) was very straightforward about his price when I made the appointment. When I got the car back and drove it home it still wasnt right so i called Vic who suggested that the mechanic and I drive the car. It was agreed there might be some other worn parts on the car. No problem. I scheduled time to come back on the following Monday.I noticed that while on my drive back to the shop to ride with the mechanic that there was a loud sequel when coming to a stop that wasnt there before. The mechanic heard it and he wasnt sure what it was. I went home after making the appointment to come back and the mechanic said he would look at it. I called back prior to my Monday appointment to confirm the work we were going to do and get a cost for the labor. When the squealing noise came up on the phone with Vic, he said there would be a non refundable $75 diagnostic charge because the car would be on the rack. Why? The car was going to be on the rack anyway for the work I was having done. When I asked he said that the way we do business and couldnt come up with a valid answer. So - Im paying $75 to diagnose a loud sound that was probably caused by work they did the first time around? No way. Doesnt make any sense. I know Vic will come here with his rebuttal, but theres no way around this.A good shop would have said Hey I understand, well just take a look at it for you when you come back. It costs them nothing. This shop offers poor value and lack of professionalism based on my experience. Its a shame because its a 10 minute walk to drop my car off here. It would have been nice to have a shop across the street that I could go to for work. Not the case. Very disappointing. And by the way, the woman who answer the phone could take a course on customer service. She is border line rude when simply calling to ask about the status of my car.
Chris, the family and staff have been great to us. We even trusted them with our antique 1947 Jeep Willys and they keep in contact with us updating on the repair and any additional items needing attention as if it was their own vehicle. I highly recommend them.
I have been using Boss for years now. They have always done a great job of explaining what is going on with my vehicles. They have been really fair with the costs of repairs and do a great job of communicating the time it takes for them to do their work. I would recommend to anyone looking for a simple oil change all the up to major repairs.
I have been needing to get an oil change, but I’m a single mom, and especially during covid, I wasn’t planning on trying to find child care so I could drop off my car. A few days ago, Vic sent me a text, letting me know they are now picking up and dropping off cars for service! I know it was just an oil change, but it made my life so much easier! I hope they continue offering this service once things go back to “normal!” I’ve used Boss for a few different repairs now, and especially after dealing with dishonest shops, I can absolutely say they’re my go-to place now. They seem very trustworthy, and respectful, and don’t take advantage of me not knowing a thing about cars! 😊
They also gave me a quote to fix my drivers side door handle which I greatly appreciated!
Vic and his son at Boss Automotive not only do fantastic work on our family cars, they are by far the most honest auto repair technicians we have ever come across. They have earned our trust and our business.
We have used Boss Automotive 3 times for body repair in the past. Recently, we needed some overdue mechanical work on our van during the shelter in place. Boss Automotive offered door to door service as an added convenience so we had the vehicle diagnosed and repaired. It was completed in a timely fashion and at a reasonable price; brakes, rotars, calipers, oil, etc. It was another good experience at Boss Automotive.
Awesome body shop! Great service, reliable family run business who have just worked on one of our cars after an unfortunate incident caused damage to the vehicle. Work was performed efficiently and car ready when promised. Don’t hesitate to visit here if you need work done on your vehicle! Thank you Boss!!
BEST AUTO SHOP!I have used BOSS AUTOMOTIVE 3 times over the years, and I have always had a wonderful experience. They are so professional and courteous. The work on my Honda turned out perfect. They went above and beyond what I expected to ensure that my needs were met. They treated me like family- I knew they were giving me the best service. I wont go anywhere else.
HONEST, QUICK, AND PRICED RIGHT!!!I needed new brakes. I thought it would possibly be front and rear. Based on past experiences at other shops I was expecting a $400+ job. When I got to the shop Chris came out to me, and took a quick look at my brakes. He quickly assessed that my front brakes needed new pads & rotors which had me thinking $$$.He made a quick phone call to a supplier, and quoted $240 for my car! Thats a great price for that kind of work! I was so relived that I asked him to add an oil change in the process.I took it in at 10am, he said hed have it done by 1:30pm. Sure enough, he called me at 1:30 all ready to go!PS: He could have told me the rear brakes were bad too, but he was honest. He told me they have at least another six months before needing knew pads!THANKS!!!!
Always the best service and nice staff. I’ve never had any issues and I have been coming here for years. HIGHLY recommended!
Boss Automotive is a wonderful family run business that Ive been going to for several years. It is obvious they care about their customers from the moment you walk in. They are very knowledgeable, and take the time to explain and listen to your concerns. They never come off pushy towards services either. They simply tell you what needs to be done or recommended, and the level of priority that it is. I highly recommended this shop - your car will be in great hands!
Stay away...Owner very rude and yelled at my wife... he put his hands on his employee and yanked him by his collar. Work definitely not done with integrity as advertised..
These guys are the real deal. Im from out of state and had no idea what I was getting into. Turns out there guys are so full of work that they had four mechanics in addition to Chris, who is the lead mechanic and Co-Owner along with Vic. So what Im saying is, they dont need my business. Yet when I showed up on a tow truck late on a Friday, they put in the extra hours to take care of me. Ive never been treated better by any business of any kind anywhere. I am so glad I found these guys. Its a family business with both the knowledge and capacity to work on anything. My diesel cargo van? No problem. Meanwhile there was an import in the opposite corner which had just gotten its finishing touches. In another corner was a mustang. While I was there I heard them tell a motorcoach owner, bring it right over, itll fit. And I personally saw a flawless paint matching job they did - I had to ask where their paint stopped and the factory paint began. On top of all that, theyre calm, friendly, and approachable. Seriously I couldnt have asked for a better shop.
Likes to waste your time rather than have your business. Have a car you cant drive that needs work? Welp drive it on over for an estimate, giving one off photos takes too much skill
I had my 2003 Toyota Sienna at Boss Automotive for some maintenance work. The staff was friendly and professional. The work was perfect and done when expected. If your looking for a shop that performs quality work and treats you right Boss Automotive is one of the best! I’m going to take all of my cars there!
They have worked on 3 of my vehicles....all for body work, two of them for major repairs. Always comes out perfect. They make you feel like family. Awesome quality, timely and helpful.
Had our Dog Rescue van in for an oil light problem. Service was quick and very reasonable. Thank you for the great service.
Vic and Sandy run a class act there at Boss. They are always up front and honest about what needs to get done now, what you can wait a bit for, etc. They stand behind their work and make sure that you are satisfied! If I have to get work done Boss is the place for me. I highly recommend them!
The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. I would highly recommend taking your car to this shop.
Great local service (just down the street from me). Always friendly and able to perform timely service.
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend taking your car to Boss Automotive!
Vic, Chris and team are outstanding. Only mechanic Ive used for years!
Great people and great service!
My brand new SUV had been in an accident in the Summer of 2013 and Boss was recommended to me. If I was reviewing Boss solely based on the niceness of some of the staff, I would give them a better rating. Based on the work performed, I was highly unsatisfied. Thousands of dollars approx($10,000) were done incorrectly of a $13,000 total repair. Everything from the bigger details such as the paint job, molding, welding etc were done incorrectly and cheaply all the way to the minor details such as the seatbelts not getting changed out after the crash, dust and other junk not being vacuumed out from the repairs, and sunroof not being plugged in etc. It was a big job, and the owner gave me complete faith they would make it look brand new. Whether it be the inexperience of the staff or poor work ethic, my SUV was ruined. Another shop owner, who I took my suv to after concerns turned to worry, said The work was embarrassing and an insult to the craft. Upon taking my car back to Boss, because I thought theyd want to make all their wrongs, right, they offered to only re-do the horrible paint job. They refused to do the other work. I declined because a paint job wasnt going to fix this whole nightmare and was thinking about suing them for many months. When I went to turn my lease in, I got hit bigtime with fees from the poor job they did. Dont let this happen to you. I know they seem nice, but I wouldnt trust them with a matchbox car, let alone a real one. Hopefully over the past few years they have gotten better staff and developed higher standards.
Great job done for a air price!
Have completed multiple jobs for me, and have done a great job!
We have been Boss customers for 7 years. We are always pleased and appreciate this family run business.
Always honest with us....
Fast, accurate service
Very honest and responsible. And friendly
