Update: I went and spoke to the manager Miguel and he help me out. I appreciate the initiative took to solve my problem.I found a nail in my tire so I called them and asked if they could replace it and they said yes. I get over there and they replace my tire. They gave me a receipt and said I had a 10 day warranty. Four days later the same tire is flat. I take the car back and they said I had another nail in the same exact tire and said there was nothing they could do for me unless I paid them to fix it again. I have handy men in my family so I had one of them come check it out and they match the serial numbers to my other tires meaning they took the nail out and gave me the same tire back and charged me for a replacement tire. This place is a total rip off. Dont go here. They will just take your money.

Quoted me on rims tires. They said my truck would be leveled from back. Went to pick up my truck was exactly the same higher from rear. Then they tried to say price was not include to level truck from rear. I know what I want, what I said I wanted done & more importantely what they had said. To make things worse they turn around & make me feel like Im wrong.. I called spoke to Miguel now I have to pay to level off my truck & pay to do it. I spoke to Miguel personally, was going to give a quote. Never Received a call back. Will never go there again!

I was a little disappointed. Lack of transparency was what brought me to my 3 star rating.I was told that my tire repair would take 20 minutes. It took 45 minutes.There is no way to watch what is going on without going outside to the rear of the building.One person checked me in, and another checked me out.When checking out I asked what the problem had been. I was told that it was a problem with the rim.When I retrieved my car I talked with the associate that worked on it. He told me that it was a small nail that caused the problem, not a bad rim.After I got home, I saw that my receipt did not have a date on it.They did repair the tire. Thats what I went in there for.It doesnt appear to be an especially efficient process, but they did get the job done.

I personally would never use their services after seeing the end results of a family members car. They went in to get rims put on his MC and instead of denying the business, or recommending a lift kit, they used a saw of some sort and hacked at his wheel wells like an inexperienced butcher. There was no finesse of any sort and very unprofessional to be frank.

If you’re wondering where to get your car services done, get your wheels built or need some tires put on with some stretch this place will be the one. Highly recommend, amazing quality and awesome customer service with great prices too. I had them mount/balance a tire on my wheel and it needed stretch, they did it with ease. There is another tire shop next to them and they were rude, not professional nor did they treat me like a customer. Chihuahua Tire shop treated me with respect as a customer should get and gave me great customer service that made me feel welcome. I will be going back for sure for anything needed on my vehicles.

Went to discount tire to order a rim, after 4 weeks of waiting and no e.t.a, I canceled my order. Chihuahua tire was able to order and get one delivered to their shop in 2 hours and install it onto my spare tire in 20 minutes. All for a reasonable price.

I came here for a rim repair and spent $140. I asked 3 workers to please add air in my tires due to my low tire pressure light on. They continue to say ok we will handle it. They never did it! I know because i had checked levels before and after. Finally I went to a better customer service tire shop that took care of it for me. Find out it was an issue with my back tire.

If you need tires this is the place to go. They will let you pick from used and have great prices on new. They even caught a leaky valve steam on one wheel after installing a new tire!!! Great attention to detail and will make you feel like your involved and show you the work they do no trying to upcharge or harassing you into extra work. I love this place and always go back. 2 brand new tires for 130$ on an SUV balanced and installed Considered used but were clearly take offs and still 95% tread left. You wont beat that.

I do not recommend this place. They lack professionalism and they lie. They have a problem with their employees saying the finish jobs when they dont. Leaving have jobs halfway. I left a review below that starts off by saying STAY AWAY, and then goes on to a long review about my experience there. Turns out that I clicked on the wrong location, and its the one in West Chicago that is so awful. I have never been to this shop, so please dont consider my review. I tried to erase it once I learned about my mistake, and it didnt allow me. However I did report it, and explained why. I apologize profusely for my mistake, and Im sure that my experience was limited to this one location.

Called on the phone and whoever answered the phone seemed inconvenienced to have done so- rushed through the call, and seemed annoyed. I took the hint, finished the call, and went somewhere else to purchase tires. Gracias!

I am a small business owner and recognize and take note of good service and customer satisfaction. With my company, I work with large commercial tire companies and service centers throughout the Chicagoland area. I understand the importance of scheduling an appointment for service. Chihuahua tire made it very easy to schedule an online appointment on their website. When we wanted to drop off the car overnight so they could get to it first thing on Saturday morning, they said they could take a look at it right at that moment, thus saving us a trip on a busy Saturday. Within a matter of minutes they had the tire off and inspected it. Luckily it was a simple fix and we were on our way with in 15 minutes. All so often I hear from other service centers that they do not have the time to take a look at something without an appointment. Thank you Chihuahua tire for taking the time to look at something when you didn’t have to, and without a schedule time slot. As a business owner I do appreciate good service when I come across it.

I was trying something different by putting Mud Tires on a Dodge Charger. No tire shop would do it because the tread was bigger. Science is science and if it measures good then it will work but NTB and others don’t care. Chihuahua handled it no problem! Now I have an off-road Dodge Charger. I’m taking all my cars back for work there.

We we were passing through Chicago and our tire pressure light came on so we eventually stopped and found this place. They were so quick to fit us right in and patch up the hole for a very reasonable price. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful.

Miguel took me in last minute on a Saturday to mount and balance 40x15.5R20 Toyo MT tires on my 2019 F250. 4wheelparts was not able to mount them and these guys had no issues at all!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 5 STARS.

Great place for tires & work on your vehicle

Stopped in for a couple quick repairs. They were able to fix two tires for me very quickly and very inexpensively.

Called and asked if they could fix a tire with a screw in it. The gentleman said sure bring it in. I get there and he says it’s about a 30-40 min wait before getting in(there was other car there). Within 35 mins my car was complete. I didn’t have to wait as long as I expected. I’d definitely recommend chihuahua tire shop and I’d definitely go back !

All my family and friends come to Chihuahua Tire to fix their vehicles and get their tires replaced. I personally have been coming for over 10 years. These guys are really good and very affordable. I wouldnt recommend any other shop to fix your car..!

Changed front strut shock assembly on my car, proceeded to take my car to this shop for alignment. Big mistake!! For a week the car was fine, until Saturday I noticed a flat so I decided to take back to shop and have them put tire and balancing. After leaving shop the car shook horribly. After bring it back they informed me of $240 more work that needed to be done. Brought the car home and slept on it.Looked at it the following day and find out that they put the front tire in back and back in front. This made the car shake. Actually broke a 4 way trying to get tire off (which tells me they did not want me to get tire off and they knew what they were doing to scam me for more business).Having my son and wife with me they put their well being at risk, ruining my car at risk, and costing me hundreds of dollars.If you enjoy getting railroaded take your car here, if you dont like your car take it here, if you like handing over money for no reason take your car here, and most of all if you dont value your life please take your car here.Yes they are cheap, but you get what you pay for. Second thought if you want to take your car here contact me pay me and Ill kick you in your backside. This would at least save you from destroying your car. I bought rims and they ordered the wrong rims and took my money and never received returned my money.. they Robb people...bad business

Went here for new tires and an alignment. They changed the tires for me, but as I drove away my car still pulled to the left. I went back the next day to explain what happened and they fit me in and aligned my car no charge. I know people make mistakes, and since they made good solving the problem immediately I would go back again anytime.

Miguel was very knowledgeable and helpful with wheel selection. Shoo is busy but I never felt rushed or like I was bothering them. Great People.

I come here a lot. The only thing I have an issue with is that the tires are never the same price. I always get different prices for the same tire. The pretty lady at the front desk is always nice to me and very courteous.

I went there because I needed a tire ASAP & I was standing outside non of the guys outside bothered to ask me if Ive been helped or what was I there for until a guy from the office came out greeted me & asked me what I needed me & even offered me coffee in their waiting area even though I waited to be helped the guy from the office Javier made my experience a lot better I recommend going to Javier for any help .

Horrible service, I tried to buy rims and I took them 2 weeks to find only 2 options . They never called or got back to me, I kept calling them and even then they didnt help.

I drive from Chicago to come to Chihuahua Tire, because these guys do honest and great work. I never go anywhere else for repairs. Theyve done my exhaust piping, tires and window tinting. Also all my mechanical repairs.

I highly recommend Chihuahua Tire Shop in Elgin, IL. As one who reads and depends on reviews I felt compelled to share my experience with Chihuahua. My first interaction was a couple of years ago. I wanted custom rims for my BMW 650i. I explained my goals for the type of rims, tires and importantly the profile to match to my car. The team asked me to trust them to make the right decisions and made a recommendation. I continue to love the rim combo of Rihanna Rims with Pirelli P Zeros. Two years later I recently returned to the shop due to a pothole encounter. The team was able to get me an exact replacement in reasonable time considering the rim was on backorder from the manufacturer. The team is always friendly and more importantly know their business.

Wanted to mount tires that were off the car. Once i mentioned didnt want the wheels scratched during mounting they quoted $10 extra per wheel for being careful and 17 size. Lol. I guess you pay according to the wheel size and how careful you want them to be with your wheels. Lol.

Mechanic in back a real stand up fella good at what he does and puts pride into his trade, front of the house proved to be different in character, quick to sell a single mom a horror story in order to make a sale, I witnessed it along with recognizing the old car salesman pitch to bump that extra dollar had this rating been on the mechanic in back alone 5 stars all day but this hustle in the front deserves no stars so to be fair Im throwing up the old peace ✌️ sighn and neva trying to head here again.
