I would highly recommend Omega auto services for all your vehicle needs. They are honest and very reasonably priced.

I gave this shop the benefit of the doubt one too many times. I took my car in to have an ABS and VSA light checked out. Jon at the front desk tells me I need a new ABS system that would cost me around $600, not including labor. I was not convinced since my car was running great so I opted for a second opinion at my Acura dealership. The battery had been replaced recently and had triggered the lights to pop up on the dashboard and just needed a reset. Saved me hundreds of dollars! Get a second opinion elsewhere before you end up paying way more than you actually need to because of mechanics who don’t know what they’re doing or think they can scam customers.

Great place with great people. They a great amount of knowledge about a lot of different automotive needs. Ill be back.

Marco always knows how to take care of his customers, and for that it keeps me coming back. Can’t speak well enough of how he runs his business. He gives younger generations a better reputation as entrepreneurs. Keep it up and the business will keep coming back ! :)

Owner Marcos would take ur money. Than fix the issue. They are shady. Got proof as well And do have workers without being certified. Would not recommend.

Fixed my car very well. there was a little lack of communication, but they do good work so they get lots of business. They also get to the root of the problem lead them to take a little extra time.So i would reccomend if you have the time to let somone fix your car the right way. And have another source of transportation then come here.

On Jan. 3rd, 2021 I took my car to Omega for an engine misfire condition. It’s an 02 Accord with 211k miles. I asked John if the problem is the valve lash being out of spec, as I never had this adjusted. He checked with his mechanic and they agreed to do it since the engine was just decarbonized and has new spark plugs, wires and a recently replaced distributor. When they reset the valve lash the engine ran much smoother and the misfire disappeared. Very happy.

Use to be known for speedy top notch service. Use to be very high quality and you would expect as such. Sadly, not anymore. Very disappointed w/ nearly every aspect of my personal recent experiences and also what I have heard from others that I trust throughout the last year or so. Not what it once was. I would look elsewhere if you need any work or modifications done.

They always give a great price for the work they do. You may have to wait a little, as they are a small shop, but if you can wait a little, the price and quality are worth it.

We had a used car inspected here. They were very thorough and the cost was very reasonable. Marco spent plenty of time with us and when we asked about the business, he shared photos of some of the custom work he’s done.I do not live in the area, but if I did, I would most certainly have my auto work done here. The shop was well kept, and Marco and the others we interacted with were great.I highly recommend Marco and Omega Auto Service.

SHADY PLACE WATCH OUT. Went for a problem nd they said it was fixed until I found out it wasn’t. . And was still charged. MORE. And Scratched my newly painted bumper. Broke a fog light . When told upfront they didn’t care . They take advantage of you.

Brought my car to Omega to get a alignment and get some control arms put on. Marco took care of me and took extra caution to make sure everything turned out perfectly. Car drives straight and best it’s ever driven! Marco also makes the alignment rack very low car friendly!

Been here several times. The first time for a quick repair after hitting an opossum my front end had a shield that got torn and was dragging. The Nissan dealer would’ve charged over $100 for new parts. I needed a quick fix and they accommodated me with quickly putting in some nuts or screws. I was happy and it was quick and only like $20. So I went back with my next car for new tires. They didn’t have the brand I wanted in stock. I normally buy Yokohama’s for my lady 2 cars (Nissan Quest and Chevy Malibu) they were only $550 installed with 75k miles nationwide warranty at Discount Tires. But for my Nissan Maxima they were over $700 for set of 4. But I wasn’t willing to pay that much. So I talked to the owner, he had a decent enough price on tires he could order that also had a warranty that was comparable to the ones I wanted (but this being only a local shop and not nationwide had me a bit worried as when we travel out of state it’s always nice to know another shop can honor the warranty so I’m not paying up front and waiting on reimbursement). So I needed new tires really bad and we had severe snowstorm warnings. He called me and said he’d have the tires in that day, but they ended up being delivered really late afternoon, like 5pm. But the owner said he’d still get it done for me as he knew I was worried about driving my old bald tires in the snow. So I appreciate that they stayed late to accommodate me when I know they wanted to get headed home before the 6-9 inches of snow accumulation. But then few weeks later while in St Charles we had an issue. When my daughter was driving she got a flat, so I had to tow it to Elgin. Thankfully my roadside assistance with Verizon covered the tow completely. I was worried with the distance I’d have to pay extra for the mileage. It was several hours to get to the shop due to backup with towing company, but once more he was accommodating. Turned out all the air just blew out while she was driving. There was no nail or foreign object as I expected. But I didn’t pay out of pocket for anything so I was happy. The last vehicle I had in for repairs was another story. I took my husbands old 2001 town and country minivan. Again required a tow. My 22 yr old kid had turned the van off while I was in Dr office but then turned the ignition so she could turn on the radio and the defrost. It wore out the alternator. When I had it towed I told him what happened so I suspected that it was battery or alternator and told him to call me with any updates before doing repairs. With as old as it is I wasn’t willing to pay much to fix it. So I hadn’t heard anything back from him late the next morning, so I called him. He told me that the battery was charged and it still wouldn’t start so they started testing electrical, thinking it had something to do with the aftermarket alarm system (which we don’t even use). So anyways he was trying to charge me like $700+ for all these diagnostics in electrical work and a part he replaced in the alarm system to test it without me signing anything agreeing to pay labor costs for diagnosing it or calling me first. After all that they then tested the alternator and realized that was the issue. I talked to 3 people that knows more about cars than my husband or myself and they all agreed that he should’ve suspected alternator after battery tested confirmed it wasn’t battery. So I felt like he was taking advantage of us and refused the repairs on alternator cost. After leaving it there a 2nd day and dropping in the office with my friend to talk to him in front of other customers, he acted a bit more friendly. He agreed to only charge me for the part they put in the alarm system and then the alternator work. It was still too expensive in my opinion, but it was better than the $700 he originally expected. I think we paid around $380. So with 3 good experiences and last not so good, I’m hesitant about going back. I just worry what if the owner has a grudge against me for the hassle with the van and decides to take advantage of me and overcharges me or damages my car.

Recently went there too change my clutch on my Fa5 Civic Si. They did a great job and reasonable prices. I highly recommend too anyone.

The worst place ever they don’t know what the problem was with the car after having the car in shop for 4 hours with me having an appointment before I came in . I guess it won’t mean anything to them people waiting for several hours for nothing . And they end up braking an arm control on driver side and saying wasn’t them .

The truth is, I do not recommend this Omega mechanic workshop, terrible customer service, I unfortunately took my car due to problems with some lights, I had some problems with something electrical and they could never repair my car and on the contrary they left it worse with the problem and incidentally they charged me $ 700 and The car was 2 months in your Omega mechanic shop please countrymen look for another alternative they give you terrible service and the truth is I dont mind paying 700 or 1000 dollars but you always want a good job to be done but this Omega mechanic shop I do not recommend

It was a horrible experience, I went to fix my car at this workshop and it is a year old and they could never fix it and they took them to be fixed because they gave me a one-year guarantee when they fixed it, it lasted 2 days and it was out of stock again and I took it another time and it lasted 22 days to fix it again and it was all year until they told me that other codes had already come out that were no longer the same and they also put parts of the yonke without telling me until today 8/14 / 18 I went to pick up and he didnt even take care of me, the one who attended me was a worker and he was the one who told me about the piece that they had put on the yonke it was no longer useful and they never told me anything I only put this so that people think twice times to enter this workshop because we do not earn money so easily
