I initially contacted Climate Control Services for a quote on a new Armstrong A/C unit (mine was an Armstrong but 21 years old and while still running well, given its age, I wanted to be proactive). I told Tom I wasnt interested in having my Armstrong heating system replaced given I had that done in 2012 however, I was having issues high variable temperatures between the 1st and 2nd floors.Tom came out, assessed my home, square footage, calculated the loads, etc. in addition to looking at my current A/C and heating system. He immediately said that the sheet metal work/ductwork wasnt done correctly (explained why), in addition to the furnace not being installed correctly (again, explaining and showing me why).I asked him to quote me a few different ways; a new A/C unit alone, and entire new Armstrong heating and A/C system. Tom was patient in answering my questions while I reviewed the proposals (more patient than most) and after doing so, I chose to replace both systems.Having read other reviews about Climate Control Services installs, as well as Tom going over what their protocols are with installs, I was more than pleased to see that they werent just words but the team took extra care with my home (drop cloths, extremely careful not to hit walls, doors,, booties on carpeting even though I said it wasnt necessary, etc.).As the team was testing the A/C system, my home temp. was 78 degrees, within 10 minutes the interior temp dropped to 72 degrees. Not only did I find that amazing, but the force of air coming out of the registers was much greater than with my older furnace system.Lastly, I have noticed a considerable change, for the better, between my first and second floor. Both floors, as Tom indicated they would be, are within about a degree or two of each other. With my old system, it was at least 4 degrees, if not more.Many thanks to Tom, Climate Control Services and the entire team!!!!

They increased the return air allowing the system to deliver a greater volume of air flow. The new HVAC system seems much better than the old HVAC. The price was also very competitive. I chose Climate Control because they are an American Standard dealer that installs a matched component system. Tom also took care of all the paper work. Rebates, and warranty registration.

Tom and his crew are awesome people to work with. Tom explained everything that was going to be done in our home visit. We did email and him with some questions and he answered them promptly. On the day of installation he came out to make sure we did not have any more questions and went over things with his crew. His crew was on time and professional. They were careful to make sure our pets did not get out, they covered our floors with drop cloths, cleaned up as they went along. They answered any question that we did have as they were doing the installation. After the job was complete they went through with booties on their feet to make sure everything was clean and back in place. They also took all the garbage with them. Nate went over the instructions on how to work the units and emailed the instructions to me making sure that I receive them before he left. Tom called a week later to see if we had any questions and if we were happy. Let me tell you we are VERY HAPPY with the results.

Weve used Climate Control for 10 years to maintain our HVAC and we recently used to to replace our HVAC system with a new furnace and A/C. Their technicians are very knowledgeable, work fast, explain everything and clean up the work site when they are done. The prices are very reasonable and the estimates have been accurate. Excellent service all around! Our 15+ year old boiler had stopped working and the night got below freezing, bursting one radiator. Tom Wyse stopped by and inspected everything thoroughly, answered all our questions and gave us an estimate via email the same day for a new boiler and new radiator (~$8k) as well as a link for financing. The crew came out a few days later and worked from 8am til 4pm-ish (apologies for the narrowness of the back stairs and doorway! 😅). The boiler made an odd howling sound that night so we called and a different crew came back the next day and changed up a few pipe placements and bled all the radiators again at no extra charge. Now they work like a charm, sooo wonderful to have a toasty house again! Thank you all!

I highly recommend Climate Control Services. They just replaced my old furnace, A/C, and water heater, adding a humidifier and smart thermostat. Tom Wyse, the owner, came to evaluate my needs and explained what he was recommending. He never tried to sell me on anything above what was best suited for my house. He sent proposals the same day for me to review. The price was fair and reasonable. He even takes care of any applicable rebates for you, and builds that into the final price. His excellent crew was prompt and professional, removing old equipment and installing new in about seven hours (which amazed me). They come completely prepared, with a truck that allows for fabrication on-site. Before they left, they made sure I knew how everything worked and how filters were to be replaced. Installation was great. Top of the line American Standard System is so quiet and works great. The two zoned system with dampers solved our problem of having our upstairs 10 degrees warmer than 1st floor. The quote was reasonable and fair. Chose Climate Control Services because they are American Standard installer originally but was blown away by their professionalism and installation.

Excellent service! Weve recommended Toms company to many people. Their level of attention and professionalism goes beyond! We had a brand new HVAC system American Standard supplemented with heat pump systems to save on propane heating costs when temperatures are above freezing for the past two years. Although we had issues, being an older house with poor insulation, they fixed the problem without charging us additional for the work. Great service from the beginning and continuous.If we knew some of the things we know now, I think we wouldve chosen maybe the product differently. We thought that by investing in a new system that heats the two levels of the house separately and with heat pumps for a total cost over 20k we would make the money back over the next decade or so by saving on energy bills but the cost of propane and usage for our old house is so high that we are still spending $500-$900 a month during winter months for propane heating. Its a very frustrating thing and we are getting quotes on insulation work. But that doesnt have anything to do with the company.I think that Climate Controls service and integrity is by far the best Ive seen in a company. And we have dealt with a colorful range of contractors.Its always great to see Nate! Hes so polite and helpful. And I think their product would be great in a normal, well insulated house. After discovering that we had cracks in the heat exchanger of our 21 year-old furnace, we began the process of securing bids for replacement of the furnace and the a/c unit, given that both were 20+ years-old. I used Angies List to look for HVAC contractors that specialized in high efficiency, American Standard units, as that brand (affiliated w/ Trane), received the highest marks in Consumer Reports in 18. All 3 contractors who provided bids were well rated on Angies List, yet not all were equal when considering price, knowledge, professionalism, and their attention to detail.In the end, I chose Climate Control Services, as their owner, Tom Wyse, was very thorough w/ his bid after evaluating our existing HVAC system, performing a load calculation to determine the proper size of both furnace & a/c units needed for our house, and presenting me w/ viable options based on my budget and long term needs. Not to mention they were able to get the job started less than a week after signing off on his bid!His bid included a 2-stage furnace, 16 SEER a/c unit, & a chimney liner (which my chimney did not have and is required for venting the hot water heater, which was only 5 years old and I didnt see a need to replace). The bid also included a new humidifier, whole house air cleaner w/ filter, smart thermostat, new piping for venting the furnace, new piping for draining condensate from humidifier, creation of a new, short duct run for the basement, replacement of plumbing feeding the hot water heater, and replacement of heavily corroded duct work.So although Toms bid was not the cheapest (middle quote of the 3), there was additional work added that the others didnt indicate were necessary, even though it became clear all were needed after asking Tom many questions and listening to his direct, insightful answers. So in the end, given all work performed over the two day project, I believe the cost was in a reasonable range. Tom did offer financing, though we didnt take any of it, as we used funds from elsewhere to pay for the unexpected expense. Plus he applied all rebates available to bring the cost down.Special kudos to his staff. Dan & Greg were the installers and they were great. Arrived on time both days, explained what they were doing, answered questions as I had them, cleaned up after themselves, and did a very professional, efficient job w/ both the removal of the existing systems and the install of the new. Their sheet metal work, which they did on site in their truck, was top notch, so I feel confident that the duct work will last for many years to come. One of their techs, Nate, was also great. He came to the site to assist at times and was the one who walked me through the operation of the smart thermostat and furnace.Overall the experience was really great, as Toms company really lived up to its exceptional ratings on Google and Angies List. Tom was involved from day one, w/ the quote, follow-up questions answered, visiting on site both days to ensure the project went on w/out a hitch, and then walked me through the operation/maintenance of the system a second time, including the smart thermostat, which was very helpful. Without any hesitation, I would recommend using Climate Control Services to install your new HVAC system, as Tom really knows his stuff!

We paid the emergency after hours fee, but someone came out within an hour to assess the furnace and provide a solution for the weekend until they resumed normal operating hours the following Monday. On Monday, I received my estimate and someone came out for the repair that day. The work was done quickly and thoroughly, and we would definitely use this company again. My heating system went out in the evening. I left a message with a very friendly person that night. Early the next day Tom sent me a text saying they could fix it the same day. I was still asleep, and didnt respond, so Tom called me at around 9:30 and said he could send someone out the same day, and he scheduled it according to my schedule. Nate came out and evaluated the problem and said I needed a new motor, and showed me the problems with the old one. He gave me a reasonable quote and installed the new motor. He did a great job. There was no pressure to buy, I took my time to review his estimates and also got estimates from 2 other reputable companies. They told me how long it would take to do the job and they were very professional about doing the job, taking care not to damage our wood floors by laying down work tarps as they removed the old furnace and had to walk through our dining and living rooms to exit the house. Furnace was not working when we returned from a trip. Tom returned message left on office phone right away. Emergency service provided after hours and technician arrived within an hour. Part was installed in about 30 minutes.Technician had was courteous and helpful.Fee ($150) for emergency service was reasonable.Technician did not carry the specialty part that failed so he drove to pick up part from manufacturers store same night. We choose to pay a fee for opening the manufacturing store up that night after hours instead of going without heat until the following day. Would recommend company. I can say we have never experienced this type of service, typically a company just rushes in does the job and leaves.We are very pleased with the work and will highly recommend Climate Control Services.

Great customer service! They were able to send someone out the same day even though they were extremely busy! The service guy was very friendly and diagnosed the problem quick and got the repair done! Very happy with the results!

We are very happy with the whole process starting from quote to installation. Tom gave us the quote for installing a new AC unit and Furnace. He explained all the details about the equipemnt he is proposing and how the work will be completed. Danny and Craig came and completed the installation in a very professional way. They took great care in the execution and explained to us how the various systems work. They left the work are very clean. We are extremely satisfied.

Danny did a great job today of servicing our furnace ( fall checkup. ) He is very professional and took precautions for safety ( mask/distancing.) Danny also took care with shoe covers. Our furnace is ready to go for the winter! We already signed up for spring maintenance too!

They installed a new furnace and AC unit for me. This company is top shelf and I would rate them A+. Tom the manager came to our house explained the different type of units and brands and did a load assessment to determine the correct size of units. He obtained a permit from the city and shortly thereafter the units were installed by professional, knowledgeable, experienced installers who were even tidy. Home warranty company called American Homeshield (subsidiary of frontdoor inc) failed to dispatch a technician in a timely manner. I have 2 infants and a family member with medical issues. We had no heat and they said they will get to us within the next 48 hrs. The outside temp was 7 F and colder with windchill for more than 14 hours.We called climate control, they got the appropriate part and dispatched immediately. Heat was on within 2 hours. More than 5 stars are recommended. If you have this home warranty, save your money and find one that cares about their customers. Climate control was there in less than 2 hours vice 2 days. Thank you guys, great team effort and great tech.

Climate Control is great! They replaced both of our air conditioner units and we are extremely happy with everything. They were very nice and professional. They install American Standard air conditioners - arguably the best - and their price was considerably better than others. If you do a little research you will hear that the installation is as important as the brand. Climate Control ranks among the best here, too. All in all, youd be missing on a great opportunity if you didnt contact them for an estimate. Professional, great equipment, great price, great installation. I feel lucky to have found them thru these reviews.

The folks at Climate Control Services continue to impress with their top notch service and dependability. They came out to perform a furnace clean and check and ended up discovering an issue with the humidifier (motor was out). The technician (Nate) was nice enough to take the time to review the issue with me and made sure I understood the next steps. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from Tom who again walked me through the issue and explained my options. Its not everyday you have an expense like a new humidifier to worry about, but Tom and team took all those worries away. Their product knowledge and recommendations tailored to fit my budget put my mind at ease. I knew I was in good hands. The truly amazing part was how fast and helpful they were about scheduling the next visit. Within a day, they were back out to install the new humidifier, they didnt miss a beat. Tom and his team at Climate Control are great to work with! They just installed a new HVAC system in my house, after doing the same thing in another house about 6 years. I was very happy with the installation and service both times. Dan and Greg were very clean and courteous, and answered any questions I had. Tom is very responsive and very easy to work with. He knows what hes talking about, and is not a salesman at all.

We had several companies come out to quote us on replacing our furnaces and air conditioners. Tom was by far the most professional and came up with the best plan for our venting system. He never applied any high pressure sales tactics and just seemed very straight forward with every step of the process. Tom and team were quick to come out and provide a quote for a new furnace and air conditioner and quick to install it as well. Climate Control was not the cheapest of the quotes we received, but Tom was the only one to provide an itemized quote, include all rebates in the price, and do a proper assessment of the energy needs of our house, rather than just replacing the units with the same size. Overall, we are very happy with our new units.

The technician, Nate, was on time on the agreed appointment hours. When the furnace switch broke down for whatever reason, he was able to fixed the problem and very helpful in answering my questions about heating/ac. I will certainly call them again if any problem arise with my HVAC.

Outstanding HVAC company. My AC had been leaking Freon since the end of summer, 2016. I had already had another company out who added more Freon and suggested looking into a new unit. My system was 25 years old and I knew it was just a matter of time before the heat or Air went out completely. I called 3 different companies for quotes and Tom from Climate Control was the first to call within 30 minutes of my request. Tom was able to come out the same evening and reviewed our needs. He was very professional and knowledgeable and helped us understand the different systems and how they worked. After spending over an hour with us answering various questions and determining our needs, he measured the rooms and even windows to ensure we had the right size AC (3 1/2 ton unit) and furnace. He even emailed us a proposal before the end of the night. We were so impressed by his professionalism and knowledge of the system that we canceled our other quotes. We were able to negotiate a great price and went with the high efficiency system. His crew was out the following Wed at 8:00am and did an outstanding job. Dan and Greg were very professional and careful when removing they old system and installing the new one. They estimated it would take them 8 hours to complete the work and were done in 7. I cant speak highly enough about the great job they did. Tom was on site before the guys were done and took the time to review the new thermostat and all its features with me until I was comfortable with it. We cant believe the difference in the cooling of the house, rather than having to keep the temperature set for70, we are now able to keep it at 75 and feel much more comfortable. Now the house is cooled evenly, the upstairs rooms are now the same temperature as the downstairs area. When the Village inspector came out to review the work, he commented on what a nice job the installers did. The duct work was neat and well sealed. He said he didnt see a lot of jobs done as well as this was. Again, Climate Control is the company to use. Extremely knowledgeable about all systems, fantastic work and great employees. We had our furnace and air conditioner replaced and also had a new humidifier and smart thermostat installed. Tom was fantastic from my initial outreach through the installation and even afterward.
