What a wonderful experience I have every time I go. The staff is always eager to help and that is hard to find lately. Even with their masks on you can tell they are smiling.Last time I was in they mentioned that if I every need anything they have free deliveries to my area on Wednesdays. So I thought I will give it a try and I’m so glad I did. From ordering on the phone with Johnny to the follow up call on the delivery time it was amazing. I highly recommend this service and how they go the extra mile.Great job Russo and staff!!

I took my 3 year old Ryan aerator to get a tune up in early March. Three weeks later the chain broke. They never lubed it, some of the chain links were stuck in place. I also dropped off a string trimmer to get a tune up at the same time and explained to them that it shuts off on its own. I paid and they supposedly fixed the issue. It still turns off!! I took a less than a year old Ryan aerator to get serviced two weeks ago, it was sputtering and surging. I get it back yesterday and the chain is extremely loose. I spoke to the manager and complained about the service. He told me to take them back so they can take a look at them. I am tired of wasting valueble time taking my machines to get fixed. They charge top dollar to service the machines, but offer very poor quality work. Im never using their service department again. I also DO NOT recommend you waste your money nor time taking your machines to get serviced at the Elgin Russo.

Charged for work they didnt do. Refuced to let me talk to the owner. 4 trips back, still wont work. Police got involved and then they offered a refund. Presently filing a civil suit for fraud. Monday I will call the Attorney Generals office asking for criminal charges. Yes. Im that mad at them.

Just bought a new dump trailer from Russo Power Equiptmemt! I really enjoyed working with Jose Muneton. He showed me all the options the trailer had and was able to bring it to the store for me to see very quickly. When I came to pick it up he got the paperwork done fast and had me on the road quickly so I could continue on with my projects. The trailer is doing a great job and will definitely be back to get another one.

Complete purchase experience is complicated and in my case unsatisfactory. I wanted a bag of fertilizer but it’s not on the selling floor and only in back warehouse. So I waited in line for someone to take my order then waited in another line to pay and then drove around to back of store to wait to pick up a simple bag of fertilizer. I’m now 20 minutes in to this now and a guy comes out with an open bag of fertilizer with what was 35 pounds of a 50 pound bag. Said it was the last one he had. If I didn’t like it I would have to go back in line and get a refund. If the purchase wasn’t sight unseen or if they had a proper inventory management system, I wouldn’t have invested all this time. So net net I paid full price for an open bag of 15 pounds short of full. Awful buying process that seems to make little to no sense.

Russo did a horrible job to my F-350 after they install a snow plow into my truck.The manager just wanted to wash he’s hands by saying that a had a bad stater but that is B.SMy truck was running at 100% until Russo mess with all me wiring the me mechanic toll me that they foundMultiple wiring disconnected plus the burn my starter by trying to figure out what the problem wasWasted my time for 3 days never received a call for updates I had to como into the service department to find out what the problem was told the manager that I was very unhappy with the service he did not care at all pay extra money from my pocket and my truck keeps dying in the the roadThis totally not acceptable people!!!!

Great store!!! They have many different brands of commercial yard equipment to look and try out. Super customer service with a lot of yard knowledge. Only draw back... theres not a store in Rockford, Illinois....so I could shop local. But they do make weekly free deliveries to Rockford if you spend over $100.00. Which this year we are going with their 5 step lawn program, so Im looking forward to see a bigger improvement in our yard for 2019!!!

The store it’s self is great but some of the employees are very rude and have a tone which is not welcoming, some employees are very nice and helpful if, it’s a hit or miss

I went to russos today 4/17/2020 just to buy some maintenance parts for my lawn mower. i drove over 45 minutes to get there since its says everywhere online theyre open i finally get there and a rude gentleman at the door asked me in a nasty tone what i was doing there and i told him im just here to shop and then asked me what company i was with and told him i wasnt with any company i was here just to shop. Then in a horrible tone and attitude told me i couldnt be here and that they were open to contractors only. This isnt right they should warn people and notify the public that they are only open to contractors only so people dont waste there time and drive over 45 minutes like i did. And i would highly suggest for them to look into hiring better employees who arent so rude. I will no longer be shopping at russos horrible experience and poor service.

When they open stores they are very courteous, there after get like we are asking a favor, that’s business not a non profit corporation,Put on hold for long periods of time, they say we are busy, well! If there that busy hire more employees!Every time I go there they are just walking around doing very little or nothing, higher prices than other places, but they do stock many items.

In this place you can find everything you need to keep your landscaping company going. They have everything from trailers, equipment, parts, tools, fertilizers, etc. Very friendly and knowledgeable personal too. Highly recommend 👍🏼

So we bought a 8,000 dollar snow plow here and we drop the truck running in 100%. we never had any issue with our truck before and now after they install the snow plow the truck started to die. They been working for more than a week trying to find out what’s wrong with the truck and I don’t receive any call from them to let me know any updates. So now I have to pay a tow truck and take it to repair shop because for buying a snow plow with this people they messed up my truck. This people just wanted to wash their hands by saying that my truck had other issues.

Dan OBrien is so responsive regarding questions I have about products Im looking for.As a commercial Arborist and owner of Green Extraction Technologies,LLC I applaud the ownership and management team for the creation of the Bull Pen a place inside the store dedicated to where facets of our Industry can hold training meetings seminars and classes. They are to be commended for their efforts in promoting the advancement of professionalism in the Green Industry in my case Arboriculture by creating a space that is a fully equipped class room / lecture hall.

I went to Russos to buy some snow shovels. I went and the store overall is big and clean. Their snow shovel rack was pretty empty, but i guess a couple of weeks of snow does that to a store. However, i asked a gentlemen that works in the service department if they had anymore snowplo shovels. He checked the computer and said they had some in the back. He told me they had to assemble it and it would take like 10min. He went and grabbed that shovel for me very friendly. He took someone with him to help. As i was waiting i walked around looked at stuff, I heard a young lady that works in russos use a racial word. I dont want to spell it out but i starts with N and ends with A. Very unprofessional. I over heard her bad mouth a customer and she just had very poor manners. I couldnt wait to leave. The gentlemen took a little longer than 10min but still very helpful and apologize for the wait, I paid, and left that building. Wont ever come back to hear stuff like that.

This place has the worst customer service. They hire young people with zero experience and the company doesnt care how the Customer is being treated by their employees. The worst customer service Luis one of the sales sold me a new 48 scag vride all scrash and rubber handles with a hole. I talked to the GM eloid he was the same he didnt care. I told him the situation and he just walk away. Its a great place but the peple running it are terrible. Very poor customer service !

Terrible service horrendous service the one they offer when you go to buy parts the tone used by those who work there apart from when the customer leaves they still make fun of him who does not know the name of the part he is going to buy they should give them course From customer service to all these jerks that if you dont like your job, quit and go to the employment agency so they will know how to value the job you have (specifically Russian power in the parts area)
