Loved my experience at this location! Immediately when I walked I was greeted by a friendly staff member and was shown different storage units. She was very helpful in answering all my questions and providing me with useful information. She helped me prepare for my unit and any products that may help with my move. This facility has easy in and out access, temp controlled, AND pest/bug free!! I feel safe when I enter and leave the building and love their security camera footage. Wouldnt want my stuff stored anywhere else!

As a first time storage unit user, their services were amazing! From the moment I called the online customer service number to the quick follow-up from the store manager herself, shout out to Krystle, they were all professional and very helpful. They answered all my questions, which was A LOT, and made me feel reassured that my belongs would be secure.The building is clean, has multiple access points to get to your unit quickly, and maps to help you find your way. Also, their units are indoor and on one level, so no cramming stuff into elevators. The option to rent moving vehicles is a plus as well. I would highly recommend them and will use their services again if needed!

Management has changed a few times in recent years. Krystle is always available and willing to help get issues resolved. The facility is always clean and I never have any issues that cant be resolved.

Krystle Geyer, store manager, at the Elgin (Airport Road) Facility has been so helpful while we are transitioning to another state. We needed another locker and she provided! They are great here! Crystal and Jennifer were very helpful. I needed to find my storage which they helped me with and then they helped cut off the locks( not easy to do!). All with a smile.

The office at this facility was so polluted with bleach and Lysol I could not breathe in the office I had to leave. They claim they use Simple Green but I know what Lysol and bleach smell like. I personally believe that it was much more toxic of an environment with the chemical cleaners than what they were trying to really do

To whom it may concern,I do not rent at Life Storage but work at a neighboring business. Life Storage is the first business when entering the center. Today I drove by and stopped to chat with the manager. She was outside cleaning the parking lot in front of the building. I wanted to say thank you to her for keeping the parking lot clean from all the garbage AMAZON creates. With a chuckle she replied Its ok, it allows me to get fresh air. If you are not aware, there is a sea of Amazon trucks in our parking lot and with summer approaching Im sure she will get lots of fresh air.

I met with both Jennifer and Krystle on separate occasions and both ladies were nothing but professional and friendly. They explained everything thoroughly and made the entire process a smooth one. I would recommend this place for others.

Ive never used storage units before, but, since I was moving from a house to an apartment, I needed a storage unit and a moving van. I have had a great experience so far. Tiffany was great and explained everything perfectly. The facility is clean and the unit I have is exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I would change is that there be a few more carts. They get taken up quickly on the weekends!

VERY clean facility and great employees!!! They actually let our kids band use on of the units at night, to practice in while our studio was being built. It was pretty cool. (yes, I paid for that unit too. ;-)Never had any problems there and these days, thats pretty uncommon.Definitely a 5-star Elgin business!

Bery bad situation. I Hope they can help with this. UPS delivered a package, someone signed for it in the store. Place in the back according to videos. Now the package is no where to be found and manager say he is too busy to watch videos to see what happen with the package and the person who signed for it is no longer there. Noone wants to be responsable for it. So i hope a manager with authority gets back to me to respond for an ex-employee actions. Well see what happen. Any suggestion by someone reading this let me know. Bbb? Attorney general? Coporate office?
