I have done business with this place in the past, and was very unhappy with the lack of respect the owner has for his customers. I dont know why I went back today. I shouldnt have, but in order to help one of our kids I was going to rent a uhaul again from this place. The Owner acts as if he is doing YOU a favor by allowing you to do business with him. I did cancel and walk out. It is not worth the headache if you respect yourself to do business with this jackass. There are other places to do business with that will treat you as a customer.

Reserved a truck at a different location, received an email the morning of pick up that the pick up location had changed. Mobile no-contact pickup uhaul app had some password issues and this guy starts yelling at us that it won’t let us pick up because we were late…20 minutes late, which I admit to but it’s because the location was 20 minutes further away. Bottom line, the guy was really rude and I would not do business here.

I reserved a truck for after hour pick up. Store closed at 5 my pick up was at 6:30. I called at 4 pm to confirm my reservation and at that time was not given any heads up. Easily set up and accessible, kinda fun, like a scavenger hunt lol. We recently had a snow storm which the parking lot had yet to be addressed. My particular truck was parked next to the building and another truck. The snow was about 9 inches high on the windshield, the snow was under the truck up to the truck. I attempted to clean and maneuver the truck until I almost crashed it into another truck. I decided to come back in the morning to get assistance with the truck. Upon arrival I explained the issue, the guy asked for the key to get the truck for me. I simply stated you may want to take a shovel out with you, as it is stuck in the snow. He immediately raised his voice telling me MAAM MAAM THATS NOT MY JOB.... I told him I was just giving him a heads up like he should have done me when I called to confirm the reservation. Anywho because of his immediate rudeness and unprofessionalism I asked to have my reservation cancelled. He told the guy on the phone for some reason I decided to cancel my reservation. Not because his landlord didnt clear the snow as he stated. Very inconvenient!

Without a single doubt in my mind I can say, I’m very disappointed and I regret using DHL services. It was a waste of my time and definitely money. I drove 30 minutes to a DHL accredited location to drop off a package. I spend more than an hour and a half filling a ridiculous amount of paperwork at the location necessary to process the package. The package was going from IL, USA to Zacatecas, Mexico. The measurements of the package were approximately 22in x 12in x 13in. The weight of the package was 27 pounds. I paid more than 346 US dollars and was told that I might be asked to paid more by customs in Mexico. A few days later package got sent back. Apparently customs didn’t approved it because it had dry tea. The person in charge at the DHL accredited location, refused to send the package again. Before sending the package, he typed a list of every single item that was in the package. In other words, he knew there was dry tea inside the package, and he didn’t mentioned anything to me about the possibility of not passing through customs. I’m sure it is not the first time somebody send a package to Mexico. As an accredited DHL person he should be well aware of what is allowed and what is not allowed through customs. I had a different image of DHL. If I knew this was going to happen I would had never consider using DHL for my shipping services.
