Buyer beware!! Poor quality…..even considering the low cost. In addition, a buyer would be foolish thinking a return or correction is made easy. Their online form requires an order number…..problem is, the order number exceeds the number of digits allowed on the form. It’s obvious, HF has done everything possible to discourage returns….and/or in my case, replacement of missing components of order.My last order….and I do mean last….included the “3 Piece Solar Light Set,” consisting of 3 lighted decorations. The online image (and the container) illustrated a dragonfly, a butterfly, and a hummingbird. The box I received had been opened and the butterfly was missing.According to HF, I have to return the item for credit, but return shipping will not be reimbursed. Very clever, HT. The cost of shipping will exceed the item value, thereby negating appropriate reimbursement, not to mention the time and effort of making the return shipping arrangement. It seems obvious, HF anticipated excessive returns (prompted by poor quality), else why would they make returns so difficult?Btw, my order also included a flashlight. Oh yeh, did I mention that the flashlight was “on” when I opened the box. REAL QUALITY CONTROL, HEY? And how about that CUSTOMER SERVICE?? NOT!!

Well hello everyone today I had the opportunity to visit harbor freight and I am traveling from out of town they had something that local stores could not provide to me so With that being said I walked into harbor freight today and asked for assistance immediately when I walked in the young lady by the name of candy was so polite and willing to assist she had no issue or standoff attitude with her multitasking skills she speaks with a very polite tone and a smile in her voice I had the opportunity to speak with her manager on duty at the time which I did not capture his name but he was very accepting of the compliments given about the store and the services provided to me if you are ever in the area stop by to say hello they would love to serve you this location is spacious very clean and plenty of parking once again I would like to think the staff for their over and beyond assistance

It said the item I needed was in stock but I couldn’t find it. Good prices.

Nice and clean and very organized. But there restocking fees will give you a heart attack if you have to take something back. I was charged $70.00 restocking fee for something that did not work properly because I didnt want a replacement.

They had a lot of good stuff and really inexpensive and I was looking for tire blower upper its my first visit there the man and the woman in the back seems a little perturbed with me for asking them to help me I dont know but I like the price of the portable tire air something

This is the place to shop especially if your a do-it-yourself type person, like myself. They are always well stocked with very low pricing. Ive always been able to find what Im looking at a great price.

Cashier was rude and not helpful at all....I asked a simple question and immediately could tell she did not want to be there by her answer of. NO WE DONT HAVE ANY AND I DONT KNOW WHEN WE WILL GET ANY IN STOCK.....I told her she needed to take a lunch break......i will not go back to this location....I have a house in Sunbury and at the beach and purchase quite a lot.

Love the tools, but during the pandemic, you may want to shop elsewhere.... Customers and employees are not taking the mask issue super seriously, and the ones who are wearing masks are chin strapping them on instead of covering their mouth and nose. Heads up folks.

Employees were friendly & helpful. Store is clean, & very brightly lit, which is good unless youre an individual that cant tolerate such bright fluorescent lights. Merchandise was well stocked, organized, & neat. Restroom is single occupancy, but neat & clean.

This the third time they didnt have it in the store. A big tool box, a work bench and today a saw that was in the Sunday paper. The personal are very helpful though. Someone needs to look into this problem. Not happy with them.

Love that I can get items much cheaper than from local competitors. They always have coupons that you can use to get 20% off and a free item. Also they back their products; if a tool breaks, its no hassle to return it for a replacement.

Im glad they opened a location in Elizabeth City. It was nice to see them repurpose an older building instead of building another structure. The store was neat/clean and the staff was friendly. Your discount coupons are good for the entire month after use. Do not throw away your coupons!

People tend to underestimate Harbor Heights products but i have bought 2 generators 1 is 6 years old the other is 5 years old both still in great condition. also several power tools and hand tools im very happy there is a franchise in Elizabeth city North Carolina now its in city with much less traffic

Absolutely the rudest employees of any of the Harbor freight locations. The coupons seldom work there and when you inquire why, you get we are not responsible for the coupons If you can save yourself the grief and go to another store.

Busy day. Staff took a bit to realize there were about 20 people in line then they opened 2 more registers. Inexpensive tools and equipment. Good if your a do it yourself-er / home owner / etc. Would not recommend for professionals as quality is questionable and probably short life of most items under heavy / continuous use

All I can say is...Man Candy! They had to pull me out of this store. I couldnt stop shopping all the manly tools. Cant wait to go back and blow a few more dollars!

I had a hard time finding what I was looking for. I asked an associate and he told me if its not on the shelf they dont have it. I would have expected that he at least check the shelf. I went back to the shelf and was able to find the Sawzall I was looking for.

It took a long time for them to decide that Virginia was too far to drive for Harbor Freight, but someone woke up and made a good decision. Helpful staff when you need it, as I have been there often since they opened. The store is in Eliz. City located where the old Wal-Mart used to be, for those familiar with the area.
