Was looking for a thermostat for an old NPR. Nobody seemed to have it and I could not get through to half of the parts departments I was calling. They got me my part and since I did not make it there in time the guy left it out so that I could grab it after hours. They are just great over there.

DO NOT GO HERE SCAMMERS AND THIEVES!!!Let me start off by saying we switched to this shop after another local shop installed a broken intercooler on a brand new truck and told us we need to buy a new one. I complained to Izuzu corporate and they made it right and recommended we try this location. (boy do I wish I looked at their reviews prior)We came here to get our tail lights fixed. (faulty wiring by Izuzu plant should have been covered on a new truck thats wired wrong, but it wasnt. We paid the bill.) Then they tried to charge us to fix the 7 pin trailer plug. My boss decided I will do this myself. When going to make the repair we saw that they cut the wire harness in half. ( they told us it needed to be replaced that it was bad.) Not to mention the tail lights they fixed where done with clip on wire clamps. (this is not how a professional fixes wiring. A professional uses solder and heat shrink) We got jerked around waiting for a phone call from Craig the manager. I never got to talk to Craig so we asked for the owners contact info and we where told no. When I told them we are done waiting for Craigs call, Wayne told me they cant help me untill I bring the truck in. This was very irritating as we where told to wait to hear from Craig. This is the worse service in the world. We just paid 78k for this truck from Izuzu. I expected better service on a truck that costs more then an average salary. Upon going to write this bad review. I get to see a lot of other reviews like mine. (really wish I checked google first) I uploaded a picture. The harness is obviously cut in half, not broken. Its a clean cut from wire cutters. Our shop manager referred to it as wire soup Going to this mechanic shop was supposed to free up some time for our shop guys. In the end its costing us much more in lost time and rented trucks. I told our owner its best we go back to in house service. This place has fraud written all over it. For what its worth I dont think that its Craig or Wayne. (Wayne has been a great resource in the past.) I think its the mechanic that cut the wires, and I cant blame them for standing behind their man who says he didnt do it. I would do the same. However, it happened, and our firm will no longer be trusting any shops to touch our equipment. Lesson learned.

We have a small fleet of trucks that we have serviced at Illinois truck centre. It is hard to find a good and knowledgeable repair facility. They have been servicing our fleet for just over three years with no complaints. They came highly recommended to us, I highly recommend them to you.

Truck Drivers Read this review before taking your truck to Illinois truck Center. I had a problem with my truck so I decided to take the truck to Illinois Truck Center. Its took them over two weeks to diagnose the problem with the truck and they try to charge me over 17 hours for labor time just to diagnose the problem, once they diagnose the problem they charge me for 2 hours to fix it. After speaking with the person in-charge(Ark) they agreed to reduce couple of hours. I paid the enormous amount of bill and I picked up the truck.30 miles after I drove out with the truck the same problem repeated again, so I called Ark and his response was dont worry about it bring the truck and I will take care of it. After bringing the truck back to them its took them couple of days to find out what is the issue and they charged me additional $560. I picked up the truck from them and guess what happened 20 miles away from their shop? Yes, same issue repeated. I tried to speak with the owner and she ignored my calls and never got back to me. I decided to take the truck to a different shop since Illinois Truck Center its a rip off company. They literally steal money from their clients and I wish I read the reviews here before doing business with them.

Worst Place to take your truck for service after 2.5 weeks of my truck being down and at there lot. And after numerous phone calls to check the status finally i had to get down and dirty and raise my voice. Really do not understand how a company is still in business. Do they not read the reviews is management clueless or is it they just do not care because the next Isuzu repair center is 100miles away. Well really does not matter to all if i where you i will stay away. And look for another place who cares about you.

My fiancé dedicated himself to this job for 13 months. In their handbook it states after a year of service, they pay for one week of vacation. My fiancé put in his two weeks notice at the end of June and worked out the the two weeks. He had verbally confirmed he would be paid for his vacation but once he left they told him he was not entitled to any vacation pay after 13 months. They claim it starts to accrue after a year. Even though the hand book states differently. This place of business is a joke. The fact that they mistreat their employees so much, it shows how horrible the service to the customers is. The owner Sharon is a rich woman who is only in the business to make herself more money and not care about her employees or customers suffering. It’s sad how employers like her get such great employees and then screw them over like this. My fiancé only left because we decided to move to another state. So that week of vacation pay he was entitled to really messed up our finances. I guess it’s easier for Sharon to profit and become rich than it is to treat her customers and employees well. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. If so, do it at your own risk because if they can’t treat their employees well.... why would they be good to customers.

An appointment only gets you a slot in line when you bring the truck in not an actual time or even day they are going to start looking at your truck. You might have to leave it there for days just to have them diagnose it let alone order any parts or do any repairs. What is the point of taking appointments if it doesnt mean you are going to actually look at the truck that day. fine if my truck is not working I can leave it there until you are ready for it but why would I leave a functioning truck for multiple days to get looked at?

Before I write this review I would like to give a quick background of myself so you know my history with service vendors. I currently am in charge of managing a fleet of 350+ trucks and there is no other vendor I trust more than ITC. I have had on numerous occasions where I will bring ITC a truck to get serviced and they will finish the job the same day for me saving the day for me. Every time I bring them a truck I know it is in great hands and they ALWAYS keep me in the loop when my truck is being repaired. Once a day they call me letting me know the status of my vehicle and NEVER complain when I call them asking for an update. I have used over 20 vendors for my fleet and I will never go any where else to get my Hinos and Isuzus repaired. Wayne and Tony and the rest of the crew are amazing and I appreciate everything they do for me

CONSUMERS BE AWARE, DONT GO TO ILLINOIS TRUCK CENTRE1-13-2016 I dropped off the truck for repair of oil leaking into radiator, and overflow tank. Also the turn signals were not working properly.2-1-2016 I picked up the truck, paid $3949.17 for the repairs. I got down the block and realized the truck was not fixed, and took it back. The truck sat there for 4-5 weeks (into March). They called and said they fixed it, and once again I took off, and it wasnt fixed. I called them, and they said the problem would subside after I put some miles on the truck.August 2016 I had put 280 miles on the truck since they repaired it. Still had the same issues, and I had a 1 year warranty on the previous work, so I took it back. The truck sat there through August, September, and into October and still there. The only amount I authorized was $300.00 more for repair, nothing else.On October 6th, Wayne called, and left a voicemail saying the parts, and labor would be on his dime.On October 10th, Wayne called, and said a new oil pan would be on their dime.On October 11th, I went to pick up the truck, and Wayne gave me a bill for $5944.00. I told him I never authorized any work over $300.00. Wayne stated I assumed you wanted your truck fixed, and I stated I would never authorize that amount. The truck is a 2005 GMC, and the close to $10000.00 is more than the truck is worth. He told me he would discuss this with the General Manager, and get back to me. This never happened, as with many other times when phone calls were made to check on the status of the truck. Wayne emailed once, and never returned any calls. My wife has left numerous messages with no return. A voicemail to Eugene was left, and he returned it by stating he didnt listen to the voicemail but how can I help you? I explained what was going on, and he stated Ill get back to you, and never did.Their customer service is HORRENDOUS, and what theyve done is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!BOTTOM LINE: THEY DID UNAUTHORIZED WORK, AND WERE NOT PAYING FOR IT, AND THEYRE HOLDING OUR TRUCK RANSOM.WEVE BOUGHT TWO TRUCKS FROM THEM BEFORE, AND THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT US.Read their reviews on social media, and youll see this is not something new for them, theyve done this before. Obviously this is how they run their business.

Should be no Star....This place we have no words can explain how bad they do business from sale to service department. Manager Eugene has no business skill how to run business. I wish never buy brand new a truck here and do service here anymore. Don’t even mentioned end up paid extra money when we bought the new truck then they screwed up paper works then up police locked up our truck. Also that they promised to refund then never did.Service is horrible. From worst to super worst when scheduled maintenance of new truck. There are so many excuses about miss communication and bad practice processes. We wasted too much time with their process. Every time they promised something then never delivery what they promises. We had to rent other trucks to do our business. Can’t depend on this place. Very unprofessional. don’t ever think to go to this place to buy new Isuzu truck or do service. I will report to Isuzu how terrible how they do business.

This place is a joke. We had our truck serviced there after being solicited by one of their sales people. We were told we didnt have an account and had to pay COD. We are a large nationwide company and do not have the ability to write checks locally so we asked to open an account. We were told we had not established enough purchase history so they would not open an account for us. I guess we just need to stick with Illinois Truck Center from now on.

Hello, I took my truck for warranty with only 6000 miles. Im a mechanic and I knew that the problem was related with the DEF system so warranty will cover that, when I called they told me that the problem was the fuel filters had GEL when weather was in the 70s and I replaced the filters few days before. so they ended charging 678.00.. I think that is not right because they get money for the warranty and from me....great job
