This is the best experience I’ve had in a Harley Dealership!!! I collect poker chips from around the country, I have never been to Minnesota until today. I picked this dealership because of its unique name. Unfortunately I was going to be arriving about 10 minutes after closing. I called the shop and spoke to Deb who said “come on anyway I’ll let you in so you can get your poker chips” thank you so much for helping me get a very nice chip for my collection, and not letting me miss the opportunity! Great staff definitely will be back again earlier in the day, so I can spend more time there!!!

Lindsey and Dustin were fabulous in helping me pick my new Road Glide special. It wasnt just about selling me a bike. They asked me multiple question from what kind of riding I did long or short runs. What styles I like. They then guided me to what would best fit my style but also my body type and they were spot on. I have already put 2,000 miles on the bike in just three weeks it by far is the most comfortable/sexy bike I have ever owned. I just have to say the whole staff was amazing!

Just spoke on the phone with the service department and they said they dont work on older harleys. Mind you i have a 2001 harley roadking. Didnt know 20 years was too much for a harley motorcycle dealer to work on their own product. On top of this dave was extrememly rude and continued to interrupt and try to talk over me, highly unprofessional i would not recommend this store to anyone! If i could give 0 stars i would for how awful customer service is at this establishment.

Went for the food truck. Went inside and found a Ultra Limited. Talking with Kevin he suggested we rent a bike for a weekend since I have not been on a motorcycle in 28 years. Kat got a rental bike ready the next day and we were off. Came back Tuesday and purchased our own 2020 Ultra Limited black on black. There was no pressure. Excellent buying experience. Got to meet some really great staff in all the depts. Every time we go in its a like you are family. Renee greets you at the door. Caitlin and Kate have helped my wife with her purchases. Darin has helped make sure we are making informed decisions on accessories. Jeff and Eric made sure everything went smooth getting our bike in for the accessories and 1000 mile service. Sales staff are all great to talk to and work with. Bob helped cover for Kevin when we picked it up our bike since we couldnt wait to get all the accessories installed. Finally the day came to pick up the bike the way we wanted it. Mike greeted us. He is very genuine and friendly. Kevin gave a great announcement and welcoming us into the Harley family.

This last summer in June I purchased my dream Harley I’ve been saving up for 7 years. It’s a 2017 Street Glide. I had a lot of issues with this dealership (and corporate) and feel like they need to be expressed. One of the things I requested when I bought my bike BRAND NEW was to have the decals removed off of the gas tank. In the process of removing them they put a scratch/dent in the tank. I also paid extra for black front forks (they’re silver on the stock bike). After riding it for a few weeks they accumulated lots of paint chips from rocks on the road (as you can see it wasn’t just a couple, they were covered in chips). Now this was only on a small part of the forks. Maybe a 1/3 of them. The rest of the forks and everything else on the front of the bike did not chip (at all). So clearly there was a defect in the paint or the protective coating on that portion of the forks. When I addressed these issues to the dealership they said that they would not fix them. They said that the dent in the tank was already there from the manufacturer and since the decal covered it up they didn’t have to fix it. They said that it was my fault for riding too close to other vehicles and the chips in the paint was my fault and that they weren’t liable to fix them. I talked to the service manager multiple times and called corporate multiple times to have them fixed. They said no. Even after I showed them pictures of what happened. Finally I got the GM of the dealership involved and he agreed that these issues needed to be addressed. So while I finally got everything fixed, it took me 4 MONTHS, hours and hours on the phone and multiple trips to the dealership. For spending the amount of money that I did on a brand new Harley, I shouldn’t have to accept a chip in the tank or faulty paint on the front forks. I was also sold a windshield that was too short (I couldn’t return it and was almost $200) and I was told that the money I put into the engine would produce more power than it dyno at (I would have not spent that extra $3000 if I knew it would have put out half of what they told me). This review is more geared towards the Elk River Harley Davidson than it is at HD as whole. If you’re going to purchase anything or get anything serviced, go anywhere else than the Elk River store.

Bob was amazing and was really able to help us out! He was able to educate us and answer all of our questions! Was able to break down the prices and find the best deal for us! Really made it a one stop shop. Definitely will be coming back and pulling the trigger!

Worst parts department experience ever!!! Ordered N paid for harness for fuel sending unit, wait almost 2 months now n told can’t get it, only in California 😳😳😳. Took my money n wasted a ton of my time calling them n now can’t even call me back.

Ordered a part and ended up being on backorder for a few months. Darren worked with me communicating to figure out how to get it in time for riding season. Along with ordering the part for me was able to let me know about some recalls on my bike. Extremely pleased eight be customer service and kindness. Highly recommend stopping in for any Harley needs.

Daren was great in finding me a windshield for my bike so I didnt have to eat bugs all the way back to Omaha!

There is an employee who is in front of the store as you walk in. She is welcoming and will point you in the direction you need to go. Harley always has a great selection to look at, with many accessories for the motorcycle enthusiast. I have purchased several gifts here with great results. The apparel is high quality and worth the extra cost. Also, the parts guy at this store is more helpful and knowledgeable than other locations.

Went to this place to get a passenger backrest. Darin at parts counter was not very helpful and rude. I told him I wanted to see 3 different seat backs and he said twice I have to go all the way upstairs to get seats cushion. He acted like it was big deal to get them and I should just take his advise on which one to buy. Was very rude about it. Opened all boxes for back rest. I looked at 2 different ones, said I would take one of them. Then he put others back in boxes and threw on floor. If you dont like helping people maybe you should think about another job not working with people. Rude customer service.

Was recently involved in a bike accident, happened on Thursday, went to Zylstras on Friday, they fit me into their busy pre-Sturgis schedule. They were able to do the damage estimate and by Saturday morning I left with a brand new bike. A big thank you to Bob in sales, Joel in financing and Sonny and Kenny in service. What great customer service they all provided!

The service department is top notch with some of the best HD techs ever! When I cant do something myself, they always help me and get the job done fast. They have always offered technical advice and support to me. The parts department will do everything they can to help me keep my 1999 Ultra Classic with 140,000 miles going strong. When I ask them a technical question they know what I am talking about and always give me options to choose from. This HD shop is the best I have ever seen and that includes most of the independent wrenches I have worked with around the twin cities. The clothing department is helpful and friendly, they treat me like family. :) They got it together~!

My first experience with Zylstra was with the Service Department; they stepped up to the line, took care of a warranty issue and they didnt even sell me the bike. But I was treated as if I did. From that day forward a relationship was born. I was truly won over. Its been a loyalty experience ever since. From the Clothing Depart to Parts, the staff will go out of their way to ensure you have an experience like no other. Their sales department sold me my 09 Bagger, and like any other biker, I keep making it my ride with their expertise and knowledge. You can count on a smile factor when you know your choice and decisions are backed great experience. Every mile Ive put on this bike has been with them in my corner whether I was traveling to Denver or to Ohio or just in between on a ride with fellow riders. It was the little steps that made a major impression on me. Come on in and check them out. I think you would be pleasantly surprised, have a cup of coffee, youll find yourself welcomed and appreciated from time you walk through the doors at Zysltra Harley Davidson, in Elk River.

This place is horrible I bought 2008 Electra glide. it Cut off on me on the freeway while turning onto a ramp only had the bike for a month. So I took it back to them for the check engine light so he went to talk to the sales person and they said the bike never went threw the service check but they will check the engine light. They never told me that at the time I purchased the 08 Electra glide.. so when I called back and told them the same problem is occurring they wanted to put me in a whole knew bike that I didnt ask for.. now I have a payment and a bike I have to pay someone to look.. I guess they just want the money:

I like the way they make a big deal after you purchase a bike and take off the microphone and announce it and have you ring the bell. Also thought it was cool the way they took a picture and frame it for us to take home ... otherwise great bike - fair price - great customer service.
