Company seems to be desperate considering the numerous complaints all directed at one employee in particular. boyfriend recently visited, close to closing time and his packages were thrown by employee named Max. extremely rude, disrespectful, and downright miserable. I will be attempting to reach corporate in regards to this employee seeing as clearly nothing has been done after years. please avoid this location if Max is working as you will be talked down, packages will be handled without care, and he will treat you like you are a burden. major chip on his shoulder and he has no business being employed for this long with this number of complaints. I will be going elsewhere from now on, and I suggest others do the same. the female employees are on the other hand, wonderful and do their job right and with care and respect.to the store managers, are you truly this desperate for employees where you see it fit to keep an employee with a track record like this? shameful if so. I hope he loses his job, he is unfit to work with the public and its evident by these reviews.to the employee Max, stop being so miserable and angry with customers. you are the sole reason for this stores reputation in and outside of town. you are destroying this business with your attitude and something needs to be done to correct it.take note to the terrible reviews, all involve employees named Max and Sam. (which i am under the assumption they are one and the same)all of the positive reviews are Roberta and another female.please, do something about your employee and his terrible customer service and inability to do one of the most basic jobs in the field of retail.

I went into fedex to print some invitations and was extremely surprised by how efficient and quick the process was. The employee working, Max, was very personal and helpful and even fixed my file when some text was broken.

Ordered something online to be printed for my wedding Luanne and Roberta were fantastic to work with called me kept me in the loop with problems that we were trying to fix. However the later guy was awful inconsiderate and rude. I called and was told my whole file was bad (which was new after 3 conversations before) and when my fiancé went into the store with new files on a Zip drive and to see what was happening he was told “I don’t have time to help you” and found out they still have Microsoft 95 on the computer time for an update

The employee running the counter had a poor attitude, unbelievably slow service, and wouldn’t ship my package because I didn’t know the value of the contents; then continued to call it shady. This is the first time I’ve had a negative experience at this location, but it will be the last. I’m just going to drive the mile to the post office down the road moving forward.

Excellent customer service, so patient! I was working on a craft project and needed high quality prints. The first time I ordered them they were PERFECT. Made a few mistakes on my end, ordered some again ... PERFECT again. The third time I ordered them (yes, I was now on a mission) and the pictures were not so great. I called the store and explained my concern. They reprinted them immediately and I was able to pick them up within ten minutes.Most impressive part? The reason the pictures were not as good was because of something I had done on my end. When I got to the store the staff were so awesome and they explained how to order online printing so that I always get great results. First times the pictures were printed, the staff person knew what I was doing and had automatically improved the paper quality to give me the best results.Would definitely go back!

Seems like this isn’t the first negative review for the employee named Sam. I am floored by how poor their service is, their unwillingness to dedicate an ounce of effort, and to do the job right the FIRST TIME. I walked in, asked to scan and print several legal documents on legal sized paper, and Sam said they didn’t have that size. I had to search myself and found plenty of legal paper (Sam didn’t like that). Then Sam proceed to improperly use a staple remover on my documents, of which there are no other existing copies - I had to take over to ensure my docs weren’t torn in the process. Remove staples!. Sam then scanned the files improperly (opposite ends up on a multiple page document) - something easily avoided by either asking how the customer wants the document or just realising that, hey, it makes sense if a person can read this scan without tilting their heads upside down. How do I know? I decided to rent one of the PCs to check the scans since everything leading up to that moment had been mediocre. Glad I did! When I asked Sam, the response was that their scanners don’t have the option to preselect which side is up - seriously. FedEx office doesn’t have scanners with basic functions? All in all, I left with what I needed but by no virtue of Sam nor any disposition to be professional. Go ANYWHERE else. PS.- I expect there to be no stored copies of my documents on their scanner. I’ll follow up with corporate to ensure that.

The customer service at this shop is top notch. Always greeted when I walk through the door and very helpful sales associates and managers. We choose them for all of our quick, small batch print needs. Really great work; will definitely come back for all future needs!

Be aware of shady business practices. Went to the Elk River FedEx location on Monday 2/11/19 to get a quote to ship a package of an item I was selling. Got the quote, gave it to my buyer who them paid me for my item and for the shipping costs for the item. I go back into the FedEx location to ship the item today 2/13/19 and the shipping cost was now nearly $20 more expensive than what was quote two days earlier. Went from $13 to over $30 really? How? Why? Couldnt get any answers whatsoever. They wouldnt honor the quote and assured me this was the price well guess what? NEVER doing business with FedEx again!

Roberta is very friendly! She helped me with my shipping labels when my printer was running out of ink. She went above and beyond to help me ship my packages. I appreciate the effort and extra mile she went. I will be doing more shipping with FedEx, because of it! Thank you!

The employee Sam F provided a horrible customer experience. I had 5 packages I needed to ship, in which I needed to print documents to put in the packages in order to ship them. I gave the flash drive to the employee instructing her to print the 5 different documents and she ended up printing 5 copies of the first one rather than each individual document. When I asked what she printed she couldnt give me a straight answer about it. When I asked if I could look at the files to see if I made a mistake, she responded with Well, we close at 6, it was only 5:52 so she had 8 minutes. Clearly since she was unwilling to help figure out if she messed up or not, I left without being able to send my packages since the trip was becoming unproductive.I have never been thrilled with this location as the employees are rarely friendly. While I dont expect to be entertained by them, they always make you feel like you are the biggest problem in there day by showing up to give them business. I can only imagine how this translates to actually taking care of my packages after I have left. Maybe I just have bad luck and get the B shift employees.I have no interest in going to this Elk River, MN location ever again.

I just had a prepaid package to drop off, but the employee greeted and directed me right away, let me know shed be giving me a receipt with tracking and then sent me on my way with a smile. It was quick and painless and the associate was very friendly and helpful.

I do not trust Sam who works here. I will not bring sensitive business documents here for any reason. Sam has horrible customer service and is very rude.My distrust of employee Sam is only highlighted by the fact that Sam, an employee of FedEx has rated his/her own employer, thus, buoying the stores rating (a violation of Google terms and conditions I might add).Additionally, Sam has relatives and friends posting reviews as well (also a violation of Google terms, if the person has not been a customer at FedEx).

On 12/19, I brought in my items to be shipped (hand knitted xmas stockings for my nieces. I had looked up the 2 day delivery, & phoned the store that afternoon & inquired about rates & anticipated arrival. Upon entering the vacant store at 8:30 pm, a short person w dark hair & facial piercings (name tag said SAM) emerged from the back. Sam acted very putout to have to work. I was greet w/ scowls & screw faces. Apparently I interrupted Sams vaping, smelled it!I stuffed each stocking w/ tissue paper & then wrapped them in tissue paper, each sock has several hundred hand sewn beads on them, & I didnt want the stockings to rub during shipping etc.I gently placed the 4 socks on the counter.I requested a box from her/him (I mean no offense, I have no clue if Sam is male or female & I do not dare pick the wrong gender). Sam inquired, w/ more scowl, about what these wrapped items were; I explained they were xma socks. S/he grabbed one in a very harsh manner & squeezed it very hard, immediately I said: Those are handmade, & beaded ... theyre fragile & please handle them w care. Sam chose a HUGE box for 4 socks. I know that FedEx charges MORE for lg boxes. Sam insisted that this was the ONLY box that wld work (the box was 17x17x12). I asked Sam to bring me a much smaller box, S/he brought the next size down, & insisted it wouldnt work, again, my items were too small for that huge box. Again, I asked for yet a smaller box. At this point, Sam was very hostile. I asked to handle the box myself, Sam insisted that s/he do it, & finally put the box on top of the counter, I easily got my socks in, but there was still too much room, Sam insisted that there werent any other smaller boxes (even though I could see many smaller sizes behind him/her on the wall). I asked for material to pack in the corners & fill in the huge void of space in the oversized box. Sam violently ripped paper out of a device hanging on the wall (about a 15 length of paper) & started to wad that whole mess up into one ball & attempted to stuff that wad into the box. I REFUSED, knowing that Sam was intent on crushing my stockings. I said Id prefer to do the packing myself. I stood there & ripped the packing paper down to manageable chunks & filled out the box. After I was done padding out the box gently Same taped it up & threw it on the scale.I was told that 2 day was $128 + & delivery was NOT guaranteed by the 24th! Rather they quoted delivery for the 26t! I was there on the 19th, was asking for & willing to pay for 2 day shipping. I explained that I brought in a huge wreath just 2 weeks prior & it had only cost $36 to ship 2 day (box was 22x22x6), & weighed more than socks. Sam shrugged off my prior experiences & had no logical explanation for the extreme $$ variation.Everything about my interaction with Sam was highly uncomfortable. Sam was very creepy, to say the least to be around, and frankly, being in there alone with him/her was unnerving. To protect myself, I had my phones camera video running the whole time to capture what was said for reference. I finally stated: I think I will take my package to the FedEx in Maple Grove tmr, let me pay you for the box, s/he then tried to charge me over $9 for the box, I questioned that & s/he said the box was $3.25 & the rest was for the work to pack the box! I told Sam that I packed the box, s/he finally allowed me to pay the 3+ bucks for the box & then leave. I went to UPS in MG on 12/20 & got 2 day air for under $50! FedX is purposefully trying to up-charge. SAM is terrible, avoid @ all costs. I will NOT take business work her, for fear of their mismanagement in all possible ways. When I left, Sam put the closed sign up, @ 8:53 & waddled off to the back room. Sams extreme hostility was frightening & overwhelming to say the least, I was concerned for my personal safety. I find Sam to be a scary person. Sams hostility towards xmas was made very clear to me (that cld be interpreted as discrimination against me).The GRINCH works here!

Horrible experience. They refused to print a print-and-play document that was non-copy write. They said something about it being legal to print at home, but they couldnt. Thats BS they pulled out of a dark place. It cost me an hour on the road, too. Avoid.
