Need a thing? This is the place! They have all the things! The store is always very clean, well organized, well stocked and has pretty good parking. The reason they lost one star is that the checkout process can be real slow. However, they have great customer service and always plenty of staff to help you!

Lots of really cool stuff. I needed science diet for my cat. They are a country girls dream store.

In March I bought 5 ducks. All are still healthy and bratty. After all the reports of other chains not treating the baby chicks and ducklings in a responsible manner, Cals did a good job. Always find my supplies, and discovered the name brand mature dog food in a large sack, saving me money and trips to town. Thank you cals.

Twice in the last few years have the good folk at Elkos CAL Ranch gone out of their way with terrific customer service to help me out. I dont live in Elko but frequently pass through town and wait to do my CAL Ranch shopping when Im in Elko. Special shout out to Tammy and Carol for going the extra mile in helping me with a technical receipt issue a few weeks ago that was partly due to my stupidity. Thank you both for your understanding and excellent customer service!

This is the Elko Nv . Store the lady at the ammo counter, had no interest at all in helping us, informing us..with any info,... points to over there, thats all there is dont know when we will get more as she walking away the whole time.. just rude.. wont go to call ranch again..

For some unknown reason this chain of stores is astronomically, outrageously expensive. Their prices are 30-50% higher than other similar stores.

Clean store with a lot of good stuff

CAL Ranch is a mix of hardware/western and work clothing/outdoors. Its hard to describe exactly what kind of store they are but they are great! I find tools and parts and pants and ammo and chain saws and toys and candy at CAL Ranch so it makes it one of my favorite stores.

This store has anything youll need to be out in any type of weather.. just the prices. Boots if they dont have your size they can order it, with no extra charge if it doesnt fit you dont pay for it . Has nice stuff - a bit over priced but the feed is cheaper then other feed stores for barn animals. I wish they carried more saddles and english horse equipment but they dont and wont!Best time to buy boots & clothes are during their holiday sales.

Like what????Got a very nice jacket, scarf, and Yeti tall can insulators, also yes they fit energy drinks. First place I ever seen powdered goat milk... For pets? I think? No clue.The guy by the rifles, everyone working that counter needs to watch the Beowulf video by Demolition Ranch on YouTube.The father and son talking about the Jack Links Wild Heat, Mrs Renfros Ghost Pepper Nacho Sauce is easily 10 times hotter. However Im not calling them mild, it was for sure the hottest jerky Ive had, not the hottest in general by a longshot, sorry. You guys are funny though, you should make videos on YouTube.

Polite staff great selection

I come here with my family mainly for guns and ammo. Everyone who works in that department is extremely rude. Once while buying a gun, the older man sat and made fun of my hair the whole time. It made me very uncomfortable and a little upset to be treated that way while spending hundreds of dollars. We either go back there and wait entirely too long for service or when we do get service it is short, rude and I can always tell they dont want to be working. Or maybe they just dont want to be helping me.Today was the last day I will ever try and go in for guns or ammo. The lady working today was upset with a phone conversation and extremely snotty and rude to my husband and I. She was so rude another employee who actually wanted to help us but didnt know the department, apologized for her. I will be going to the competitor from now on.

Nice to have a place to get most things you might need for the home/ ranch. Wish the staff was a bit more reliable. Called yesterday to confirm an item was in stock, gave them a specific model number, they said they had six. Showed up today. And they only had six of a model I did not want. Lost that sale. I will order from another dealer to make sure I get what I wanted.

Large open new store, huge variety, very friendly associates.Only complaint was that I was looking for horse stall wood pellet bedding and it was only stored in back and they had to move a bunch of other stuff to get me the bags I needed. Many people are now using pelleted wood bedding for cat litter and it would be helpful if they kept a few bags with the cat supplies.UPDATE!: They now have a fully functioning website with ability to search and research product and pricing, order and pay online (CCs, and Paypal). You can also view the weekly circular ad. I have upgraded my stars from 4 to 5 to reward the addition of a far more useful website.PART OF OLD REVIEW NO LONGER RELEVANT: I wish they had the ability to order what I needed on the website and to pick it up. Internet shopping option -- research into pricing, availability and purchasing is non existent. This is unacceptable in 2020.

Clean place. Very friendly staff. Didnt have the small dog food bag that we needed but they had the larger bag available. The chicks were so cute! Cages kept clean and warm :) awesome place!

This is where I go to be free. First I go to the hardware aisle. This is where I apply velcro to my entire body. I then proceed to where they sell the baby animals. Once I have velcro as many baby chickens as will fit to my body I run outside and pretend to be big bird.
