My jogging stroller got a flat tire. I called the shop and they were able to fix it right away. Keith did a great job! Highly recommend this place!

I broke the crank on my bike. Took it to The Cycle Mill Bike Shop. They had one in stock. Gave me very reasonable quote to put on the new crank and tune the bike - ready next day. Very acceptable quote & turnaround. They called next day to say bike ready and a full tune-up not necessary. The bill was half the quote! Bike runs great!I also asked him to adjust the front disk break on my other bike. Did so for free on the spot.Excellent service!!

Ive had my road bike serviced by other LBSs in the area, and the great mechanics at Cycle Mill are hands-down the best! Shifting is superbly smooth, the bar tape is tight, the wheels are true, and overall it feels like a new bike at a fraction of the cost 😎🚴👍🏽

Went down to this store to look for parts for my bike. Not my first time at this store but felt like I was being watched as if I was there to steal. My wife was in the car waiting but decided to step out after a while with my kids but was told off that it was a private business parking and was not allowed to be there. This will be the last time I will ever step foot in that store. Very uninviting and unhelpful. Tried my best to support a lbs but this just made me turn towards race pace which is half a mile down from me.

Following a rear tube blowout I visited Cycle Mill. Another customer left the shop satisfied, so I was next in line for service. John expertly removed and replaced the rear tube. Very fast and very affordableVery satisfied. Would recommend.

The rear shifting cable to my bike snapped -- other local bike shops had backlogs of 3-4 weeks, but they were able to get my bike back to me within a week. They also recommended other repairs, and were helpful and honest in explaining the pros and cons of doing them. The price was very reasonable, and Im very happy with the work that was done on my bike - they know what theyre doing. Ill definitely be keeping this place in mind in the future!

I am so appreciative of your prompt service to fix my granddaughters bicycle when I brought it in this afternoon. Under trying circumstances (covid restrictions) which you followed by wearing a mask and moving business outside in 90+ heat, you fixed the issue within fifteen minutes and made a grandma and her granddaughter very happy. I went here for the first time because they were the only shop around that had the derailleur I wanted in stock. I was pleasantly surprised. The owner is really nice and the location is really convenient. I will go here again.

Hired dual suspension MTBs, they were amazing quality and looked theyd never been ridden before. Great guys, really helpful and up for a chat with a local beer afterwards. Would go back again for sure.

The bike shop guys are rude. They promised a time and date for me to pick up my bike for my tune up and never called once. When I called I found out the bike wasnt ready and they gave me an attitude for calling early. I called back when they told me to and it still wasnt ready and that it will be ready by closing time (they did not call me once to let me know). I told them to stop doing anymore because I will pick up my bike as is. 15 minutes into my drive there I got a text saying the bike is ready. The bike has a clean chain and clean gears but the rest of the bike looks untouched. They also said that the receipt says 5pm even though I have a copy of my receipt and it says 3pm. They blamed their frustrations on customers calling throughout the day asking about their bikes before the time due date on the receipt. Why are they mad people want to know the status of their bikes before they come to pick it up. People cant just leave their life whenever they want...they want to know so they can plan out their day..Never coming here again.

Super quick service, prices are very competitive and the staff was awesome to work with. I will do all of my bike business with the Cycle Mill moving forward.

Update: 10/04/2020. These guys built me a custom Devinci Hatchet gravel bike. I ordered a 2018 Frame through them and a SRAM Force 1 complete groupset. Whisky Parts cockpit and various bits and pieces. I also pillaged my old bike for a wheelset and crank. It ended up being a little more expensive than I hoped, but still cheaper than equivalent 1x complete bike from any manufacturer.Still, there is no replacement for a bike built for you. Your specs, your components. What you decided on, not the manufacturer selected average. The bike came out beatifully. They even washed my old bike wheelset and it looked fully detailed. I had about 5 rides since then, including a long 47 miler and the bike is awesome. Its 19 lbs flat. Smooth riding and just wants to go fast. Its also very comfortable. This bike is a gift to me for doing 100 miles ride and I cant wait to do 100 mile ride on this.

Went in and immediately was helped to find a bike pump and water bottle. The location is great and is in a very scenic neighborhood. Id definitely go back!

I took my husband’s bike for a tuneup and a new tire. The service was very fast (less than a week), and my husband was extremely pleased with the results! He will use this shop again. 😊

I thought the derailer on my daughters bike was shot, but Jeff looked at it and with a few tweaks and a new sprocket it was good as new in 15 minutes! Im so glad I called and gave them a try. This is now our new family bike shop!

Outstanding staff. I was on a bike trip with the kids when the tire on our trailer blew out. I didn’t have my wallet but they let me have a replacement tube until I could get the kids home and drive back and pay. This was a real lifesaver! Thanks guys.

I had heard that these guys were good mechanics, so I brought my custom Bruni for a rebuild. They did a fantastic job. If youve ever ridden tandems, you know that shifting on the stand is never shifting on the road. You always have to tweak a bit. Not this time. Perfect. They even waxed it.

They were super rude and condescending. Did the job but clearly have no interest in customer service.

The Cycle Mill staff is very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and honest. They give you the services that you need. This is a very good, hometown type of bike shop. For simple fixes, staff at times will fix on the spot. I trust Cycle Mill with my bikes.

Great service. Professional and prompt repairs. This shop will do what you ask and not try to up-sell. They never recommend unneeded repairs. Its the only shop I would recommend in the Columbia - Ellicott City area.

Did a good job truing some old steel wheels for me. Nice bicycle selection, better prices then Ive seen elsewhere. The people were friendly. Update:New levers, new gearing and brake cables, they grabbed the crank and found that my old bottom bracket was shot. They did a fine job getting everything swapped out & done, they got it done fast. Im glad the gentleman checked my bb, it did have excessive play in it.

They tuned up my old trek 520 which was in pretty bad shape. Now it rides like new! Very fair price. Great atmosphere. Thanks Nick and Chris!

They were very nice, patient and courteous.After being horribly treated at Race Pace of Ellicott City where they told me I need a new bike because my steel fork is out of alignment, we come to the Cycle Mill and without hesitation they realigned my fork.My 16 year old was shocked at the difference between the two places.

The owner helped by providing me with one of his shipping boxes for a bike. He did not want any payment even though I took at least a quarter of an hour of his time.Neat and clean; friendly and professional!

Horrible customer service. Long story. They failed to set the tire bead and overfilled causing explosive failure while I was riding. I fixed the bulging tube but it still blew. They acted like it was my fault. Total young ignorant jerks. Went to Catonsville Hub and older wiser guys treated us right. They lost a lifelong customer

Thought I might have to stop riding because I would get so much pain after riding. Ellen did an extremely thorough evaluation and fit for my bike. Already back on bike, riding better and pain free.

I ordered parts from hear extremely fast and very helpful had taken the time to explain helpful information and advice for a beginner biker i would recommend bying from here a little bit more expensive but you get the long lasting and quality parts/bikes
