I love to go to Walmart. My reason isnt just that the prices are good. When I go to Walmart, I can see many different cultures, many races, I can hear different languages around me. I love it because I love diversity. One day, I witnessed unacceptable behavior. One of the customers started to say bad words to the cashier. My heart broke because she had to follow the policy, she couldnt do anything. I bought a gift for the cashier and apologized because of the customers unacceptable behavior.Today, I faced the same problem. One of the pharmacy workers treated me the same way the customer treated the cashier. I was waiting in line patiently. Another customer asked about the opening time to the pharmacy worker. She (pharmacy worker) kindly responded to her. The customer said, Wow they will open at 4:00 pm today.I had to take my medicine before 4:00 pm because the nurse said if the medicine is taken after 4 pm, it will not help at all. I wanted to clarify the time with the pharmacy worker because I was planning on going to another pharmacy (even though my pharmacy is Walmart). I called, Maam and she didnt respond. She changed her done very disrespectfully for no reason and yelled at me saying Sit down on the chair and wait patiently.. (She may have had a bad day I can understand. But she must treat all customers the same way). I knew that when the shutters are closed, customers have to wait. But the pharmacy worker responded to the other customer nicely. I wondered about the womans name so I asked her colleague. He wrote her name but she started to yell at me again saying You are very impatient. Do not wait close to the window.“( I was there for 30 minutes and my husband was waiting in the car with surgery.) She scared her colleague and the man didnt give her name. He also ignored me.I had a conversation with the manager. He listened to me patiently and respectfully. He apologized because of the womans disrespectful attitude. Thank you Mr. Andrea. I went back to the pharmacy and the same worker was there, she must be a technician. This time, her tone was totally different and she had her badge turned upside down.(She was hiding her name.)I couldnt stop wondering so I asked, What did I do to you to deserve that type of behavior? Why has your tone changed to me?. She kept telling me, You are impatient, you cant talk to me if the shutters are closed.. However, it was not me to talk to her first. There was a person before me and she was very nice to her. I just called Maam and she blamed me for breaking the rules, calling me an impatient customer.I work with Dr. Monica Goldson( Interim Chief Executive Officer of Prince Georges County Public Schools)She always reminds us, Everyone is special and important. Peoples religion, nationality, skin color, appearance, etc. doesnt matter. We are people and we are strong only when we are together. I could not stand her behavior today. I should control my voice, but it was very painful for me.My friend had to deal with the same problem two weeks ago. The cashier (waiting outside the exit door and checking receipts) didnt check white Americans receipts, but she checked hers. It meant, I trust my citizen but not you.Be equal, please.Be fair.Be respectful.Be kind.Be accountable.Do not criticize people by their religion, appearance, color, or culture.Treat people the way you want to be treated.
I dont know what happened to the island lady but she was the best CS person Ive ever dealt with. She was always positive, asking people how they were doing, very kindly explaining prescriptions, etc. Just a very nice and outgoing lady. I hope shes okay.
The pharmacy does not even deserve one star. The service is horrible. They tell you something on call and say the opposite when you get there. They never have the prescription ready. Never going back!
The pharmacist is very knowledgeable. The staff works hard. BUT, THEY ALMOST NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE!! I tried to reach them for 2 days, but to no avail. I even tried entering the ‘prescriber’ code, but they didn’t answer my call then, either. Totally unacceptable. I’m on my way now to the store (Ellicott City) to speak with the store manager!
Wow, very rude. No customer service. Everytime I call I get put on hold for about 25-30 minutes, my RXs are never ready on time, and this time when I tried to explain that I had been on hold for a very long time, the pharmacist or whoever it was, was extremely nasty to me on the phone, almost yelling, and then put me on hold before I could even speak for myself. I understand we are in a global pandemic, but jeez lets keep the peace. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Ify and sue are the greatest and get it done for sure.
I find the service to be extraordinary, especially during COVID...The Pharmacists and staff, often over worked and short on help at times, have always been professional and friendly, even with the most trying client..
I tried to pick up a prescription at the Ellicott City Walmart today at 7pm. I did not realize that the pharmacy closed at 7pm today. So I drove from Towson to get to this pharmacy. I pulled up at Ridge Road and called the pharmacy at 6:58pm. I was literally 1 minute away. I told the tech that I would be pulling up in 1 minute and could I still pick the medication up. First she asked what type of medication was it and the asked the pharmacist and and the pharmacist said no. But it was 6:59. I had just pulled up and could have run in and been at the counter at 7pm on the dot. But she had said no at 6:59. I really do not think that is good customer service on their part as she could have pulled my daughter’s medication and all I had to do was pay for it. Customer service means taking that last minute customer. I would have been done by 7:01 or 7:02 at the latest. I am really dissatisfied with how this pharmacy handled this situation. I’ve been using this pharmacy for at least 4 years. I may take my business elsewhere because of this situation; somewhere where I can get it after 7pm on a Saturday. I even explained that my daughter needed this medicine. One minute would not have hurt them. Their customer service sucks!!
You always have to wait for 15-20 minutes before someone would give you your prescription. Pharmacist are great here, but the staff just doesnt know how to do their job.
Very inefficient people. Before pharmacy they need to learn how to talk to customers. Very rude people. Don’t deserve even one star.
Horrible. Staff tries to work hard but doesn’t understand time. They will keep saying 15-20 minutes for the next 2 hours
Always friendly, knowledge and timely. They will talk to you one on one about any pharmaceutical question or issue you may have.
A very horrible experience the guy at the pharmacy was being rude . I gave him the whole information and date of birth and he ask me the same question over again have you ever got medication from here i said yes then he told me to wait on the side i stood here more than 45 minutes very horrible customer service they dont treat there customer in a right way i wont recommend
Awful service. Prescriptions never ready on time.
Horrible Service, Always short on staff so the rest has to work even harder. Wait time can be tentative, you are told onetime but prescription prep may take longer. Sorry, but no sorry its true :/
I called and they first hang up on me . I forgave them and then they request to put me on hold and still took 6 minutes, I ended up the call . Incomplete service . I’m disappointing and unsatisfied
Typical pharmacy.
Terrible service...
I agree with reviews here about “worst customer service”. I just went through a terrible conversation with a pharmacist working here.
Great customer service
Awful Service!!
Worse customer service ever
Good!
