I love the set up, its nice but just hood enough to be able to do what you want. Unless you live on S Carolina where a man comes out all summer in his tighty whites and complains about the kids on the street.

I am liking their new home decor products.... If they could just get a tiny bit better quality I totally would shop there more! Im liking what Im seeing!

Limited items but still worth the trip.

I only went here a couple of times since there is the newest one in walking distance from my house on Cleveland St. I really liked their set up here and selection of items.

The employees always treat me like theyve known me for years! Very personable and pleasant. They always know where everything I need is at. Dollar General on Oberlin-Elyria Road in Elyria is the best and will always be my favorite.

Needed a plunger, behold they had one. N family dollar had closed before them so thats a plus there open later. Cant beat it lol

I buy pregnancy tests there and the lady who cashes me out most days is awesome. She shared her experience with trying to get pregnant and it made me feel better about my chances. The staff is always so friendly and personal.

A Sunday morning the place is closed because theyre too cheap to hire workers because the two workers that are there are unloading a truck.

Received a counterfeit $10 bill from the cashier returned it and she said its a guy that comes in all the time that spins 10 but I could you say that if you know who the person is and let him get away with it

Great customer service, amazing prices and a great selection of goods! They also have days where certain products are half off! The parking lot is accessible only from Oberlin Elyria Rd . They do have a large parking lot and they put clearance items in the front of the store!

So relieved that our Friendly store came back up to its standards. Great customer service and the store looked so clean organized and great sales and merchandise. Thank you to corporate office.

The prices werent unusually Fair I didnt expect that the staff was excellent they were able to help me find the things I needed quickly and I was in and out before I knew it I would definitely visit Dollar General again top drawer establishment thank you for letting me visit

Its a good general store has pretty,much anything you could need but,like it says its a general store you cant go there and get groceries like meat although they do hace breads and dairy products so like I said a good general store and great staff

Very easy to find things and the staff is very nice.

I dont like the location it needs to be on downtown Elyria Ohio on broad Street not on Oberlin road. But the one dollar items are wonderful.

***UPDATE*** Being that I work right next door, I spend hundreds of dollars a week here for my personal items as well as basic supplies for the business. This morning I walked in a 7:59 am and was greeted by the manager yelling at me about not being open yet. Complete disrespect. If you arent open yet, then why is the door unlocked???? Ill take my business across the street to family dollar. I generally get along well with this manager, but being talked down to like that is unacceptable to me.***Update: New manager deserves a few more stars. Most of my complaints have been addressed ***5 people in line and not a single employee to be found... why do I come here again????? This happens every time I come in here

Could really be a top tier store if there was ever anyone working there. Keep out of the maze of boxes towards the back of the place, people dont come back out. Who knew you could get fudge covered graham cracker cookies for a dollar? Just as good as Keebler, and you dont have to look at that surly elf grandpa. To have this many good at this low of a price, the General must be a real badass. $2.00 disposable razors, AND some of the cheapest car insurance in the state? Sign me up for his regiment and call me a patriot.

This was the most disgusting dollar general Ive ever been too. It was so messy you couldnt even find stuff. Literally products all over the aisle floors and everything. Purely lazy on staff and management. They clearly do not straighten the store nightly, Id even say weekly.
