Had the best experience at this location for years till I walked in today and ran into Tony who was very unfriendly made it sound that he was doing me a favor to even answer questions, asked me to Look at a phone somewhere else and come back and order one if I liked it.I’ve been a customer of AT&T for over twenty years with multiple accounts and I have never seen this kind of behavior before.Tony has ZERO people skills, send him for training maybe hell learn how to talk and behave with customers.I will buy new phones but not from him.

Truthfully, I’ve never been excited to go to the AT&T store - it always seems to take forever or they can’t meet my needs. This location is fantastic, I had a great experience the two times I went into this store. Nicholas helped me both times and was courteous and attentive.

There were only 2 people working in the store on a Sunday afternoon. There was a line of people waiting to be helped. When l finally got help with my phone, the man who helped me was nice and helpful but having only 2 people working in a cell phone store on a weekend afternoon seems like poor customer service that was planned ahead of time!

DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR PHONE WITH THIS STORE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED! I upgraded my phone two months ago at this store. I was working with the manager and he ended up adding a fake line to my account which was named HOT LINE. He also added insurance and hot spot premiums without my knowledge. I have been working for 2 months with AT&T to get credited for the continual bill I am receiving for this fraudulent line. I will NEVER do business at his AT&T Store again!

Chadd, the manager of the A T and T store in Carlsbadprovided me and my husband with excellent customer service this evening. He is professional and knowledgeable. We arrived quite late and I needed a working phone . Chadd made excellent suggestions and carefully and politely explained our different options. He was very diligent and patient with the process of transferring my data from my old unworkable phone to the new one. When we left Chadd made sure that my new phone was working perfectly with all my data. Chadd is the best professionally and a very fine individual of excellent character. Thank you so much. Linda

Would not recommend going to this location at all. I worked with Alex and he told me a lie straight to my face that I was not able to trade in my phone unless I upgraded to a new plan, just pushing the pitch to get their sales up. This was completely untrue and I went to a different AT&T and was able to trade in my device and upgrade my phone with no issues. They are dishonest and most definitely do not have the customers best interests in mind.

I was really dreading my visit to AT&T to replace my lost phone but my experience with Miguel D at the Encinitas location was far from what I had expected. I walked in incredibly frustrated and stressed and he immediately calmed my nerves by walking me through the insurance claim and ultimately helped me upgrade my phone at a fraction of the cost. He was friendly, attentive and empathetic toward my situation. I’m leaving this store happy and excited about my new phone which is a pleasant surprise.

The last thing I ever want to do is step into a phone store, let alone return back to one. I was able to avoid it for 2+ years but it was time I needed a new phone and possibly a new service. Since I happen to be near the store one day I popped in and was able to see an associate within 5 min. Charlie was great at listening to what I wanted and recommended what he thought would benefit me without being pushy. Since I didnt have all I needed that day and still wanted to vet other providers I didnt return until 3 weeks later. Within that time I researched other providers that were offering similar services to what I needed but ultimately I felt most comfortable returning to AT&T because of the associate who helped me. I couldnt be happier with my new service, phone, but most of all for the experience. A big thanks to Charlie for being kind, patient, knowledgeable, and an overall great person to work with! Definitely recommending this store to anyone inquiring about a new service or phone.

I just finished a transaction at the AT&T store in Encinitas. It was the most satisfying experience I’ve ever had shopping for electronics. Brandon, the salesman who assisted me was knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to work with. He not only took care of some issues I was having with my phone and IPad, he also sold me a new phone, screen protector and wireless charger. To top things off he convinced me to subscribe too AT&T’s streaming service. I have nothing but high praise for this store and particularly for Brandon. I will sing his praises to everyone! (The manager, Chadd, was also a top notch individual.)

Went in today to see about an iphone upgrade and was asisted by Emily B. Could not be happier with the service, professionalism, and technical help in choosing and setting up a new phone, Was not pressured for time or unneeded services or products and all functions were tested and worked great. Got the newest model phone and an otterbox case at a good price and both were in stock! If you have a choice, ask for Emily!

So this store has an absolutely great staff. Ruben, Chad and Asif were totally awesome. My wife just got an iPhone XR a month ago and it took 10 minutes. I got an iPhone SE today and it took 10 minutes. Then I went for the switch from Spectrum to the ATT bundle. The sales people at the store were very good. And then it took me 2 hours to get approved by ATT security. I had to answer the security questions 3 times. Ruben, the salesperson had to enter the data three times and then sit there on hold for a total of 45 minutes between people that are either clueless or not being managed properly.As a retired VP of Sales and Marketing, I understand how hard it is to do a conquest for sale. Your retail people did a very admirable job of this only for your inept security process that tried everything they could do to lose the sale and screw it up. I understand being secure. I don’t understand people on the other end of your front line people making it as hard as it can be keeping your sales people on hold and no communication with me or them.I’ve been an ATT phone customer for 30 years and yet they apparently couldn’t cross reference the fact that I have an 800 credit score and have paid every bill on time. You would have thought that I was an alien. If you want to further your business, ask your team members I mentioned above what the process was like for me. They did their job and get paid accordingly. And they were frustrated as I was. Your approval team tried everything they could do to drive away the business. In the long process you were now better than Spectrum, not customer friendly but cheaper.If you want to support your sales team and increase sales then get the rest of the team on board, because as much as your sales team could read the room and could see what was obvious your security team was totally clueless.I took the time to give you input to see if you can effectively change to make sure no one goes through what I did today, a person that just wanted to buy your product. Super long wait, all the idiots being helped must have had no idea what they wanted and didnt seem to care about making others wait over an hour, the universe doesnt revolve around you people! But once I was finally helped the woman who helped me (Branisha I think) was very nice and helpful. I was out 15 minutes later, one woman was still being helped when I left 1.5 hours after I arrived. Not the stores fault but God damn!

Friendly staff but the store is almost always slammed with long wait times. I typically only set foot in a store when I absolutely have to, and then its usually either some equipment I need today or because self service/first tier support didnt work. The staff do their best to consider the nature of your request when queuing you, but this doesnt always help much, especially during the holidays when people with new phones come in for assistance.

My wife and I went there to pick up 3 I-phones for her business. The manager is a sleaze ball, he gave us a new kid that didnt know what he was doing but I was fine with it. After two hours, which is now around 9pm close to their closing time. The manager then moved in and switched from business to a personal account so they can charge us additional fees for activation etc..,. They didnt transfer our data or our contacts and the worse part is only 1 phone worked. They then pushed us by saying everything is in there and get us out by 10pm. So we had to go to another AT&T the next day to get everything that should have been done by them. Later we needed to add a couple phones for her associates and went to Mira Mesa AT&T and when the associate helped her by adding new phones, that was when we found out that they had blatantly put extra charges and made the account her personal account rather than her business account. What an a&&h0le manager. Stay away from this place. I thought I gave them benefit of the doubt by these reviews, but these reviews are spot on. I wished I can give them a negative 5star.

Never go into this store, the rudest people i have ever met. seriously screw these people i needed to resolve an issue with my phone after i had just been to the apple store. the apple store had told me they couldnt do anything about it but that at&t would, walked in the at&t store and she looked me in the eye and told me my problem wasnt even possible. they have no clue what they are doing. if you just need to walk in and buy and phone and sign up for a ridiculous monthly bill i am sure they will be happy to help but if you have an issue or a problem that needs to be resolved dont even try here.

I am already dreading a visit there tomorrow. I went there 3 times today to buy the simplest of phones and it was a 50 minute wait each time. It makes no sense to me:: they enlarge the store, seem to have more employees, the wait is always 45 minutes or more, yet they changed their opening time from 9:00 to 10:00. Does that even make sense.? Im sorry with a smile must be in their employee handbook in dozens of places, yet there is never any resolution to the multiple things the reception guy apologizes for.....quite the opposite. I will make an appointment for tomorrow for when they first open and hope for the best. I only hope they shelve the sales talk of bundling when all I want is a simple phone. NOTE:: I made the appt. and only had to wait for 15 minutes and it took 30 minutes for the transaction. Not bad at all, and no mention of bundling! Just expect a longer wait if you have not made an appt. (those go to the top of the list) and realize that what seems should only take a quick visit will take at least an hour or more. The employee who helped me explained that their new store design allows for more locations to assist more customers because so many transactions can take 2 or 3 hours! Still can not figure out why so long.

I have been there many times. The customer service at first is perfect, but then, after you wait for a representative to take care of you, he/she does not listen, they always know better and they are never sure of anything, I think so, I am not 100% sure, but I am almost positive, maybe, but I cant really tell you. Well, if I am going to switch phones or get a new plan I want to be sure what I get. I literally wanted to buy a new phone today and get a contract with them (now I am pay as you go) and I couldnt cause he didnt know anything, as usual in this store, and now I will definitely switch to another provider. He didnt offer me to try a phone or talked to me about any features or great stuff, ANYTHING! I walked out of the store very confused and he didnt even care! Good job Miguel!

I have for the past 2 months been battling with AT&T stores AT&T service AT&T corporate I have finally been escalated to AT&T executive for an issue with a phone a phone that came with no headphones etc etc etc. If I was in AT&T employee and was being paid by an hourly rate AT&T would owe me thousands and thousands of dollars in PayPal but Im not Im just a customer that Ive come to the conclusion they could care less about I have been dealing with 3 way calls between Samsung and AT&T and back-and-forth and Im not getting not one sense of customer service with anyone including AT&T and Samsung I will tell you this right now avoid the Samsung Galaxy note 9 Samsung has already disclosed to me personally that they know theres a problem with this phone and theres an update coming out by the end of next month so avoid that phone with all Youre might. Lets just a hope it dont turn into the S7 problem that they had. I will tell you this the actual cellular service that AT&T does have is pretty much with the competition out there 2nd to none their customer service customer loyalty and customer satisfaction as far as me as a customer is horrible I have been talking to executive but thats how far up this corporate ladder I had Klein and order to get any results and the problem is still not resolved they want me to take my time my money and my due diligence to handle their issue this is unacceptable behavior as a for almost tie million dollar corporation to behave both Samsung and AT&T I cant believe over a defective note 9 and at Samsung Galaxy SA active that didnt come with headphones on samsungs website it shows that they do to me thats to legal words bait and switch and non disclosure they didnt let me know on pon the purchase of that product that it wasnt gonna come with headphones and Samsung also baited me with all the extras that this phone was supposedly come with and then not provide all the products that it was supposed come with to legal words again bait and switch and non disclosure which as far as advertising is concern thats false advertising and corrupt corporation both AT&T and Samsung and no customer service whatsoever

Update, 4/17/14I went in for a micro cell today and asked if they had one, they told me yes over the phone and when I got there the only available one had already been registered to someone else. This had happened prior to my call, really wish they could figure out inventory, and that Tmo had better coverage so I could feel comfortable switchingI called in and asked if they had the 16 GB iPhone 5s for my dad so I could upgrade his older phone. On the telephone they said they had it in two colors. When I got to the shop 15 minutes later they didnt have any 16GB iPhones.I understand that they are unable to hold things for me, however they shouldve told me that there was limited supply so I could have called another store instead of wasting an hour of my time (30 minutes of driving + 30 minutes of consultation to be told that there were no iPhone5s in stock.)

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Went to get my son a new phone and they told me that day they were giving away FREE I Pads. I took it even though I really didnt need it. They somehow wrote it into my contract without consenting me, and now I am paying full retail price for it in addition to a line they added to it! I am still over one year later making payments close to $180 per month on this IPAD. When I tried to speak to the manager, he very rudely told me that since I had signed the contract there was nothing he could do. I was so disgusted.

I will note that I knew exactly what phone I wanted before I went in. I walked in, was seated for about 10 minutes and from there the process was started to get my samsung s7 active. My experience was fantastic. I owe this experience all to an employee named Nica. She was smart, calm and collective. We had great conversation throughout the process. She did not try to push any extra purchases on me and answered all my absurd questions. Ive never had a pleasant experience in a phone store and will recommend this store solely because of that one employee. Thanks Nica.

The staff are rude, and more often than not, more staff are standing around not helping people while customers sit staring at them while they are talking to each other. Its the rude part that I cant understand though, its just laughable that we continue to pay for service that treats customers this way..

Inept staff (Leonardo and manager James)... the only tools they have is saying, Im sorry over and over. As a Qualcomm employee that owns a plethora of devices and typically go to the Vista Way store or the San Marcos store (top notch if you request the expert on what you want if the person helping you isnt cutting it.) - Im used to being treated very well at these stores.It was my daughters birthday and she wanted an iPhone 5c - Pink, 32gb... AT&T online showed it being only available at the Leucadia store... which most rating sites showed about a 2 star rating... I thought it cant be that bad. Went in, they took my name, kept asking me if I was Richard then other names, the realized they wrote my name down wrong. I showed them an online price, they argued this as being legitimate, then said that was online only but if I could order and do in store pickup then would be ok... then proceeded to work with me to order online as it showed Find in Store... ordered it under the wrong account and line, the wrong phone... the list goes on, then proceeded to tell me they couldnt do anything from that point I would have to wait several weeks for it to arrive... my daughter wasnt happy, I wasnt happy they just kept saying, Im sorry, Im sorry Seriously... useless... no thoughts at all to fix the situation, no real communication... dumb.I went up to the Vista way store where they fixed all my problems and I got the phone I wanted. They handled cancellation of the order and also offered a trade in on my daughters old 3gs which I took. NONE of this was even mentioned at the Leucadia store, just, Im sorry.They might be a good sales engineer at Leucadia I dunno, I got Leo and James - HORRID, stupid, bad customer service. Im not usually so mean but these guys deserve it... way to make a happy birthday guys... it was a simple transaction but you couldnt communicate. Maddening!

They have a manager there that lied to me-- oh youre uverse bill is going up, you should get ATT digital life to keep the Uverse bill down so like a sucker I signed up for it- now im stuck w/ this security system that I have to pay a separate bill for AND the Uverse bill still increased $100 more. She lied to me. Im going to that store to complain to her- this is all her fault. If I wanted to cancel the digital life- Id have to pay $660 for price of equipment.

We went in to buy 2 new Samsung S-5s and two tablets. After 4 hours, yes 4 hours, they got our phone purchase finished and then told us the tablets were not of stock and it would take two days to get them. Guess what happened on day 3? No tablets and no explanation. Just a simple, Well call you when they come in. Really,... several thousand dollars in business and they showed themselves as nothing but salesmen that will say ANYTHING. They get one star for being great at fooling us for four hours and more. Monopolies are all the same. Four choices for service is not enough to weed out bad service when they all use the same play book.

My iphone keeps dropping my calls in my house and it is a recurring problem which ATT doesnt seem to care and I had several other issues that needed help.....the rep that helped ~Jojan wasnt interested in helping at all.....especially when he found I wasnt upgrading to a more expensive plan.....he spoke to me in a very degrading way.....as I already said..... like I TOLD you.......IF you want help, dont go in this store....they are rude, make you wait 45 min. while employees stand around talking to each other and at the very least, they could be courteous.....no matter what they think of questions one has......well, ATT .....youre losing another customer!!!

Manager was rude rude rude... and the employees were time wasters... they kept pretending to be trying to fix our problem but they kept us there for hour and a half to tell us the same thing they told us when we came in.... my origional phone 2 months old didnt work and the replacement didnt even start up and both had to be sent off and I wouldnt get a replacement until they were both processed through at&t because my replacement needed a replacement. Terrible customer service everywhere!

I went in to try the Samsung Captivate, gave it a try then tried to get a sales associate to help me. They added my name to a list of people to be helped, then i waited. After 5 mins someone else walked in and was helped right away, i waited another 10 mins then left. Bought the phone online in the end, so thanks for letting me try it out, but you should have tried to serve me!

What a waste!!!!. My wife is the account manger on our account, despite me being on the bill due to a corporate discount. Apparently, the store is different than online (they said). I may just go to Verizon. Forget calling the store
