I had Michelle help me with porting my phone from T-Mobile to Metro. A problem came up that took my original plan for a turn but she sorted it out rather quickly using every option she could even when I gave up on a few of them. In the end, I was very happy with the results.

Karen Is Awesome..... She Knows Phones Very Well....Always Top Notch Customer Service. Best Metro Store And WORTH THE EXTRA DRIVE EVEN WITH GAS PRICES NOWADAYS..... CRAZY GAS COMPANIES.BUT REMEMBER THIS WAS ABOUT KAREN AND HOW GREAT SHE IS. HAPPY EXPERIENCE FINALLY. SOME STORES ARE REALLY RAN POORLY BUT NOT WITH KARENS STORE IT TOP NOTCH AND RIGHT NEXT TO A MEXICAN BUTCHER SHOP THATS REAL GOOD MARINATED MEATS. Every single time I go by to pay my bill I experience a different problem. Today no one is answering the phone. Once I had a problem with having to reboot my phone about twenty times a day to make it work, and they told me to buy a new phone. All they care about is new customers/selling phones and triple normal price accessories, so dont be surprised when you have to wait twenty minutes to pay your bill, because there is always someone ahead of you in line getting a new phone (I wonder why...). Of course you will be charged $3 for the privilege of paying your bill. Thats normal right? Im stupid and dont know. At least thats the feeling you get from the employees who are the rudest employees I have ever experienced. It doesnt matter which branch you go to, its the same experience wherever you go. Did I say employees? I meant employee. Every branch only has one employee, which is why you wait 20 min for the privilege of paying to pay. They really must have some kind of program where they hire ex-cons or violent felons for half normal wages or something. One time they couldnt make change for the two twentys I was trying to pay my bill with. I received nothing but condescension and rudeness from them. Apparently they pay their employees with seashells or walnuts there because she refused to make change for me or cover it out of her pocket til the store had proper change. I had to go to another store and buy something to get the change to go back and wait another 20 minutes AGAIN to pay my bill. It took almost an hour to pay my bill, and disrupted my whole day, costing me a lot of extra money, as it created a domino effect on the events that followed. This review applies to every branch Ive been to, not just the Encinitas store, which is actually one of the better ones. This branch is mostly just long waits and closing 15 minutes early, but hey, you can just come back tomorrow right? Its not like you NEED to have a phone to work and pay bills or anything. Just tell your landlord/clients that they closed early so your phone got shut off. I get the best service and the biggest smiles whenever i get a new phone. Hmmm...I literally have at least five more unique stories I could go into but it has taken me 25 minutes already to poke in this review with my fish stick fingers

So far so good. I pay my bill online because so I only had to deal with the store once. It was kinda janky 3rd rate free phines or slightly better 2nd rate phones for like $50-100. I brought my own. The employees were pretty nice to me. For phone store people they were very good. I waited maybe 15-20 mins but then someone set me right up. So far cheaper and same a tmobile. Sold.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!!!!My girlfriend went in a few weeks ago to get a new phone, she wanted the LG Stylo 3 but they claimed to not have them in stock. Then we inquired about the Note5 that was on the shelf, and they said that it wasnt in stock... even though it was right there!So she decided on the ZTE Blade Max because the customer service rep recommended it, saying they never break. All seems well for about 5 minutes, until my girlfriend realizes they swapped the wrong number to her phone and put her dads on it. So another 30 minutes wasted fixing both of those lines. The lady made it clear that all sales were final, this point is important!Over the course of the next two weeks, she contacted ZTE and Metro over a dozen times each trying to get her texting to work properly, and to get her video calling working at all. She was also dropping calls, not getting calls or texts and getting texts very late. No one could figure it out until she actived another SIM card and some things started working. But the phone continued to drop service. ZTE told her the phone was defective and MetroPCS told my girlfriend to bring in the phone and exchange it.She assumed they were making an exception for her, because as stated above, she was told there was no return policy. Come to find out, we could have gone back the next day when all the problems started because they had a SEVEN DAY RETURN POLICY. But here we are at 3 weeks, and they refused to exchange the phone, despite the MetroPCS and ZTE support centers both deeming the phone defective and advising an exchange.To top it off, the girl there was absolutely rude. It was obvious she didnt like her job. She put minimal effort into doing anything with the phone. She spent most of our initial time there on her iPhone texting someone.My advice? If you really want to use MetroPCSs service, stay far FAR away from this store. Its a wonder they arent out of business!

The best subway store in this area. The girls are beautiful. They are very good at selling and they know what they are talking about when they say something. look for crystal, it will give you the best offer. I will return with any problems I have.
