Staff are always super friendly and excellent at greetings.We came Halloween morning and service was fast and drinks were delish.Lots of great people that frequent there. We met lots of friendly pets and gracious happy customers while waiting for our drinks.They have excellent avocado toast and açaí bowls I’ve had in previous trips.Highly recommend!

A staple in downtown Encinitas. Great coffee and Teas. Yummy pastries and light faire. Go early, they get lines, but it’s well worth the wait! Personal favs- Iced Green Tea, Green Tea Macha, and Conscious Chocolate Smoothie.

I wish I had a better review but this was disappointing. The avocado toast had zero flavor, overpriced, and the staff wasn’t super friendly. Their coffee was okay but it’s overpriced. Can find a way better alternative elsewhere.

The coffee is actually better and you will get a Buzz. Could work on their service a bit. Very frustrating to order a regular coffee and get bumped for 20 minutes by a wave of Frappuccino/mocha latte orders.

First time at this location. Love the open set up and decor. Employees were awesome! Great customer service! Coffee and sandwich were delicious. The downside was about 20 kids running around making a LOT of noise. I dont know how people were studying and working with all the craziness going on. I prefer a calm, relaxing, and inviting coffee shop. A place where you can chat with a friend and actually hear them. This one was too busy for me. Ill stick to the San Marcos location. 🙂

I highly recommend coming here for breakfast/lunch or just a quick stop in for coffee. Everyone that works here or is a customer is very friendly and has a great community vibe. The food is delicious and coffee is unique. Only complaint is that you will have to wait for a table since it’s busy! The windows open up in good weather to add more fresh air and is close to great shopping as well.

I picked up the frozen coconut coffee drink and it was not good. For one the coffee blend was separating from the ice. The other is it was super sweet so it makes me wonder if it was a coconut syrup and not actually coconut. I paid to much money for syrup.

A nice place to come and sit, study, hang out with family/friends. The coffee is good, I recommend trying the Best Drink Ever iced, its delicious. Love the atmosphere here and the airy windows. Good coffee shop for North County San Diego!

Atmosphere makes up for the MEDIOCRE Quality of the drinks. I ordered something on the menu called The Best Drink Ever- described as an Americano with creamy Vanilla. Sounded succulent. Looked like beige paint and TASTED LIKE A BAD VANILLA LATTE. I couldnt even taste the coffee. I order Americano all the time - I have tried every coffee house out there. What a disappointment this was- I was expecting better Quality*.

Great vibe and coffee. Theyve got some handcrafted coffees if you want something more unique. There are also acai bowls you can get for a nice refreshing breakfast.

This place definitely has the vibe down, but the actual product and service didnt impress me more too much. Iced coffee base was just right, but the rest of the additions were too sweet each time I visited. (Theyre probably just catering to the passersby who are accustomed to Starbucks frappuccinos, though, so you cant blame them.) Its always busy when I go by, so I cant imagine getting much work done, though you can consistently find people old and young working on their laptops here.

We spent a few days in Encinitas and stopped in before our drive home. The line was out the door. The place is lively and upbeat. Oh, the coffee, amazing. I had the Killer Bee with steamed coconut milk. Fantastic. Don’t go to the local Starbucks. The WiFi is “spotty! Better Buzz is the place to get coffee and a healthy bite to eat!

I’ve been a loyal customer of the BetterBuzz for 2 years, however got into a very disappointing situation in Encinitas and probably won’t get back there any more. After waiting for 15 mins ( if not more) in line for a fav drink we’ve got a wrong drink, asked for another one which took them another more then 10 mins to make (of course we were not happy to wait for so long). I asked when will the drink be ready and their barista (or manager, not sure) just brought my drink and said really rough, literally kicked us out saying “here is your drink, you guys can go now”. Very disappointing.

Definitely enjoy their Cold Brew! Enjoyed it so much I didnt know i drank it all within afew minutes ha!

Good, not great. Ordered a cappuccino and was asked, “what size, 12, 16, or 20oz”? Great seating setup for laptop use. Popularity with students and remote laptop users makes free WiFi unstable (time to upgrade Better Buzz 🙃). Staff is friendly even if undertrained/green. No vegan food options even though it’s in the heart of Encinitas.

Stop here every time I go back to Los Angeles from San Diego. Great crowd, great coffee

I loves me some Better Buzz. We decided to stop by this one while on our way up the 5. I ordered the house blend coffee but they didnt have regular white sugar or sugar in the raw. So my coffee was less than desirable this morning. I wont be going back to the Encinitas location for that reason. Otherwise, the avocado toast was delightful and the customer service was amazing.

I facilitate a LGBTQ+ Young Adult Coffee Social once a month, and for Marchs Coffee Social, we decided to meet at Better Buzz. It was such a success!! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provided a safe space for our participants. It was lovely!! The coffee and other drinks were delicious as well!

I discovered Better Buzz when they only had small drive thru kiosks. And I fell in love with their full balanced with hint if fruit and nuts coffee bean roasts. For a cortado or cappuccino, you can pick 2 roasts and create your perfect blend!Of all their locations, Encinitas has the most awesome vibe and open interior. Never wait too long for your coffee and the quality is always super consistent. A nice and better alternative to Starbucks for sure 😄Also it has community tables for students or work from home folks. Fair prices as well.

Busy spot with creative flavors but also solid basics.

Used to be a favorite spot. The poached eggs were hard boiled and watery, the latte tasted like it had cheap vanilla creamer in it, and they gave my son almond milk instead of regular milk. The staff seemed flustered and frustrated with orders, too.

I always order a large iced best drink ever. Lately, taste of the coffee has been very inconsistent. Sometimes, it is very flavorful & excellent but most of the time its really watery.

Was referred here by a friend who raved about it. The drinks were good but not special really. Wouldnt end up going back because the guy taking our order did not know anything about the menu or how to ring up our drinks. It was like pulling teeth. Feel like if Im spending $6/coffee total $20 for 3 after tax I shouldnt be the one trying to walk them through the ordering process.

Caprese sandwich is one of the best around and their coffee and cappuccinos are better than all of the other chains. Java Hut down the street is the best coffee in encinitas and local too but you can’t go wrong with better buzz.

Person that has to hand it to you.Had the food and coffee right in front of me but the 3rd person in the process wanted to wait till they were ready? Idk weird, like I could grab it and they moved it half way to me but not full? Odd process, guess I dont get it.Nm my wife explained it, they dont want people eating or drinking waiting for their food and post parties dont have two people.

Very bad Covid set up. They have so much space and could’ve done a much better job. I ordered drinks online to do “online pickup” there are about 5 other people here waiting. It said mine would be ready 10 mins ago. Drink is okay, very sweet. Not worth the experience.

Best Drink Ever. No really, that is the name of their Vanilla Latte and it is quite good! The bacon ciabatta breakfast sandwich is top notch as well. These guys are a local San Diego company, help support local!

Their Matcha Latte with Orange Infusion is no joke. It was delicious and had the caffeine I needed for my trip. It was on the sweet side, but it was a pleasant surprise for a Saturday.

Paradise bars are my favorite as I have celiac and these are gluten free. Only place I know with really delicious gluten free treats. ( Just wish I could get them delivered to home with my coffee beabs) Coffee is sooooo good. I even order bags of beans for home use. My favorite coffee ever.

The muffins were amazing. The coconut drink thrilled everyone.

They have a nice big bucket for CASH tips up front but for some reason refuse CASH as payment. Wondering why it was not posted and made clear before entering much like the MASK signs? Their excuse was a county ordinance even though most all places in that area accept cash at the moment. Very confusing, feel bad for the next person that just wants to pay for their coffee and leave.

Love this trendy coffee shop I got the rose water latte and it was not for me. They happily made me something different and the vanilla latte I ordered was sweet and delicious. The Acai bowl is a tasteful treat!

I spent $10 on two coffees and then they gave me a cold one and when I asked them to either heat it up or give me a new one they refused to do it. Incompetent and terrible customer service. will never go again.
