This place lies to their Customer…Their “prime” is actually choice. If you look at it you can tell; but, I worked there for 2 days, so I know.They are liars and they tried to make ME lie too.They also have two selections for Salmon; but don’t be fooled…both are EXACTLY THE SAMEDon’t EVER buy their kabobs. They’re just old spoiled chunks of meat that went bad, but then they roll it in more marinade to cover up the green color.The walk in refrigerator is full of blood and disgusting mold. The manager John has sold his soul for a paycheck.I told them to go to h. e. double hockey stick; because if you can’t quit your job, you have ZERO room for negotiation.I feel bad for all the seniors they take advantage of. Old ladies from RSF who don’t know any better. This place should have went out of business YEARS AGO.

Small grocery store with a great selection of high quality meats. Produce is limited. Good wine selection. Everything is pretty pricey though. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Picked up the grilled tri-tip for supper today. Tender, delicious, perfectly cooked. ❤️

Excellent shop for us Europeans as we feel very much at home with very good selection of variety of high quality of different products that makes us happy, and of course the service is fast, therefore all together is excellent. Starving and on my way from Encinitas to Escondido, I decided to stop and have fresh food instead of fast food. It was later in the evening, close to their closing so I didn’t expect they’d want to go to much trouble.... but instead the sweetheart guy behind the counter John “A”, made me the best tasting, thinly sliced and juicy, roast beef sandwich on a fresh roll served up with fresh homemade chips and a pickle, the size that could possibly feed two, if but oh no....YEP, I ate it all in one sitting!This is definitely a beautiful area, very near Rancho Santa Fe, and this market is small, but carry’s items you won’t find at Vons! Their deli has a huge variety of cooked foods if you want homemade taste without the hassle, and the Boars Head meat counter is mouth watering! So glad I stopped, andI’ll definitely be back!

It is great to go into a market where everyone knows you name. That was what life was like before the tradeoff of price for service left us searching isles for help. For my money and they do get my money, Harvest Ranch Market is a shop where you feel good walking in. It is a friendly experience and you can find almost anything you are looking for. Get to know the manager John Barbat and the staff in the deli and meat/fish counter and you will get their picks for the day (although the meatballs and enchiladas are always worth the trip).During Covid-19 every extra service has been happily offered including shopping and delivery to the trunk of your car when you pull up. It all adds to the value of being a loyal customer and enjoying the environment of the Mom and Pops that once lined Americas main streets. So, with thanks to John for keeping me safe (and always finding enough TP). I recommend that you enjoy your experience at Harvest Ranch and keep a local treasure prosperous.

Go to spot for high quality meats. Very tasty. Regular grocery items are a bit pricy but, they are convenient helpful and fast.

This is a market, not a SUPERmarket. If you need towels and laundry detergent, go elsewhere. Great selection of liquor and wine. Fresh produce and excellent guacamole. Staff is friendly.
