Looks great on the outside and enticing- sounding menu items; LOVE that vegan items take main focus here. Wifi access was posted clearly on the outside entrance, a good sign for ethical eating and some productivity. I ordered the Do Good Things smoothie, was told after paying that they were out of an ingredient. Not a good-tasting smoothie, sadly. Wifi didnt work; I asked for the password and was told wifi hadnt worked in months...!? This was the main reason I found parking and brought my laptop in after doing some research re: Eve; to try a new local place which is vegan and get some things taken care of on the computer. Had to take my hot item, Avo Basil Flatbread pizza (vegan) to go due to no wifi (*smelled and looked very good!) and the smoothie was truly not flavorful (but perhaps healthy?). Staff didnt seem too enthused about being there, but were very polite and seemed to be doing their best on a not very crowded Sunday afternoon. I had high hopes for Eve. Theres definitely potential. The party next to me had watermelon lemonade which looked amazing! May be worth another try.

Wow! Such good food and huge portions for great prices. Split 2 meals with my boyfriend and they were more than enough to fill us both up. The flavors are incredible and the presentation is quite nice as well. We will definitely be coming back for more. The place is quite nice and I can’t wait to eat there again once they reopen for dine in.

I want nothing more out of my dining experience.The food is just phenomenal. So much flavor and huge portions. Everything is extremely fresh and delicious. The burger I had has to be eaten with silverware but I wouldnt have wanted it any other way. Everything on the plate was so delicious I wanted to scrape up the sauce on my fork even. I was full half way through but there was no way I was going to let the food sit till later it was so good I had to enjoy it all in its ultra fresh glory. 😍😍😍😍😍The desert was just as good as Everything else. Always an Amazing Vegan Experience!This is high class vegan cuisine done right. Creative menu items, friendly staff, chill atmosphere and consistently delicious food.Must try: any of their flatbreads (made with gluten-free cauliflower crusts), the Chop Chop salad (with epic seitan pepperoni), and pretty much any of their Buddha bowls. The desserts are not to be missed either.

The Best of Carlsbad. The tastes were greatly satisfying. The flavors were exciting. All the nutritional benefits of a smoothie with the smoothest moves; exquisite layers, sensational anticipation, and visual appetite. Worth it. We couldnt finish the burritos, the flatbread, and our to-go tacos but we packed up everything and still wanted to walk out with more for later. --filled!!

Just found this place while visiting the area, and we absolutely love it! We visited twice in the past week. The flavors and spices are to die for! I recommend the Hawaii 5-O burger, and the mushroom pasta. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and wonderful service. Walk to the back for the best seating!!

Such a great little vegan restaurant in Encinitas. Ive done lunch there and breakfast and both are good. The first time I went there I didnt realize that there was really cool seating in the back. The coffee was super good and the meal was really tasty. There were four of us and we were all really surprised at how reasonably priced the meals were. Everytime Im in this town, I will make sure to stop in for something to eat. Great spot in a really cool surf town!

First I must say the staff was friendly, the atmosphere was beautiful. However the food was not good. I got the sunchoke flat bread, the solar power smoothie and my girlfriend got the mushroom pasta. The flatbread was bland, the texture was like a stale microwaved muffin, the smoothie was not sweet, and my girlfriends pasta had a small pond of oil at the bottom. Were both vegans and we have tried a lot of vegan restaurants. This one served us the worst tasting food weve had. I wouldnt call myself picky nor my girlfriend. Weve never left a negative review before. I amleaving this here for the owners in hopes that they will try to make their food taste better because we want more vegan restaurants to open up and we want them to be successful. I hope you take this review seriously and make changes.

I really dug the vibe at Eve Encinitas. Its a nice environment, a chill place to hang out. Heres a photo of the cool booth in which my sister and I ate our lunch. The menu is chock-full of healthy goodies, and the staff was really friendly and attentive. The food was tasty. Alas, both my sister and I had tummy troubles right after we left and cr@pped our brains out. Three stars!

Showing a wide range of options, the vegan aspect is a secondary thought while at EVE. My wife and I visited here for a nice evening dinner with our pup (allowed in the back room). The waitress did take her time and there are no alcoholic options for drinks. For dinner we went big and shred 3 entrees: Jackfruit Tacos, Beyond Meat Burger and a margarita pizza. The burger was fantastic. The tacos were pretty tasty and the pizza has seen better days, in my personal option as being a non-vegan. We will likely return to see what’s for breakfast and dinner, certainly room for potential!

Fresh simple good food. Smoothies are very expensive though (burger is same price as a smoothie). Staff could be a bit more attentive, didn’t ask if we wanted any dessert just got the bill and that’s it. And perhaps for some people it’s good to know that they don’t serve alcohol.

The only salad they had was chopped and it was not even chopped, I found at least three full leaves of kale. It just very hard to eat. I did not like the salami, had to pick it all out and without it tasted very good I thought. My husband’s burrito was tasty but too big, falling apart and messy. I wish the food was executed better.

I WOULD give Eve 5/5 starts if it wasn’t for the grumpy lady that has been working at the front counter both times I’ve been here. It’s always interesting when you go somewhere and the employee makes you feel like your burdening them by being there. Unfortunately this employee alone takes away a bit from the whole experience with her negative and rude attitude...you’ll know who I’m talking about if you encounter her. But other than that the food here is really incredible! Happy to have an amazing vegan restaurant in the neighborhood.

I want to start this post by saying Im not vegan but this place was so delicious and so interesting!My vegan friends were jealous that I went here. Sadly the salad I had ordered was supposed to come with pears but they were all out so I had butternut squash instead. Still very tastey. My friend had one of their flat breads and said it was awesome.Loved all the plants and decor. Staff were super happy and friendly as well. If Im in the area Id definitely return.

Went on a Saturday for lunch. Had to wait in a small line to order, but the line moved quickly and we still found a table immediately. I had the Havana Bowl. It was good. I liked what my friend ordered better, the Aphrodite Bowl. My friend also got an autumn sunset tea which was very good. It is near a lot of shopping. The later in the day you go, the less chance you have of finding good parking.

I had my birthday party at my home and had served food from EVE. I cant say enough of how wonderful EVERYTHING was. First, ordering my large order over the phone was so easy and quick. Then, I was assured that the chef and the manager were well aware of my order and pick up time. (Thank you Salima and Scott!) When the food was ready for pick up, I received a call from a nice woman at EVE to tell me everything was all ready for the pick up, nice and hot and ready to go, on time. The portion sizes of the food were so abundant and plenty. Everything cooked to perfection, and the food quality was so fresh and delicious. All my guests raved about how great the food was, and were so happy to be eating healthy, AND cruelty free! The Legendary Hero Budda Bowls and Super Veggie Burritos were awesome!!! And, NO animals harmed eating this food, which is AWESOME!!! I had a great stress free party by serving EVE healthy and fresh food. My beloved party guests who deserved only the BEST and EVE is the only way to go! EVE is the BEST! I will be ordering food from EVE in the future, that is for sure! Soooooo good!

Pretty darn solid vegan place. My wife had the Pappadew Pesto Burger and said it is the top vegan burger shes ever had. She is picky and a well traveled foodie, so I was quite surprised.She has had beyond meat patties before, but EVE works some kinda magic and took it to a surprising level of flavor and juiciness.Good portion size for the price paid and quality of ingredients.Nice atmosphere and the option for casual dinning or full service dinning.Darn nice job EVE.

Wow, just wow! I found this restaurant because of an event held in the tonic lounge at the back of Eve Encinitas. The event was to draw awareness to the nuclear waste being buried at San Onofre Nuclear Facility. They had a short lecture then a 2 and a half hour dance ceremony with DJ Kalya Scintilla They have a variety of food options, and some really amazing drinks. I had a kava shake which was such a treat. Another big highlight were the best vegan burgers I have ever had, and they were very affordable for something so amazing. I had the bbq burger with coconut bacon, the best bbq burger Ive had.

AWESOME!!! The staff, the food, the setup, I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. The flat bread pizza is amazing, and the chilaquiles dish is phenomenal!!! When we first got there, the owner saw that we were unsure what to order, we had a couple questions that he was more than happy to answer, and brought us into the back to seat us in this magical cubby like hippy den with pillows and cool stuff everywhere. I loved absolutely everything about this place!!!

Have been here a few times now and have had an inconsistent experience. The last two visits however have been particularly disappointing. The restaurant seemed disorganized and chaotic. The lines were particularly long the past two times, because there was only one person taking orders and she also appeared to be doing several other tasks simultaneously, so it took ages to place an order.Also, whilst I have enjoyed a couple of meals here (hence the multiple visits), I have found that they tend to be on the oily and salty side and the availability of items is hit and miss. The restaurant itself is dark and very hot inside, which makes for an uncomfortable experience, especially when wearing a mask. Service is lackluster - I dont feel like anyone particularly cares about your custom. The one in Oceanside is similar. Doubt Ill visit either again.

Great options for my mother in law, who is a dry vegan. The lady who took our order was very patient and pulled out the recipe binder to ensure the bowl she ordered would meet her dietary restrictions. I wish there were more beverage options otherwise it would be a 5 star experience!

I went here because overall the reviews are good. I recently went vegan and I was coming here with my fiancé to have him try some nicer vegan food versus my home cooking. We ordered the (“pepperoni” and olives and the Buffalo cauliflower) 2 flatbreads, the jackfruit tacos, and a chocolate peanut butter pudding. The tortilla they use crumbles and Is dry, the slaw is so acidic I can barely taste the jackfruit. The flatbreads also crumble and are so salty. They seem to be missing sauce but the Buffalo cauliflower had a type of sauce but made it taste so salty. I love vegan food because I can always taste all the ingredients and this time it was pretty bad. I at least brought it home. I ended up pulling one of my own doughs moving all the toppings over because I get I would end up wasting it if I left it as it was. I did the same for the tacos and transferred to my own tortilla and removed some slaw because it was so acidic. I added extra seitan and mushroom and I got so much seitan it was too much. It already has a dry flavor and that just took it to the top. It makes me wonder if the chef is vegan or if they taste the food because it was rough trying to eat it after a slice. Sadly, we won’t go back again. It was expensive and most of the places in the area there sell tacos that taste better if I just ask for meatless or a vegan version for less. The place across the street makes handmade tortillas that are probably better than the weird crumbly tortilla this place has. The pudding was the only good thing. I am curious why it’s not served in a small clear cup instead though. It wastes less plastic that way.

Forget politics; restaurants like these are what make America great. Amazing vegan spot with some superb food. The Jack fruit tacos were good but the Havana bowl was the winner. Amazing layers of flavor, vibrant colors, and the wakame was a nice touch. Kombucha on tap! I recommend the raw mocha cake over the raw matcha. The matcha flavor just wasnt quite enough... Me coming back to this spot is practically guaranteed.

I have been coming to this place quite a bit lately. Its due for their time to shine. Get ready kids! Buckle your seat belts, fasten your trey tables. Now that covid is among us, I like the cleanliness of the food reception area and the workers. Jacqueline was really friendly and prompt. I like how they have adapted to the change and are getting good at it. Covid will pass, and Eve will be here.As of 2021 I have been on a plant based diet. Im a high energy, endurance athlete just checking myself to see how diet is able to better my performance. Food like this is the reason Im still plant based. Umm so I don’t know how to say this kindly, but this was the worst vegan food I’ve ever had and I’m vegan. Do not use this as reference for what vegan food should taste like. Don’t get the flatbreads.

Breakfast burrito was crunchy, spicy, tart, hearty and delicious!If your trying to convert a carnivore, get them the BBQ plate with both the setan and jackfruit.

Love this place! Pure magic.... amazing kombucha on tap, healthy vegan food, great crowd, and rad events! I go to the inner temple on Tuesdays and always meet interesting and spiritually deep people. They also hold occational events that include workshops, conscious dance parties, and yoga classes. I highly recommend Eve Encinitas to anyone looking to be a part of a beautiful loving community. This was the third time I had visited Eve. I feel like the food has gotten worse and worse over time. We ordered the pizza and hawaii-5-o burger + two flatbreads. the burgers were alright but the flatbreads were extremely bad - I am usually someone who doesn’t like to waste food, even if it’s bad but I have to say that we had to throw away the flatbreads because they were inedible...

So sad about this place. I was so excited to eat here after reading great reviews and getting recommendations. We got the buffalo flatbread, Buddha bowl, and 1 sparkling water. $40 bucks later I was regretting it. The Buddha bowl was oily and was nothing special and the flatbread was so dry that I had to ask for extra buffalo sauce for dipping just to swallow it :( Maybe it was not the best day in the kitchen but It wasn’t worth the drive or the investment.

I’m very sad this place got so much worse. The stuff is rude and the food is served in plastic dishes. Doesn’t worth the price at all!

The menu is delicious! I have ordered something different every time and been so happy with every option! They have fun artistic events. The menu is also seasonal, so you are getting something fresh and new with every visit. Even when the restaurant is packed with patrons, they manage to maintain their quality of flavor and service. Definitely one of my favorite places to done in San Diego!

We were driving back home from LA to SD and looked up a Vegan Restaurants. EVE did not disappoint. We were told for full service to head to the back. We were greated by staff and told to take a seat anywhere. The menu had plenty of choices and we went with 2 of the suggestions our server recommended. I had the Truffle Shuffle burger. It was amazing and I will be back for it. The only complaint would be the length of time it took to get our food. I would give 4 stars because of it, but the burger was so good that it brings my review right back up to 5 stars.

I am vegan and gluten free. I visit eve an average of once a week. They have great vegan and gluten free recipes and if something is not gluten free they can alter it to become both V & G. Nice atmosphere. Try their organic Coffee which is not better and you actually don’t need sugar to drink it. Enjoy!

Healthy and delicious food

We coordinated a lunch with a friend from Los Angeles and picked her up at the Solana Beach Amtrak station. Knowing that we all wanted a healthy meal we did a quick search and chose Eve as our spot to try out. We were beyond pleased by everything from the food to the staff to the atmosphere. Dishes are unique. I urge anyone who plans to eat here to not rush it. Its a great hang. Prices are reasonable for this type of restaurant.

EVE is a delightful, relaxed, peaceful and chill vegan restaurant in Encinitas. With art decorating the walls, a giant Egyptian statue, couches, tables and little alcoves it’s hard not to like the atmosphere here. Not to mention the food is incredible as well as their kombucha. Im not sure what to say about this place other than its incredibly beautiful I remember visiting there on a wonderful yoga event and I stayed for the event also stayed and got some food and took in the ambiance the people are extremely nice and kind and funny and patient. I foresee myself going on a future fun date with friends and ordering lots of great vegan healthy options. I had the Jamaican Burger which was so delicious and I was at first cautious but it was nothing short of amazing will be coming back soon

Food was great. Afterwards, we never got the check, i had to ask manager. Experience was a disaster and meal should have been comped. Havent been back since.

This place is very calming. The food is amazing and they have plenty of indoor+outdoor seating for you to enjoy your evening with a bite of healthy vegan meal, smoothie or dessert. Everything on their menu tastes good. I only have one complain - their Jack Fruit tacos taste very vinegar-y, you cant taste the jackfruit or the classic taco flavor ... Otherwise a pretty nice place !

This was my second time here. The menu has changed a but since the last I visited. Keeping it fresh, which is a great thing. I ordered the Buddha Bowl. The flavor was wonderful. A bit salty, but tasty. The bowl had roasted kale, brussel sprouts, carrots, beets, and craisins over brown rice with a tahini sauce. My only complaint is that my bowl was primary rice and only a few pieces of kale. I would order from Eve again just not get the bowl, or ask for less rice now that I know.

Great food, I had the avocado flatbread and it was delicious and filling.

I don’t know what to tell you. Eve’s flatbread isn’t the move. The crust is thick, damp, salty, and a crumbly mess! I went here with three friends, two of which ordered the flatbread and one who ordered a burger. When our meals arrived they didn’t get it right and gave us all these horrible flatbread pizzas. I can not emphasize how horrible these flat breads were!

The chef has guts and is creative with the menu for sure. Execution however is lacking. Sometimes the rices are unevenly cooked. Sometimes the heirloom corn is raw and hard, sometimes theres too little dressing and other times its drenched.Also Im the queen of flavorful foods! But dare I say sometimes there is too much flavor. The flavor needs to be a little more balanced. Sometimes the juice has too much jalapeño or ginger. I love a kick to my fresh juice not a burn. Sometimes something is too garlicky or too many flavors trying really hard to compete in one dish instead of create harmony.I know their still finding their voice and experimenting, but some constancy is definitely needed here, as well as a better study of harmonious textures and flavors.I still give you a great big thumbs up for creativity, concept and local/communal efforts. Looking forward to see the growth and stability of this places cuisine.

Beautiful cafe with lots of healthy vegan (and raw vegan ) options. I love the green walls full of plants and the laid back vibe. EVE has a back room which transform into a dancing / healing space in the evening. Every time I visit, I have a great experience.

I ate here a couple months ago with friends & my 1year old daughter. I am not a vegan & was skeptical at the thought of plant based food. But, I did really enjoy eating here. The portion was big, and the food was flavorful. The seating areas were all different, with many things to read, games to play just things to keep busy which is a plus for my little one who has a very short attention span. My only issue was that that the crayons & pencils at the coloring area were all broken & in such bad shape my daughter struggled to scribble with them. Also, there was no baby changing area. The owner came when both me & my friend needed to change diapers & accommodated us by making a private space to change the babies, which was awesome. He mentioned it was in the works that in the near future a changing station would be installed. I plan to return to eat here again soon, & am wondering if one has been.

We each ordered a flstbread. So the gal who took our order said they had a new oven and it took longer to cook than the old oven. However I each flstbread was extremely dry and overdone. This was our first time eating at Eve. Well try it again but doubtful wed ever order flatbread again.

Im not a vegan, but must admit the food I had was very tasty. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Most unusual place with its big comfortable armchairs.
