This is the first “Healthy” store i’ve ever been to in my 21 years of life. And let me just say it does NOT disappoint, everything on the shelves are so much more healthy then a normal grocery store AND THEY ARE THE SAME PRICE!!! You are able to pack your own products like tea, herbs, spices, peanut butter & almond butter. If you want a change of food and a place that has skylights (which honestly helps my eyes so much more) come here!! It will not disappoint 🥰

Beautiful store. Went with a friend to buy a few items and the amazing chocolate chip cookies. 🍪 Will definitely go back. The people were nice.

Health concious grocery store. Lots of fresh foods, fruits, vegetables, and meats. Many choices for a quick grab and go lunch. All employees were courteous and helpful. My go to grocery store when at work in Encinitas

The selection here is amazing. They have produce that you dont see often. Their prepared food options are expansive. Theyve got a wonderful variety of craft beers, wines, and cheese. I love this place.

This is not a place you go to splurge and get great products, its a place you go to get robbed. A small pokebowl was $19 a pound, and 2/3rds rice. The most reasonable item they had was a roasted chicken for $10. I didnt know you you could even make a chicken this bad. It is dry and flavorless. I feel like Im eating chicken shaped chalk.Im convinced the shoppers at Lazy Acers have more money than taste buds. Just too many good options to ever return.

I have been shopping at this market since they have opened!Never had a reason to talk to the manager Sean.I had a return of a face cream that made my eyes watering and very irritating and red.I ask a girl in the vitamins and lotion department if I could change it ? She said ask one of the cashiers as I had no recipe, so I did and I went to look for cream for the same price little under $50.00When I was looking this man with angry and loud came to me and said you can’t do exchange for the same amount it must be for 50%less that’s what you get!I told him the sales person said as long as the cashier ok it. He asked me to go to the cashier and he fallowed me and cashier said. Yes I said ok. And he with yelling said I don’t care what she said but it’s up to me and I say NO.I asked his name and he point to his tag and said. Can’t you see this is my name and you can’t get anything more than 1/2 you paid.Everyone in store where uncomfortable with his reactions.He also did use discriminate remarks.This market is in a small and friendly community We don’t tolerate this kind of behaviors defiantly not good for a business when there is a Seaside Market close by or Few more!!!!I personally would Not shop there and the management has to realize for a this kind of store to have people that have manners and know how to talk to the customers!!!Than you

They have a great selection of organic healthy foods. Their deli food is delicious, I love the lentil soup and the pre made dinners are convenient when you don’t have time to cook. I love the roast with potatoes and carrots, their side dishes are very fresh.

Stop searching. If your a gourmet and trying to find that last ingredient, go to Lazy Acres. Ive never been disappointed or needing to substitute a key ingredient. Second best Organic selection... Farmers Market is still #1.

This is a great local super market, they have fresh organic produce and food. They also have great staff and ok prepared food. They have a place to sit and eat inside and out with a charger station with usb and plugs for your phone and laptop. Good lunch menu, also fun staff.

Okay first of all the food is a little bit overpriced but its going to be really high-end so if youre willing to spend a little bit more money for some really good stuff this is the place you want to go if you want to have a special evening and make a nice meal this is the sort of place to get the ingredients that you want go there

Great customer service .

After spending close to $100 my cashier (Karen) said she could not reach the bag I brought to bag my groceries. The bag was about 3 ft from her. She could have had me hand it to her or she could have taken a half step to her right or she could have called someone over to help. No. Instead she said I would need to bag them myself as her arm was sore.On the Trader Joe’s for now on.

Great vegan bakery options, and excellent coffee a little cheaper than Starbucks. The price on the food though, its a store intended for people in the million dollar homes. I couldnt even afford the orange juice. I understand whole foods is bad too but whole foods is whole foods and even whole foods had more sales.

High quality products including a lot of organic options. Amazing selection including sushi and and hot food choices. Only downside is a bit pricey, but for us it was worth it!

THE GOOD STUFF ! My wife and I dont shop here very often and when do it is for 2 very specific items. French Olive Fougasse Bread ( makes amazing sandwiches ) and THE COOKIE....best choc chip / walnut cookie on the planet. Lazy Acres is the only supermarket which sells the French Olive Fougasse Bread..we bought 3. Throw some prosciutto cotto ham, sharp white cheddar and sliced Kumato on one of these lightly grilled Olive Fougasse Breads and you have a very tasty lunch sandwich. Of course when we buy THE COOKIE we take advantage of the BUY 6 GET ONE FREE deal. The cookies are beyond huge..in fact we usually split one for dessert after warming it up for 10 -15 seconds in the microwave. HEAVENLY Belgian Chocolate / Toasted Walnut flavor !

The checkout line is a joke. Being polite doesnt get you anything but a long wait. There doesnt seem to be any shame in cutting in line and social distancing??? Whats that?

This review is simply on the vegan roasted vegetable salad. There isn’t any part of the salad that is roasted.

They sell expired food for government funding over to the CRC. Also most likely making people sick from doing so.

This is a friendly establishment with very high end retail products and prices. They have a large selection of natural and holistic homeopathic remedies, tinctures and ointments. Many of their products are free from GMOs. They carry organic and conventional produce and grocery products. Store is very well organized and set up far enough space to walk freely.There is no discount club or shoppers rewards.There have only been a few times where the customer service was three stars but for the most part it is usually four and five stars.The parking lot is a fairly terrible design. It is set up like a one way grid pattern that gets locked up with cars quickly because of the stop light and the fact that the 5 freeway on ramp going north is a cluster fuc* because of the fabulous Encinitas transportation planning dept.

This market has items I need. Great specialty market. This is why Im giving it 5 stars, but I will say, they are a bit overpriced. When theyre the only place locally who has a product you need, this is the place to go.

Second time we tried getting lunch from the deli. First time the brisket sandwich was thick cut and tough (not to mention $14). Got a premade sandwich and it was brutally bad. Cold stale bread and ham that was grey. Asked for some mayonnaise but told they dont have any. Super dry sandwich $7.Bought some local pilsner from Chula Vista and it tasted strange. Checked the brew date and it was 8 months ago...so they also do not rotate beer.The tab for a premade sandwich, 1 bag chips, small poke bowl (wife said it was ok) and a 4 Pak of super old beer was $29.Who is eating this stuff?

I love this store and go there a lot. Especially Lauren, Sally and Arnaldo make it a great experience. The people working there are super friendly and competent. It is not your usual grocery store but feels like visiting a nice family in the neighborhood.

This place is awesome. Its a little on the pricey side for some veggies, but it has an amazing selection of vegan food. There is also a water station with 2/3 different types of water which is great.

My phone asks me to review EVERYTHING.... Doesnt Google know I almost LIVE at Lazy Acres. Since I stay in Mission Hills and Encinitas, I am lucky enough to have both. I know of no other grocery store that has fresh squeezed Orange juice like Lazy Acres. I cannot wait to get back to their salad bar...!!

Awesome health food supermarket. Stocked with the latest and greatest whole foods and groceries + . Large selection of supplements including alternative/homeopathic/aromatherapy/cbd goods.The salad/food bar is the number one reason, I frequent this establishment! Tons of delicious, wholesome, well prepared food selections. Probably the best food/salad bar Ive encountered at any grocery store/health food market. Cost for what you get on the meat and salad is fair also! They feature some specialty foods like Vegan Indian dishes a long side a meat lovers, a la carte heaven, of carnitas, roast beef, chicken, carne asade,etc. They also have a sushi bar Ive yet to try! Fish looks fresh though!Awesome spot! Only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5, Ive noticed they mark up the retail cost of supplements and grocery items more than that of other health food stores like Sprouts, Whole Foods, & Fraziers.

This establishment has the best ahi poke bar. They also have a selection of hot foods as well as a very nice salad bar. an interesting selection of products also. I have to say that the only downside is is that they are quite expensive in comparison to other markets that carry some of the same products

Why cant there be one of these where I live? This place in my opinion just has a better vibe than Whole Foods. I love the feel, I love the choices, and I love the set up. Honestly, I dont feel the prices were bad either. Waiting for a deli sandwich was a bit of a wait, they are trying to work on that. Go check it out especially when you are headed to the beach for an outing!

Great place for fresh meats, produce and others for the health conscious. Good cooked dishes, sushi and poke bar. More-than-decent selection of wines, beers quite OK too. Ample selection of cold brews, kombucha, coconut water, juices. Nuts and seeds aplenty. Great health/fitness/wellness section

Huge store, pricey and a good variety.

Honestly this place is way too over priced and other than being able to get a few delicatessen items & a good deli I see no reason not to shop at a cheaper place like sprouts or trader joes for the exact same items for a lot less... Although they do offer a pretty cool & wide selection of beauty and toiletry items that are pretty awesome but still over priced. I avoid this place for regular groceries on principal alone but will go every once in awhile for said special items.

A bit on the pricy side but they always have delicious things here like the tres leches cake and chocolate chip cookie.

I like this store. I dont live in this area so I dont really shop here. I do stop here for their excellent deli, bakery and salad bar. If youre into healthy eating and whole foods, youll like this store. Convenient location also but the parking lot spaces are more designed for smaller vehicles. Keep that in mind.

Cmon how can you not LOVE this spot? We eat at the sushi bar once a week. We love their produce section. We eat way too many snacks from here. And the people are hip & friendly. Any day enough nice about this clean, local, natural joint for good health!

They have a deli where you can buy dinners by the pound. Yeah dinner by the pound. I got turkey gravy mashed potatoes, spaghetti and beef stew I think. I was hungry. Good food and the wallet took a hit on my hunger. Never seen dinner by the pound before.

Clean store, upscale, but with good competing prices. Selection of specialty foods is good and the staff is friendly. They actually sell alcohol too, instead of just beer and wine like most specialty grocery stores.
